Quattro Formaggi
Shuba S.

Pricey but worth every penny. Stopped by for a lunch to take a break from shopping! Got a table within a few minutes. We ordered two pizzas Quattro Formaggi and Green Goddess, half portion of a Big Chop salad, and roasted cauliflower with hot buffalo sauce. With the exception of the cauliflower (very meh; wouldn't order again) everything was delicious. The pizzas had the perfect chewiness and were cooked to perfection. Very flavorful, This place doesn't skimp on pizza toppings. The feta on the Green goddess was creamy. For drinks, ordered an Italian soda in watermelon flavor. Loved it. Service was good. Would definitely visit again.

Met up with my high school friends here for dinner and the food did not disappoint. I had the Lemon Shrimp Pappardelle pasta which our server recommended and I'm glad she did. That was delicious! Service was fast and Staff are nice. Ambience is welcoming. Highly recommended!

Carnivorous Pizza only had two pepperonis on half the pizza

Whenever my family is shopping in University Village, we stop for food at Elemental. We love that it's always easy to get seated and when we came in today the restaurant was clean and we were seated when we entered. A small caesar salad and a carnivorous pizza are our go-to orders here. We were disappointed by the croutons in our salad, most of them were soft with a stale flavour, but not all of them. The rest of the salad was delicious though and I love how much extra parmesan they add on top. The carnivorous pizza was also incredible. It is a little oily, but flavourful. I just wish they put more pepperoni on the pizza, it looks like it was only put on one half of the pizza with the other side pretty bare. My little sister ordered the rustic sandwich with potato and sausage soup. She loved both dishes, but thought the chunks of potato in the soup could have been in smaller pieces that were easier to eat. Our server was super friendly, but she didn't mention anything to us about the restaurant's happy hour which according to their website is everyday from 3-6. Hopefully the next time we come back they serve us fresh croutons because it definitely is noticeable when they are old.

One of my go-to pizza places. The food here is so flavorful and I love the caesar salad! Service is fast and the store interior is super clean. I like coming here after a day of shopping at University Village.

Green Goddess Pizza

Elemental Pizza is a popular pizza shop in the bustling university village shopping center. Every time I stop by I saw lots of people dining in, so my boyfriend and I decided to finally give them a try. Since they're located inside Uvillage, they have a lot of parking spots available, but the plaza itself can get pretty crowded so be warned! Inside the restaurant gives off a classic yet modern aesthetic with both bar, booth, and table seating available. It's pretty spacious inside making it a good spot for group gatherings. Our server was very quick to take care of us and she even gave us lots of recommendations when it came to sizing and portion sizes for 2! We ended up getting the small Caesar salad and 1 green goddess pizza which was still a lot of food for 2 people! The pizza was so delicious and hearty and it was definitely super filling even for a non meat pizza! The Caesar salad was also the perfect take on a classic Caesar. Overall I would recommend checking out Elemental Pizza if you're in the mood for pizza after a day of shopping!

Cup White Bean & Pesto

Modern casual pizza joint with wood-fired pizza. Clean booth and restroom. Short wait, service was straightforward and to the point. Nothing above and beyond but we weren't left waiting around either. Meatball & burrata pizza was good, a bit chewy but I don't mind at all. The hot peppers were a tasty addition. Caesar salad was heavy on the dressing but very edible. White bean & pesto was soup was super salty, but it's not exactly a soup place. Overall decent experience for a quick bite. Nothing super impressive but nothing much to complain about either.

Overall a nice restaurant. Multiple groups ranging from college students to families. All appear to be enjoying their food. Pizza was good. The lemonade was ok.

Meatball & Burrata Pizza

Great spot for reliably good meal. I almost always get The Big Chop salad with chicken breast. It's like summer in a bowl. The meatball appetizer is quite large and my daughter usually gets it as an entree. The Smokey sauce is delectable. The kids mac and cheese is excellent and I always steel a few bites from my daughter. Comes with a good size helping of broccoli and fresh apples. Pizzas: The meatball and burrata and the Margherita pizza are excellent selections.

Walked in the back door and asked where the hostess station was to get seated outside. The gal said it's around the other side, but I can help you. Got seated, very prompt service and even offered a bowl of water for our pups! Ordered a Green goddess and a Hawaiian pizza and a couple beers. We were very happy with the service, food and ambience of Elemental Pizza! I definitely recommend a visit here, and when in the area again, we will come back for their delicious pizza!

Beef rigatoni pasta and The Truffled Mushroom Pizza

Good portion, but lacked seasoning. Had to ask for salt and pepper. It was better after that. The pizza was soggy on the bottom. Also did not taste the truffle oil as stated on the menu.

The components were there but it wasn't spicy or as savory as it looks. It's missing something but idk. The imperial rolls were refreshing. I like that it comes with lettuce for a little wrap. Good starter to share with others. We got seated outside on a nice day. Plenty of seating inside and out. Service was great, checking in on us. Would recommend if you're really craving viet food and are in the area. Other than that, it could be a little bit on the pricier side for food you can find elsewhere for cheaper. The dishes either lacked flavor or was too salty.

Nice that they have regular test, low test and no test drinks depending on how much alcohol you want. Food was very tasty, we had the lobster pasta and the fajitas. The tortillas were very flimsy so messy but still nice flavor and good amount of food.. started with the hummus which is what I was told to try there and yes a creative hummus plate... which brings me to the only hiccup... The chef gets creative at times and apparently edamame is in season so randomly added to the hummus even though not on the menu. Found out half way through then had to verify what beans they were and couldn't eat rest of dish. Server was awesome about it and wasn't a problem but if you have any allergies be aware the menu MAY not be exact so make sure you ask if there are any "enhancements" if you have any known issues. But a couple other things just spoiled it.... Service was slow, the server mostly absent, and the starters and the main dishes were served all at once. I wonder what the server was thinking a "starter" was supposed to be.... This was during an evening in February and the place was way overheated , I estimated something close to 80F where we were sitting. Cocktails were fine and I will come back to just sit at bar for that, but the dinner experience was just not for me at Joey's.

They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well.
