Caesar salad
Marissa B.

The view of Camelback Mountain at the Elements restaurant was absolutely breathtaking. I was seated overlooking the pool and the lovely sunset since my reservation was around 18:30. It made perfect sense to come eat dinner here since I just finished up at the spa. My server was extremely kind and accomodating. To start, I ordered the Caesar salad which was DELICIOUS. It consisted of chopped romaine, parmigiano reggiano, garlic pangrattato, & caesar dressing. 10/10. I love Caesar salads and this one was definitely unique! For my main course, I ordered the Wagyu NY strip which was cooked to legitimate perfection. Medium, tender & melt in your mouth. 1,000/10. It was served with olive oil smashed potato, seasonal vegetables, & chimichurri. I finished every morsel of this plate, that's how amazing it was! Finally for dessert, I ordered the Pavlova which consisted of aquafaba meringue, passionfruit reduction, & berries. It was light, airy and had a side of sweetness. My entire meal at Elements was one for the books. I highly recommend eating dinner here for the views and sunset, even if you're not directly staying there at the hotel grounds. Incredible evening!

great food, does not have the view you think it would. Fortunately, we were made to sit at the bar while our table was getting ready. We were told that everyone was swamped, nothing was ready, but we arrived to the dining room with more than half the tables empty. I do believe they had open reservations available too. The food took a reasonable time to arrive, tasted great, but we had a view of the room. Could barely see outside! We picked this place for the view. Also -1 star because they went so far as to put chocolate bark on the receipt (0.00) but did not give us any. No note, we had to ask the busboy what was happening with it. He inquired and then told us they were out. Why put it on our receipt if you're out.

Elements came highly recommended by a friend, so of course I spent my last night in Scottsdale here to see what the hype was about! Needless to say, the experience lived up to the hype. I started with the crispy rice and it was delicious. It had the perfect amount of crunch, yet the perfect amount of flavor too. They were also very filling, so I was almost satiated when my entree arrived. Speaking of entrees, let's give a standing ovation for the braised beef. It was unbelievable! Tender, flavorful, savory, and overall PERFECTION!! I have not been this impressed by a dish in a while. The accompanying mashed potatoes were cool, and the green beans were just ok. I also opted for the key lime tart. The filling was a bit sour but still good. The servers were cool, and the ambiance was amazing. I loved the mountain view! It made for a really elevated atmosphere. I can't wait to return to AZ so I can come back here!!!

We spent our New Year's Eve celebrating at Elements! The ambiance was incredible, the service was unbeatable, and the food was to die for!! We couldn't have possibly chosen a better place for the occasion. We rented out a private room and had a waitress exclusive to our party, which was very nice! If you enjoy drinking Moscow Mules, I highly recommend theirs, it was the best I've ever had, by a long shot! Every single item included in the dinner was cooked to perfection. Out of the things we tried, the squash soup and ribeye steak were definitely my favorite.

Fast service, great views, delicious food! Great quick, convenient, nice biz lunch spot

Went here for a bachelorette lunch. Although not the typical bachelorette vibes, the views were impossible to beat. We started off with the crispy rice for the table and some drinks. I split a salad and a burger with one of my friends which was pretty good. Overall no issues with service.

I ate here three nights in a row and every night it was excellent. The service at this restaurant is some of the best I have literally ever had. Ron was my favorite waiter. Everything was absolutely delicious, but my favorite was the shishito peppers and the filet. The views are absolutely beautiful, I would go during sunset if you can. I can't recommend this place enough.

I'd heard so many great things about this place, so while we were visiting the spa, we figured it'd be the perfect way to end our day and I'm glad we checked it out. The location is gorgeous, and the views? Absolutely killer. The hostess was super sweet and gave us a quick tour since it was our first time. She pointed out a few of he guy r favorite spots, and we ended up sitting outside by the pool. Best seat in the house, hands down. We started with the spicy tuna roll and the burrata. The tuna roll was decent. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing special. Just kind of standard. Same with the burrata. It was fine, but I've had better elsewhere. I'd probably skip both next time. For the main, we split the chicken entrée and added a side of Brussels sprouts. The presentation was beautiful, and even though we shared the dish, the portions were solid. Out of the two, the Brussels sprouts were the standout. The chicken was cooked well, but overall the dish just didn't wow me. I was hoping for something a little more elevated, especially given the setting. Dessert was the star, beautiful presentation and incredible lemon flavor. It felt elevated and totally worth it. All in all, I loved the vibe of the place. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food-wise, it was hit or miss for me, but if it's on your list, I'd still say go for it, at the very least, go for the views.

