I just started with Vision Source 5 weeks ago after my previous practitioner changed services. I have some very serious vision issues, previous corneal transplant, numerous surgeries for cataracts and glaucoma. Needless to say, getting fit for contacts has been next to impossible. Dr. Goodwin was persistent in finding a solution to improve my vision. Yesterday, I left his office with a new pair of contacts and 20/25 vision, which I have not had for nearly 10 years! Surprise, surprise. Guess who waited until she was down to her very last pair of contact lenses before scheduling her annual eye check up. Tsk...tsk... I walked into my appointment fully expecting Dr. Yuvan to be shaking his head as he scolded me for not keeping my annual check ups up to date. Instead he's all smiles, "Hey, I understand. Things get busy." Nice. No guilt trip. I've been seeing Dr. Yuvan for about five years now. He's always been extremely friendly, informative, and thorough. That being said, my appointment took a little over an hour since he had to dilate my eyes (expect some blurred vision while reading for an hour or so). You can save on time by opting to have him do the Optoscan on your eyes instead of instilling the dilating solution but it'll cost you $35 (insurance doesn't cover it). read more

I visited this practice for the first time today. All I can say is, wow! Everyone of the staff members was fantastic and helpful! Dr. Goodwin took the time to explore my slight astigmatism when all of my past doctors have just shrugged it off as no big deal. I appreciated the extra attention to detail. I stopped going to this practice after two years and went back to my previous practice, which is further but much more professional. Whenever I went to Vision Source I was scheduled with a "doctor" who was probably just out of school. In both cases - two different professionals - they were more interested in looking at their phone rather than listening to my questions. They were both extremely distracted, even left me sitting in the exam room for 10-15 minutes after the exam had begun. If you want to gain more new patients, you should make the first appointment with someone who has more experience and cares about growing the business. Or maybe you're not interested in bringing in new business. Naper Grove is the way to go! read more

I've been going to Tyler Ridge Vision care for over 5 years - the best eye doctor I've ever been to in 20+ years of wearing contacts and glasses. Dr. Kramer always takes the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and is as personable and as professional as can be. He never acts rushed or distracted. The rest of the folks in the office are friendly and efficient. I've never had an order or billing mistake. Both of my grandmothers suffered from eye conditions that can be hereditary, so the health of my eyes is very important to me. I feel feel very confident about how my eyes are doing. Prior to going to Tyler Ridge, my eyes were constantly irritated by my contacts, but I figured it was just something I'd have to deal with. Dr. Kramer diagnosed a slight astigmatism and fitted me with a contact lens that was super comfortable - no problems ever again! Scheduling appointments is easy, too. I went and saw Dr.Yuvon for the first time a few weeks ago since I have new insurance and haven't had a new prescription in over 5 years from a big box store. I told him how I have been getting bad headaches even while wearing my current glasses. He did all the eye tests (made some jokes!) and then said "I'm pretty sure I figured out what is going on." He came back with some test lenses and had me look at a computer. Right away everything looked so much better! Ever since I have gotten my new prescription I have not been getting headaches at work and can see at night when driving as well! My husband has been using Lens Crafters and has had to return numerous pairs of glasses because he can't see out of them correctly.
