Such an amazing family owned and operated company! We had them out twice this last week for different things. They did such a great job with the first thing, that having them come back out for something else just made sense. Daniel stopped by our house to give us a quote to trim our grapefruit tree and remove a tree stump. After speaking with a few companies, we felt like Elene's was the best option. He took the time to talk about the project, how to properly care for and trim citrus trees, and he was able to schedule the project for the next day. They came by and completed everything quickly and did an amazing job. After the project was completed we were able to have them back out in a few days to plant shrubs and transplant a hibiscus tree! Again, quick, efficient and job well done. Next we plan to work with them to trim our giant pine, and help us create a planter wall- two things that've been on our "list" for a long time. We had scheduled well in advance with this questionable two bit low budget bunch of renegade nonprofessionals for removal of a dead tree on our property and I had even rearranged my schedule for them, but these dudes showed up a day early at the crack of dawn and rang the doorbell repeatedly, insisting that we allow them access to our property. They wanted to do the job a day early without any prior notice and claimed to be working on a job two houses down from us, which turned out not to be true. They were overly insistent, even yelling at my brother over the fence in the back yard to get his attention, and it soon became apparent that they wanted to do our job a day early because they had booked a more lucrative job into the time slot that had originally been reserved for us. I texted Danny, the leader of these renegades, who basically told me that if they couldn't do the job a day earlier, then they would not be doing the job at all. I tried to reason with him, but he simply stopped responding to my texts. Why couldn't he have just been honest with us in the first place and told us that they had given our scheduled time slot to someone else and needed to reschedule instead of trying to saddle us with the lie that they happened to be in the neighborhood and working two houses down from us, which wasn't true? Their lame excuses, their bad behavior, and their total lack of professionalism are frankly mind boggling! read more

I want to make it clear that this tree service acted in a completely unethical and unacceptable manner. I could not give a worse review. My neighbor hired them to trim trees on their property and requested they trim back a tree from their side. Instead of limiting their work to that request, this company entered my property without permission and not only trimmed the tree, but completely removed it--leaving only a stump--and also cut down additional trees. When I confronted them about who authorized them to be on my property, they claimed my neighbor had given them permission and dismissed any responsibility for the removal of my trees. Their actions have caused significant damage and have left us with no choice but to pursue legal action through small claims court. read more

Later, their son called me to complain, saying they were offering me a great price, but from my research, their pricing was pretty standard compared to other quotes I received. They removed one large dead tree within 3 hours and left a nicely stacked pile of firewood sized wood. They did an amazing job of cleaning up. Very polite. Bilingual. Family operation. Yelp sent my request for a quote on a stump removal to 5 different Tree Services in my area. Elenes git back to me immediately. They gave me a quote and said they could be at my place in 30 mins. They showed up and got right to work. I asked them to remove a tree in my front yard in addition to the stump removal. They cut the tree down and ground the stump, removed the stump in the backyard all before lunchtime. Did a poor job at pruning a backyard tree. There are several reasons why I gave this rating: 1. Service was not worth the money. This was one of the most expensive quotes we found for tree trimming. The following reasons were even more upsetting since we paid so much for the service. 2. The branches were not trimmed well. Branches were broken and not trimmed well. After several weeks, we have had two branches break and fall. We have never had any branches break until after they trimmed. The branches they left were so thin, they couldn't handle the weight. We have children who play in the backyard. This is a safety issues and we are considering whether we should take legal action. 3. The communication between me and Daniel ("owner") stopped after two messages, after I asked him to fix the issue. Not sure how someone does business this way. It's very disappointing that they charge so much for their tree trimming service, yet they are not accountable and responsible for their shoddy work.
