So this company is trimming trees at my neighbor's house. They dropped 2 palm leaves in our backyard, then asked my daughter if they could clean it up. My daughter said no. They apparently misunderstood and went in my backyard anyways. Left my gate open, of which I have a dog. Proceeded to clean up their mess. I had to tell him to get out of my yard. We would clean it up ourselves. Then they had the audacity as ask if they can charge us to trim the palm in front of my home. Fair priced. Super responsive. Fast services. I was expecting one guy with a chainsaw to take all day. No. 5 guys pulled up, with two big trucks. They were on time. Literally to the minute. 8am sharp. By 8:05, I heard nothing but chainsaws and machines turned on. An hour later, 4 palm trees and another tree were gone. Crew cleaned up great. We bought our house last month and knew one of our first orders of business in the backyard was removing a large tree stump that had lifted our side fence, our neighbor's concrete and had also pushed our concrete retaining wall outward. We contacted Elenes based on their Yelp reviews and they stayed true to those reviews. We message the company on a Sunday and provided pictures to get a rough estimate. Daniel contacted us the very next morning with a dollar amount, but agreed to come out the following day to verify the estimate. He showed up, provided us the cost and was able to get a crew out within a few days. Six of them showed up, did the job in just a few hours and cleaned up. We knew a few fence planks fence might have to be taken down, but we appreciated that they still asked us before they did it. This company is prompt! Within two days of our phone conversation regarding tree removal, the 60 foot Norfolk Pine was gone and the area was cleaned up quite well. This company charges VERY reasonable fees! Invoice was sent by email and payment was easily handled via Zelle. Daniel is very responsive, returning phone calls, providing estimates, sending before and after photos within a very short time frame. Daniel is polite and understands quickly what needs to be done. It is very easy to do business with this company. So why only 3 stars? My rating would have been 5 stars except for one thing that cost me $$ and time. When the crew was chipping the stump of the tree that they had cut down, they destroyed a 3/4" PVC sprinkler pipe that the stump had grown over. I only found that out a week later when I went to do maintenance on the rental property and saw a hole created by the water coming out of the shredded pipe. I wish that they had notified me of the matter when it happened. Instead, I found out days after things were not getting watered. The repair took me several hours (locating the break - there were several, digging a 10 foot trench for a pipe to bypass the break and the remaining roots that I was unable to cut, etc.). It is difficult for me to imagine that they did not see the pieces of PVC as they were chipping. (And yes, I too wonder who, in their right mind, would have planted a large tree over a water line.) read more

Just had one tree cut down, stump ground,, and five others trimmed for 840.00. So happy with the results. They did a good job cleaning up and were so fast. I messaged Daniel the day prior. He came out the following day to give me an estimate and was able to do the job later in the afternoon that same day. They started around 1pm and were done by 3:45pm. Best thing is that Daniel, the young guy who's on Yelp is really quick to get back to you and has great customer service. I had four 40' palms trimmed...$300. Elenes did a good job last year and I had them do it again this year. Pricing was in line with everyone else....but Elenes is bonded and insured. Beware!!! You shouldn't trust all the good reviews here, unless you can be a victim like me. I had them remove the tree in my yard couple months ago. And I got to know that they left the tree trunk and the roots from my new gardener last week. Daniel asked me $600 for removing the tree with the roots. They took the money but they didn't finish the job what they promised. I contacted the company last week, and Daniel said he would stop by. Guess what? He never showed up. I texted him when he could come every single day, but he never replied back to me. Based on the reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one who gotten cheated and was taken advantage of. You'd better choose other companies instead of this one. I still keep the text messages I've sent to and gotten from Daniel.