Love the location of this restaurant that you are able to see the beautiful view of the valley. We come at a time that just right after sunset, amazing colors seem like a majestic painted art. Service was OK was really nice knowing all the specials and server explain it each dishes, spray thoroughly. We could have more water throughout the dinner. The Tomohawk Steak is enough for 3 to 4 people to share. We love the taste and portion of it. Salmon and halibut were OK, they were a bit dry, but I love the sauce that goes with the dishes. Highly recommend the cookie and cream cheese cheesecake, layers of cream, chocolate, cheesecake, and chocolate Oreo like base makes a beautiful dessert

The ambiance here is nice. We sat in the main area where everyone walks through but it didn't feel like there was too much traffic. The view while dining is also beautiful when the sun is setting. My husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary here and we also stayed at The Sanctuary Resort during the weekend. (A separate review for the resort will be posted) we ordered the Halibut and Braised Beef as our entrees and my husband ordered the mushrooms as a side. The halibut tasted AMAZING! It was buttery and slightly creamy. The crust was slightly crispy but the halibut was still very soft. The braised beef was also good. I had to add salt and pepper for it to be to my liking and once added it was really good! I would order the halibut for myself next time though. The wait time for our food on a Saturday night around 7:30pm was a bit long (an hour) but the staff was very attentive during this time. Due to it being our anniversary we received a complimentary dessert and since we displayed such patience during our wait, two additional complimentary desserts were provided. Our experience was great and we highly recommend Elements for date night, anniversary's, and any other special occasions!!

Treated like royalty. Fed like royalty. Left feeling like royalty. Wow. Elements truly went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I were taken care of to the utmost. Our waiter was insanely friendly, thoughtful and FAST! Usually you'd think waiting for entrees at a fancier establishment such as Elements would take "hours" but the efficiency in the kitchen is something to talk about because we truly didn't have to wait long before our food started arriving. The sashimi was OUT OF THIS WORLD fresh and phenomenal. I highly recommend you come Thursday - Sunday evening to sample some of their offerings on the sushi menu. However if you can't make it one of those evenings, the rest of the menu has a large selection of mouth watering entrees to pick from so you won't be disappointed. I got the halibut and the salmon, but great!! I have zero complaints and I will absolutely make my way back to Elements in the near future.

We came here for thanksgiving dinner and had a great time. Our waiter Billy was great. Excellent recommendations and great service. Was a tad cold in the restaurant but we soldiered thru. We all select a different appetizers, entrées, and desserts. All were very good, and pretended very well. The wine pairs were very nice, and I would recommend it. It wasn't that pricey, but we all enjoyed it.

My friend and I attended the PlumpJack Estate Winery Wine Dinner at Elements and absolutely loved the entire event. The service, food, wines and host from PlumpJack Winery were all excellent. Upon arrival, you were checked in and assigned a table with open family style seating. My only comment to this was I wished they would of just assigned seats. It was difficult to find seats together because groups had already commandeer spots. Some groups were broken up because of seats already saved. The evening started with a Tray Passed Reception from 5:45-6:15 of 4 different horderves and glasses of Rose champagne. Dinner started promptly at 6:15 with an introduction from the host of PlumpJack Winery. The menu consisted of 5 courses. First dish were Oysters. Second dish was a Fish Carpaccio. Third dish was Duck. Forth dish was a Beef Tenderloin and ending the courses with a Chocolate Fig Tart. All the dishes were paired with a nice pour of PlumpJack Wines. All the servers were very professional in delivering dishes and taking away dishes and glasses. The dishes were all amazing in flavor and presentation. I would love if Elements did more of these wine pairing dinner events. We would definitely do this again. Atmosphere: Wine dinner was done in a private room, beautifully set up. Service: excellent. Food and Wine: excellent.

