This is the second time I have used this tree trimming service. It was many years ago on another house that I first met Alberto and he actually remembered me at my new house. He was very professional, very interested in exactly how I wanted the trimming done (I did not want my big trees to look completely butchered and I wanted some shade). He and his crew arrived on time and left my property pretty spotless. There was a lot of cleanup and leaves from all that trimming and my yard looks like my gardener has just been here. AC Tree Service are true professionals. I just had my 20 year old trees (1California Pepper, 2 crepe myrtles, 1 mimosa, 5 queen palms, 1 jacaranda, 1 apricot and a fan palm) pruned, today. I also had a pain in the ass Golden removed w/ stump grinding for an incredible total price. However, price is not the reason to hire Alberto and his crew. Their incredible attention to detail, equipment and customer service make their services a tremendous value. AC showed up with well maintained vehicles, chipper machinery and fully safety equipped personnel. They were very well trained and did a great job of heavy and light pruning, not to mention great cleanup, after the cutting was done. I was provided a professional estimate, AC's business license and their insurance bond info up front. Seeing them arrive fully equiped and ready to work, on time, let me know they were not amatures, nor a risk to my homeowners insurance. I can't say enough about their work and service. Would never hire again. They arrived 6 days before the scheduled date...left trees badly shaped (not symmetrical)...with cut branches still hanging in the trees...and left big gashes in my lawn where heavy branches fell. Very unhappy. read more

Very impressed with AC Tree Service! Elvira came out and gave us a bid for removal of two palm trees, stump grinding, clean-up, and debris haul away. She was professional, friendly, and you could tell she knows her stuff! Their bid was slightly higher but after talking with her and reading their reviews, I knew we would be in good hands. On day of removal, they came in, accessed the job and got right to work. My husband was particularly impressed with the equipment, from the trucks to the crews safety gear. Safety was definitely a priority to Alberto and he has a well trained, organized crew! They did such an amazing job with the stump grinding and clean-up it was hard to see where the trees had been in the first place! They were on time for my appointment and they wear their masks. They were very polite and answered my questions. I had a big job for them and they got it done in a day. I was so suprised! They worked fast and did a great job cleaning up after. I did get a window broke but they had it fix like new in about an hour. My neighbor is also having their tree cut down by them. I had very high hopes that this company would be professional and live up to other reviews. Not sure if I caught them at a bad time, but the experience was far from expectations. 1. They totally missed the appointment we scheduled for an estimate 2. I had to continually follow up for the estimate. 3. The estimate they provided did not cover the request. In fact, when they covered what I requested, they were double the cost of my highest estimate from another vendor. In short, business must be very good for this business that they can afford to get it wrong on so many levels, and still have customers. I wouldn't hire them! read more

Well for starters they never showed up for the job, but to be fair, let me start from the beginning. I called and got an estimate on Monday which I'll admit was very awesome because it was same day I had called and it worked within a timeframe I could do. The woman who answered the phone was polite and courteous. The estimator showed up on time and listened to what I wanted done and when I wanted it done. I needed a tree trimmed before Sunday afternoon which isn't the biggest of trees but it had grown out of hand and I did not have time to take care of it myself. The gentleman quoted me and I agreed on a price, Firmly with a handshake, like men do. He said he would call to solidify the appointment come Thursday 2/20/20. No call was made. I called 4 times that day to check up on my appointment and I got no answer and wasn't even able to leave a message as the mailbox was full. If they could not do the job a simple "we can't do it" or " we cannot complete it in the timeframe you need" would have been nice but not answering phones and not returning calls is simply unprofessional. read more

My experience with AC Tree Service was 100% satisfaction. I had an approximately 80 foot tall pine tree on my driveway that needed to be removed for safety reasons. From the moment I called their number, the receptionist was attentive and courteous. Alberto arrived the same day and answered all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns. These guys are amazing! We had a LOT of tree trimming, and bush clearing to do in our large backyard (to avoid fire hazards, and before the Santa Ana Winds start blowing). The quote we received was about 1/2 of what we were expecting, and we were told the job could be done in under 4 hours. This was excellent, because the last tree service we called -- which was NOT these guys -- basically took about 8 hours,for 2 trees -- which included breaks for the 1 worker who was doing the trimming, as well as a trip to the dump because they did not have much capacity for the branches they cut. Meanwhile -- we were stuck at home, waiting for them to finish. AC Tree Service finished this BIGGER job in about 2 1/2 hours. They had a crew of workers, who all knew what they were doing, and put the hustle in the muscle. They even picked up a few pieces of junk that they found when they cut back the bushes, and left our backyard looking fantastic.
