Livermush Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich on croissant with home fries.

Good local breakfast spot. Super friendly staff. Some ingredients are generic but overall good breakfast choices with distinct menu options. Livermush is always crispy. They keep your coffee cup full as well.

If you are ever anywhere near downtown Marion, NC you have to go to Elevate for Breakfast or lunch. Not only is the food always delicious, but it is enough for the rest of the day. The owner and her daughter is like being with Family in their kitchen... Today we had the Big Fioot Friday special...This must be a regular item...

Delicious breakfast. It was my birthday and you get free pancakes very good. We also had biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, country ham and chocolate gravy. As a kid my Mom made chocolate gravy for our birthday breakfast. It was very good a little sweeter than my Mom's but great nonetheless.

The food was just meh. The service was okay. The prices were outrageous. I'll pass.

Can refill as needed. The food was hot @ good! It got very crowded by noon. The star was the biscuits which were huge & delicious. They also have gluten free biscuits.

In my experience, if eggs "over easy" are cooked at too high a temp the whites become leathery. I know some people like that leathery white thing, but just not my preference. And no, the eggs being room temp didn't offset being cooked in too hot oil. The biscuit was doughy (maybe just undercooked) but I was able to eat around the edges of it and the edges were actually tasty. Sure would've liked to have had a whole biscuit tho! I know some people like to eat their biscuits at room temp, but just not my preference. I prefer them hot, I think they taste better. A hot biscuit also helps to melt the butter and at the risk of sounding like a prima donna the cold little bricks of butter I tried and failed to spread on it became a bit of a turnoff. The home fries seemed undercooked but I was able to eat a few. Nothing really special about them, just seemed like a potato chopped up and pushed around in grease. I did like the jam/jelly selection, nicely done. Some may wonder why I didn't complain or send this back. I had an appointment down the road and wouldn't have made that considering the initial order took 12 minutes from payment to plate landing on the table, so a re-do would've been??? no idea how long. Sometimes it's better to just tough it out. It wasn't busy, there was no line to order, about 6-8 patrons total in the restaurant. I was surprised at the wait, but part of that was my order getting crossed with someone else. The other guy who first got my plate shouted over to me that he didn't sneeze on my food, so that was nice.

That's fine in normal cold weather, but at 22 degrees the overhead heaters just don't quite cut it. I think this part of the experience could use a little revision. My wife had pancakes with vanilla syrup and sausage. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs, grits, sausage, and toast. Everything was very flavorful. My only complaint was that my food was lukewarm. It seemed like my food may have been finished and sat for a few minutes while my wife's pancakes were completed. On a cold morning, I would have preferred a hotter meal, the grits weren't warm enough to melt the butter, and the toast was cold, so I didn't even attempt to butter it. That said, even with the temperature issue, the food was still very tasty, and given how cold it was outside, I'm willing to let it slide. Everything arrived quickly, and the restaurant itself is very quaint, set in an old home that is very clean. On our first visit, they offered chocolate chip cookies to go, and they were excellent! They didn't have any this time, but we'll be back again to try our luck. To those about to nosh, I salute you!!

It's incredible what the owner has done with the place, and the food is awesome. I'm not sure why I'm even writing this review, I'd really rather keep this place quiet and have it all to myself.... You can't…read moreactually see the lake from the restaurant, but the whole setting still feels peaceful and charming. Today there was even a puppy there, Miguel, who was the sweetest little host/co-host. The hostess was great too--super friendly, patient with all my questions, and just welcoming overall. Another woman, maybe a local or another staff member, also chatted with me while I was waiting, which made the whole experience feel even warmer. The food was outstanding. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The rice was fantastic, the salad was delicious, and everything on the plate just hit. I also had the seasonal apple cider margarita, which was phenomenal. They even offered me a free dessert--maybe extras from an event the day before--but it was such a thoughtful touch. Before heading out, I grabbed two bottles of wine to go (they had a special) and took a glass of wine to enjoy in one of their outdoor areas. The grounds are very garden-forward. I visited in the fall, so the foliage wasn't at its peak, but the property is undeniably gorgeous. They have fire pits and outdoor heaters everywhere. I took my glass of wine to the back and sat on a swing--the hostess actually recommended it--and it was the perfect little moment. This is where things got a bit odd: once I moved outside, I didn't really feel acknowledged anymore. Maybe because I didn't have a server at that point, but when I left, there was no "Have a good day," which felt a little off after such a great experience. Still, it doesn't outweigh everything else. Overall, I'll definitely be back. Food: 10/10. Vibes: 10/10. I just wish my exit had felt a bit more appreciated--but it is what it is. Loved this place.
