This is how purchasing glasses should be! Professional, honest, and accurate…read more Setting up an appointment online was very quick and easy. I arrived 10 minutes early. The staff was professional from the moment I walked in to the end of the visit. I was promptly greeted with a smile, given easy forms to sign, and seen by Dr. Roshnee Patel within ten minutes. The store is very clean, dust free, and sanitizer is readily available throughout. Dr. Patel was very warm, welcoming and so down to earth. Just from her warm smile greeting, Dr. Patel immediately made me feel comfortable. She took her time with the exam, explaining things as she went. She answered my questions and concerns with care. She eased my mind. She never rushed me through the exam. More importantly, the exam went well and I was confident that I (finally) received an accurate lens prescription. Via lens scan, she confirmed my suspicion that one of the lenses in my existing-old prescription from a different chain wasn't accurate. Her staff helped me select new frames based on what style I liked. Then, I was encouraged to browse on my own without the hovering nor upsell pressure. I found a great pair of frames in a style I hadn't considered before. There are many designer frames here: Versace, Michael Kors, etc. Later, I saw that the frames sold here are current designs and sold very close to retail price. The frames that I chose were just five dollars more than the manufacturer's website. If I could change anything, I would suggest that the thermostat be adjusted as needed. It was an unseasonally warm day, and it was very warm inside the building. Overall, this was my first time ever using Pearl Vision and Dr. Patel and her staff left a great impression. They've restored my faith in physicians and I will make this my permanent place for glasses.

The inside was very clean and actually had a lot of good glasses selections under well known brand names. I didn't wait long to go back for pretesting and to be seen by the doctor. Dr. Rathmann did a wonderful job explaining my prescription needs in an understandable manner. She was extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable. I felt like she went above and beyond to ensure I knew how to get my best prescription outcome. After my appt came the sales pitch. I understand that with the service will come the explanation of benefits but I felt as stern as I was on what I wanted to purchase that day, the person helping me kept pushing on additional items and "deals". If the manager had listened a bit more to me as a customer, I would have left giving this a 5 star review. Tip: One can use their Target Red Card for glasses and contact purchases to still save 5% and receive the bonus points.

It is a brain dead requirement , because it defeats the entire purpose of an automated appointment scheduling system. if you need me to confirm my appointment , send me an electronic confirmation and I will authorize that. if there is a legal reason for needing a verbal confirmation, explain to the consumer rather than cancel the appointment that was made over a week ago. I will never set foot in a Target Optical if I can afford it. Glad we figured out what kind of "doctor" Dr. Desai is upfront. Saved me a lot of time. Now on to find a doctor that actually cares about his clients.

My prescription is quite strong, and I admit that it's not simple to fulfill, and I now need progressive lenses. When I received my glasses, they were not right and I cannot see to read, use the computer, or drive. Instead of correcting it, the optician told me I was using them wrong (not sure how that could be, I've had glasses since I was 3), but they would do me a favor and have the lab remake them at no cost but if they were worse (which the optician said would probably be the case), I need to pay for another set of new lenses because they will not put the original brand new lenses back into the new frames. Fine, I won't purchase anything through them again. Hundreds of dollars down the drain. 18 months later, my daughter now needs glasses. They are offering a new lens that helps limit progression of myopia, so I said I would like to order those. Welllll...they don't know how to price them. Why offer this product if you don't know how to price them? I was told to give them a few days, and they should have the pricing. Then the optician said to give them a week and they will have pricing. I call a week and a half later and the optician says "I told you it would be several weeks and I would call you back." No lady, you did not. I wrote down what you told me. This optician now has 2 strikes against her, I am seriously thinking about finding a new practice. See Dr. Sypherd, she is fantastic, compassionate, and really k knowledgeable. Find somewhere else to get glasses.