Stephen Dean, the manager at Ocean 44, actually sent me a $75 giftcard after seeing my previous…read morereview so that was a really kind gesture!! My boyfriend and I came back last night and even though it was a busy and packed Saturday night we were seated immediately as walk-ins at the high top bar. This place was poppin! There were so many parties getting cocktails around us. We were offered the water options of bottled sparkling, bottled still, and house filtered and even the option of a dark napkin cloth or their standard white napkin cloth. The person next to us was eating the Collosal Shrimp Cocktail and the shrimps looked HUUUUGE so we had to get it. They charge $13 per shrimp so we ordered 2 each for a total of 4, the Pacific Yellowtail Hamachi, the Wood Fired Spanish Octopus, Loaded Baked Potato, and the Cookies and Cream Cake for dessert. We were served the chilled and raw seafood dishes before the cooked and baked dishes which is the best way to enjoy your meal (light to heavy). First up was the Collosal Shrimp and they were MASSIVE!!! I included a photo with my index finger for size reference. They came with cocktail sauce, spicy mustard, and "atomic" horseradish. My preference was mixing the horseradish with the cocktail sauce. Both my boyfriend and I were highly impressed by the Collosal Shrimp, 10/10. The Pacific Yellowtail Hamachi came up next and this was also another favorite of the night. The yellowtail slices were large and they actually wrapped around thin slices of heart of palm (artichokes) and topped with something crunchy which gave it a nice contrasting texture against the soft and smooth yellowtail. I really loved the added ponzu and wished there was more of it, 10/10. Next up was the Wood Fired Spanish Octopus which was cooked to perfection, it was soft and did not have a chewy/rubbery texture. It came with fingerling potatoes, roasted tomatoes, and chopped up bacon bits in the creamy sauce. But the creamy sauce it came in lacked citrus to brighten up the dish. We actually asked for a lemon to squeeze over it. I think I've come to the conclusion that I don't like creamy sauces with my seafood since I didn't enjoy the spicy mustard with the Collosal Shrimp and also the creamy sauce with the Octopus. I give it 7/10 but my boyfriend gives it 8/10. Lastly for the savory dishes came the Loaded Baked Potato. It came pre-built with butter, cheese, thick cut bacon, chives, and a side of sour cream. I liked the sour cream so much that I asked for more, and the bar back dropped everything he was doing to go grab me some. The service here is UNMATCHED, I've never had a request fulfilled so quickly!! We wrapped up our dinner with the Lou Lou's Cookies and Cream Cake which was also massive. It was like a bougie ice cream sandwich with beautiful peaks of cream which I had assumed was a not-so-sticky and not-too-sweet marshmellow. We were so full though we took half of it home. My boyfriend and I both agreed that this time the entire experience (and our food selection) was way better!! Not to say our first visit was anything less than amazing, we still had a great experience then but this time around it was S-Tier and magical!!

To me, they are so much more than many of the fine steakhouses. The place is exquisite and the service unsurpassed. We had been shopping text door at the mall and showed up really early for our reservation. We were quickly accommodated none the less. The server, Tony was upbeat and happy. He provided exceptional service throughout. I also appreciated the manager's stopping by to make sure that everything was perfect, and it was. Our evening started with a nice card wishing us a happy anniversary. I thought that was a really nice touch. It looked even better surrounded by a glass of wine and Norwegian Crab Legs. They added a pan of their signature rolls to complete our delicious appetizer. For our main course, we had a petite filet, perfectly cooked to medium rare, two lobster tails, a crab cake add-on, mashed potato and roasted brussel sprouts. Truly a meal fit for a king. For our special celebration they brought out a key lime pie, beautifully decorated, wishing us a happy anniversary. Ocean 44 is the most memorable dining experience I've had in my six decades of life. Expensive, but truly a very special experience that will last a lifetime.

I hope you get Gigi as your server as she is very pleasant, friendly and checks on you regularly. However, the two (2) greeters at the hostess stand are a different story. It is obvious neither of them like their jobs and just come in to punch a clock. It would be nice if they at least made eye contact with the customers before they have you follow them to the table they have picked out for you. Smile? . . . that's out of the question, too. We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.

Not a huge deal on its own, but it was the first of several little disappointments. The appetizers were actually excellent. We had the wagyu pigs in a blanket and tempura green beans, and both were really good. Our four guests had mixed opinions on the entrees, but the biggest disappointment was the portion sizes of some of the dishes that are heavily promoted on the restaurant's social media. The chicken Francese and fish & chips, in particular, were comically smaller than they appear in the restaurant's photos. The difference was significant enough that it felt misleading, and honestly left me feeling differently about the restaurant as a whole.
