They were busy, we grabbed a seat at the bar and had a chance to talk to Big Mama (her special that Friday was lasagna and boy did it look AMAZING) Hubs likes to chat, so we got the back story on how long they'd been in business (2 years this past spring) I got the triple decker club on sourdough and my lanta, it was DELIGHTFUL - the bacon was fresh, crunchy, lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were PERFECTION. Hubs got the Mega Meaty Bowl - the picture doesn't do it justice, if you leave here hungry it's your own fault. They're open til 2 daily, check them out next time your in town - daily lunch specials rotate along with their soups! Such a cute little breakfast spot. I always ask around from the locals for their recommendations and this was the top breakfast spot recommendation from the locals and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. We got the scramble and the butter croissant breakfast sandwich. I will say if you go you HAVE to get a pancake it was one of the best I have ever had. The food was okay, nothing that really amazed either of us or that I would come back for, but not awful. The coffee however was abysmal. We called it burnt sock water...cause that's what it tasted like...it was also weak, so you didn't even get a good kick of caffeine. Service was really slow, they seemed to have a plethora of take out orders which bogged the kitchen down and made the whole experience take too long for dine in customers. Delicious breakfast. It was my birthday and you get free pancakes very good. We also had biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, country ham and chocolate gravy. As a kid my Mom made chocolate gravy for our birthday breakfast. It was very good a little sweeter than my Mom's but great nonetheless. read more

Not offensively bad but certainly not good. The defining descriptor for my vegetable hash was wet and oily. I genuinely don't think that my hash or my husbands omelette had even salt and pepper on them. The biscuit was powdery on the outside and gummy on the inside. I guess if the brunch alternative is Waffle House it's better than nothing but not a place that could thrive outside of a small town. The waitstaff standing around complaining about how they needed "dish boys" and moderately clean bathroom rounded out the unremarkable experience. read more

Food was good. We had country fried steak, eggs, gravy, sausage, grits, and toast (including gluten-free toast). Everything was good except the scrambled eggs were cooked to death. Grits were ok but they didn't taste like regular grits (like they were cooked with grease). Also tried their "livermush" out of curiosity; it was surprisingly good (tastes more like chicken liver versus hog liver). It was shaped into a square and fried crispy (but soft in the inside). Service was a little slow, waitress said they were short of staff and they run out of eggs (you would think this is the first thing one checks when you are reviewing your stocks in the pantry especially if you do breakfast primarily). Place was nice and clean. This place is worth the stop versus going to a chain restaurant. read more

We enjoyed a great breakfast/ lunch at this restaurant. My husband ordered & liked breakfast of eggs over easy, biscuits and gravy and sausage. I had the homemade beef vegetable soup and a grilled ham & cheese sandwich. The soup was delicious and the sandwich was perfectly grilled. read more

Whatever hiccups they may have had at first I didn't experience whatsoever! Wonderfully hospitable, quick with a coffee refill, and hot and delicious food in a reasonable amount of time. Eggs cooked perfectly and the grits were spot on. Would definitely give it another try next time I am in the area. You should too! read more

If they are still in business after a couple months, I may go back and try again to see if they have worked out there supposed "kinks". Went for breakfast and it wasn't too busy but waited over 40 minutes, from order time, to get less than warm food. Not even warm enough to melt the butter on the French toast. No communication on why it was taking so long, just kept being told that "it's just about ready". It's pretty sad when people that get sat after you've ordered get served before you do. I would have walked out, but the buzz on Facebook was that this place was "out of this world"...I think not. read more

Wish I could give a higher score! I eat here a LOT, I have always had the best service, food is ALWAYS fantastic!! French toast is always my breakfast goto. I've had the nachos special, chicken salad special, jalapeño cheddar burger, chicken tenders, and a salad. I have ZERO complaints! Big Momma knows how to serve up some delicious food! I was really looking forward to this place. The staff is great but the food was nothing special. I ordered the chicken and waffles really hoping for high quality food. Like hand breaded chicken breast with a great crisp instead the chicken was clearly from a box that was frozen. The waffle was nothing special. I was really disappointed. I was stoked thinking we were actually going to get a phenomenal breakfast place that is actually open on Mondays but oh well. I'll be back to try the lunch though. read more

You would think a restaurant on a busy corner of Main Street, with the name Elevate would do just that to your senses. Sadly not so. The space is amazing historically. The food is mediocre. Prices are high for what you get. Options are limited. An iceberg salad for $8. All burgers start at $12. With zero sides. The biscuits and gravy...No, just don't try it. Cold and disgusting. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Our server was clearly annoyed we didn't order in the first 2 minutes. We were newbies! Looking over the menu. She came back 3 times in 5 minutes then didn't return for 10. The restroom was spotless. Clearly they need to put the same effort into their food as they do the restroom, meaning attention to detail. read more

My family and I had a great experience at elevate breakfast company. They were attentive to our specific orders, as we have a very picky eaters. Our salads were fresh and the chicken salad was amazing. We also enjoyed The Western omelette. This is a very unique place with a cool vibe. We will definitely be back when we are in town! read more

This breakfast place is everything I wanted. It opened early enough for me to go enjoy without being rushed before my workshop started (I'm in from out of town on a work trip). The food was delicious and they were happy to accommodate my preferences (substitutions and a grilled biscuit).
