***First, I want to highlight how wonderful Dr. Carrie Sypherd is, and she is the only reason I have been coming back.*** It's the optician staff that that falls short. My prescription is quite strong, and I admit that it's not simple to fulfill, and I now need progressive lenses. When I received my glasses, they were not right and I cannot see to read, use the computer, or drive. Instead of correcting it, the optician told me I was using them wrong (not sure how that could be, I've had glasses since I was 3), but they would do me a favor and have the lab remake them at no cost but if they were worse (which the optician said would probably be the case), I need to pay for another set of new lenses because they will not put the original brand new lenses back into the new frames. Fine, I won't purchase anything through them again. Hundreds of dollars down the drain. 18 months later, my daughter now needs glasses. They are offering a new lens that helps limit progression of myopia, so I said I would like to order those. Welllll...they don't know how to price them. Why offer this product if you don't know how to price them? I was told to give them a few days, and they should have the pricing. Then the optician said to give them a week and they will have pricing. I call a week and a half later and the optician says "I told you it would be several weeks and I would call you back." No lady, you did not. I wrote down what you told me. This optician now has 2 strikes against her, I am seriously thinking about finding a new practice. See Dr. Sypherd, she is fantastic, compassionate, and really k knowledgeable. Find somewhere else to get glasses. read more

I brought my 11 year old son here a couple of weeks ago for an exam and glasses. It was our first time here, but it will be far from our last! They say that first impressions are really important. Well, Bartlett Vision, with their caring and compassionate staff, made quite the first impression. We had come in with broken glasses right before the school year. The staff and doctor were fantastic. He could tell he really enjoyed his appointment and the doctor even showed me some of the cool things they have these days for eye testing. It was just a really pleasant appointment all around. Before we left, one of the staff members suggested that, instead of having my little boy running around with glasses half on his face for his first day of school, she could pop his lenses into an old pair they had lying around until his came in. My son was extremely grateful and I thought it was really thoughtful to care that much about a patient she just met. If that doesn't scream to you that they genuinely care about their patients, I'm not sure what does! read more

Everyone from the front desk staff, doctor & staff helping me pick my new frames was extremely kind & helpful. Dr. Shahi is the reason why I have stuck with Bartlett Vision Center for 2 years. She's an amazing and competent Doctor. Unfortunately, the computer system and office staff have been at best inept and often completely incompetent. I constantly get a call for an appointment because I simply want to re-fill a prescription. I then have to call and help them remember that I've recently had an appointment. Add to that, I inform them of my insurance making changes to prescriptions which takes days to figure out and when I call in for a refill, they screw it up, every time! They blame the computer system but after two years that's an unacceptable excuse for their inability to keep an accurate calendar, file and remember prescription changes, and do the most basic things like schedule appointments and have adequate staff on hand so clients don't have to wait for hours for service. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place! Dr. Shahi has earned 5 stars but the office earns 1 star because I can't choose 1/2 or 0 stars. This office has forever lost me as a client and I will tell anyone living in Bartlett to avoid this incompetent office. read more

So very happy with these eye doctors, and the customer service is amazing. My husband and i are so impressed with the kindness and the professionalism at bartlett vision. Both doctors went above and beyond to help when my husband's eye was scratched a few days before christmas. All thier help got him feeling better in just a few days. They were even kind enough to extend their hours for him in this emergency. They are absolutly great. We definitely found ourselves a new eye doctor! Would recommend them to everyone! read more

Wow. I am impressed. I have been going to the same eye doctor for years. Every visit, I waited to be seen (usually an hour). I lost confidence with them a year ago when they gave me contacts with a completely wrong strength. Today I went to Bartlett Vision and was beyond impressed. The staff at the front desk were friendly. I was checked in and taken back to a room within minutes. The Dr came in within minutes after all the pre-testing was done. She was awesome; gave me explanation of test results and was super nice. I have found my new eye doctor for sure!! read more

Sad to say, we have moved on after 16 years. There are some great people working there, service is not what it used to be. We had a few service issues. We let them know we were leaving the practice, I don't think they cared. We support local businesses, but when we don't count as a customer.... so long amigo. read more

I have been coming to Bartlett Vision since it opened. With its growth, the service has suffered tremendously. It takes weeks to get an appointment, when you do get in you wait for between 30 and 60 minutes to see a doctor. I love to support this local Business, but am considering a chain because they are actually staffed adequately. read more

Wow! What a poor attitude! I just called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Gabrenya, only to be met with attitude by someone by the name of Melanie on staff. Dr. Gabrenya's next availability is June 11th. I was ready to schedule that, and wanted to place an order for contacts. I had not ordered any contacts after I visited last year in January. I was told that my prescription expired and asked if I had a new presecription. When I inquired on how would I get a new prescription, I was informed that it would come from another optometrist. So naturally, my follow-up question was, why would I be scheduling an appointment if I already paid a visit to a doctor, the response was a curt "Well, some people do." Do you think I'm stupid? How does a eye prescription expire in a year? I would understand if this were 5 years ago, but 1 year and 4 months and it's expired. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the doctors are patient and explain everything. I had a pair of glasses with progressive lenses that had always been difficult to get focused. The technician made a change in how the fit and they worked great. They also take the vision insurance that I use and the process is easy, I don't have to do a thing. read more
