I can see fine; I just needed an updated prescription. Clearly he was looking to make money and not recommend the best thing for me - his patient. We Went through all of the steps and the prescription he gave me isn't correct. I don't know if he wrote it down wrong or what but the script is wrong. I have been to this practice for several years and all of the providers I saw previously were outstanding. I think it says a lot about the practice that all of those other ophthalmologists have left and only newly graduated, inexperienced ones are there now. I am not going back.

We've worked with both Dr. William and Dr. Elizabeth Atkinson and they are both patient and through with everyone in our family. They have an online portal that keeps all our info, prescriptions, and bills in one location. They also use external sources to make it easy to automate your contact lens purchasing. We will continue to stay loyal and hope that COVID doesn't impact future visits.

I have always gone to the chain stores, I never had a doctor take the time to walk me through the results of my exam. I felt as if the doctor had nothing but time for me. He carefully explained the results he found from the exam. He talked about the type of glasses that would work the best for me. The staff was exceptional as well, kind, receptive, knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office if you need an eye exam. The best level of service I have ever received when getting glasses.

Dr Liesl Kaye returned my call within 15 minutes and asked all the right questions. She then advised Dr Preston Kaye would be in the office that afternoon if I chose to visit or first thing Tuesday morning. We have had our eye exams here for the past two years…read more The exam itself seems to be okay. The prescription itself seems to be difficult to read. When I bought my new eyeglasses online, they told me the glasses can be adjust from any optometry office. I had mine adjusted at another optometry (will leave review later) but when I asked about it here, they said they don't do it here. It must be done by the same place where you buy your glasses. They fixed my glasses anyway. And now for the prescription... I try ordering another new pair online. It is just a lot more affordable than buying them at the eye clinic, although they seem to have good selections, good styles. I decide I would rather save money and buy it online. It is VERY hard to enter the prescription information onto my new order. This eye doctor does not give you PD (some eyeglasses company will need that) and I cannot seem to match the information given on prescription to the information they're looking for. And I do not think the optometrist wants to help me get the eyeglasses online because of course, he does not recommend buying low-cost eyeglasses online. In order to have his help or adjustment, you have to buy the expensive eyeglasses directly from the clinic. Update: I messaged the office to solve the issue with my prescription. Customer service can take a few days, not really respond within a day or two. BUT the optometrist clarified the issue with my prescription. I get it now.

She began to have headaches and sometimes even blurry vision, especially when there were bright lights around. We approached Julie, the store manager, for assistance, but she was very rude and dismissive towards us. Instead of greeting us, she demanded to know what we needed. Target Optic redid another eye exam and claimed that the lenses were correct, but they did not address the issue of blurry vision when there were bright lights around. We chose Target Optic based on good reviews, but our experience was a great disappointment. It is unacceptable that my daughter is facing issues with the contact lenses and the store manager was so dismissive towards our concerns. I hope that Target Optic will take our feedback seriously and work towards improving their customer service and quality of products. They know a kid vision may change during a year so I don't understand why they pushed so hard to sell 6 boxes of contact lenses. Overall, I would not recommend Target Optic in Algonquin based on our experience.
