It had been a long time since I had any piercings done and it was great to walk into a clean and welcoming shop. I was first helped out with choosing the jewelry which was so great because I was really open to a lot of ideas and the employee helped me narrow down what would look nice together. Evan did my piercing and was so gentle and thoughtful with the entire process. He described what he would be doing and gave me a heads up at each step. It's been almost 2 weeks since I got my tattoo done by Brian. I had given him an ink print of my…read moredogs paw print in advance. (I even have multiple really great ones and offered to send them all but he said he could work with the one I gave him). I also showed him a few pictures of how I wanted it to look; very detailed (not filled in/shaded) he said he could do it so I came back in a week and got it done. Again, I showed him other tattoos I had found online of how I wanted the print to look (dot work) and showed him one that I DIDNT want it to look like (which he grimaced at and said nah that looks like a stamp I won't do it like that). Well not only does it looks like the style I didn't want, it doesn't look like my dogs paw print at all. There is way too much shading where it shouldn't be (my dog did not have that much fur between his digits) and it makes the whole thing look messy. The individual small pads are shaped incorrectly and the largest pad is just completely wrong (shape and detail wise). The loss of my dog has hit me harder than anything I've ever had to go through - especially working in vet medicine and not being able to save his life - and I felt like Brian didn't take that seriously with how poorly my tattoo came out. If he couldn't have done detailed dot work he should've told me and I gladly would have gone somewhere else. Even if I didn't get the highly detailed dot work like I wanted, I would've been content with it looking like my dogs paw but it does not. I will be getting it removed and going to someone who will listen to my concerns and understand that this is more than a tattoo to me. I also would like to note at one point Brian said, while tattooing me, that he forgets sometimes there is a human being that he's working on. This would have been my cue to leave, had my tattoo not already been close to finishing. TLDR Im beyond upset about my tattoo and will not be coming back ever.

I got my belly button pierced about a week and a half ago (almost 2 weeks now) I went with my…read morefriend and she got her lip pierced as well. she went before me and everything went well. my piercing also went very well. the next day it started to get extremely infected. red, bloody, pus. i decided to give it a few days to settle and then i would take action of it didn't get better. about 2 days after the piercing i was talking with my friend when we realized the piercer never changed gloves after piercing my friends lip. it has been almost 2 weeks and my piercing is so infected i now need heavy antibiotics from the doctor. the pain is unbearable, and getting worse each day.

Consistently the staff here have been rude and condescending. Honestly, after coming here for years…read moreand getting numerous inconsistent piercings (some very good, some on the opposite end of the spectrum, got septum and bridge pierced crooked, snake bites uneven), I have finally had enough because of the employees working the counter. It's a pretentious environment with staff cocking their heads like dogs at questions you have or not using correct terminology about jewelry. I once asked for a 'flat back' jewelry piece (meaning a floating curved barbell) and the employee met me with an eyeroll and told me very sternly "i have no idea what you're talking about...". Look, I have worked for my life in customer service and I absolutely get that customers are such idiots sometimes and frustration is real but the amount of bad experiences and being spoken down to that I and my friends have experienced here is out of control.
