I really enjoyed the pho and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of ox tail. The pho comes on top of a large plate which holds your garnishes and sauce. The components were there but it wasn't spicy or as savory as it looks. It's missing something but idk. The imperial rolls were refreshing. I like that it comes with lettuce for a little wrap. Good starter to share with others. We got seated outside on a nice day. Plenty of seating inside and out. Service was great, checking in on us. Would recommend if you're really craving viet food and are in the area. Other than that, it could be a little bit on the pricier side for food you can find elsewhere for cheaper. The dishes either lacked flavor or was too salty.

The chef gets creative at times and apparently edamame is in season so randomly added to the hummus even though not on the menu. Found out half way through then had to verify what beans they were and couldn't eat rest of dish. Server was awesome about it and wasn't a problem but if you have any allergies be aware the menu MAY not be exact so make sure you ask if there are any "enhancements" if you have any known issues. But a couple other things just spoiled it.... Service was slow, the server mostly absent, and the starters and the main dishes were served all at once. I wonder what the server was thinking a "starter" was supposed to be.... This was during an evening in February and the place was way overheated , I estimated something close to 80F where we were sitting. Cocktails were fine and I will come back to just sit at bar for that, but the dinner experience was just not for me at Joey's.

My favorite is the Black Currant -- it's naturally alcohol-free, but you can choose to add booze if you want. They also offer a variety of alcoholic beverages, including frozen cocktails. My mom loves the Pink Guava Moscow Mule. If you like the ginger beer, you can grab some to go from the fridge! Rachel's Ginger Beer is definitely not a place you want to miss!

The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. I had the cherry blossom latte which is seasonal, nicely balanced and delicious. Not overly sweet. We did not eat however i did check some of the food as it was being delivered to other guest. I have to say what I saw looked tasty. I would happily return.

The person behind the counter was friendly offering samples and suggestions for beer choices. They had a wide variety of choices, I had a really delicious cucumber habanero cider from Offset. Even though it was a busy day there was still plenty of space and it was not too loud. I'd love to come here for trivia sometime. Great place to stop off, rest a minute, use the bathroom and go along your outdoor adventure.

The staff turned the bar TV volume up so loud it was difficult to have a conversation. While we understand it's a sports-friendly environment, that level of noise didn't match the pricing or atmosphere we expected. Sports bars don't usually serve burgers that cost $26. We could have moved, but didn't anticipate such a dramatic change for one patron. We're grateful for the great memories over the years, but it's clear the experience has shifted, and not in a direction that works for us anymore.
