Would like to give it 0 stars, Randi was unbelievably rude to me and my 14 year old daughter. When my daughter was in kindergarten Randi pierced her ears and she was so sweet. When got into Dover we drove to where it used to be, it had moved. We turned around causing us to arrive at 5:06 for our 5:00 appointment it clearly said do not come early so we figured it would be no big deal. She made a snarky comment about being late and was extremely judging to my 14 year old. The whole time she was working on another project and didn't even make eye contact. The vibe was terrible, she was cold and rue. I dont know what changed. read more

Any experience I've had here has been excellent! The studio itself is beautiful and clearly well kept. Randi does a great job making the client feel comfortable and safe! I got my septum pierced when I went for first time and I was so nervous! It was my first piercing in adulthood. Getting pierced can feel nerve wracking sometimes! She is very cognizant of that and takes the time to explain what she is doing every step of the way. This definitely put me at ease and I've gone back for more piercings since! For my nose pierced here years ago and she did amazing. Came back 2 years ago to get more nose rings and reasonably priced. I moved out of the state and I just wish they would ship out nose rings as I can't find any that I like like hers. I've offered to pay for shipping or have a friend come buy them for me who lives in state. She never responds back to me when I message asking that. So, I manged to make it to 45, and never had any piercings, but this was the year. So after some reseach, I headed up to Dover to Pinnacle after doing some research online, and boy and I glad. The shop was actually a little hard to find the entrace, it shares a door with the shop next door, but you can't really miss the neon Piercing sign in the window. I stopped in, mid week, with no appoinment, I really just wanted to check the place out and talk to someone about getting my ears pierced. Randi, the owner, was there, and we had a great conversation and she went over everythign with me and made some recommendations. I decided to get it done right there and then, and Randi had me done in no time. That was 3 months ago, and following her very simple after care instrcutions, they have healed up great. If I could give it no stars I would. The lady seemed knowledgeable, however she was not friendly at all. I wanted to get a piercing that day, however she told me that I would have to call and make an appointment. THE SHOP WAS EMPTY AND SHE WAS DOING NOTHING. My friend got new jewelry for her cartilage, and her piercing got infected. She didn't do any sterilization of any jewelry or tools she was using. It was also very cheap and seemed low quality. Went to swap out jewelry at next visit and 1) wasn't informed ahead of time that the location had changed from last visit (which I would not have thought to check because why would anyone) and 2) didn't have any appropriate jewelry in store to swap out stud with because none of it had been unpacked yet "due to the move." I chose to go to Pinnacle Body Piercing as I was attracted to the fact that it is a stand-alone piercing shop and not like many establishments which combine tattoos with piercings. I walked in one weekday afternoon for a tragus piercing and had a very quick, straightforward and pleasant experience. Randi was very nice and professional. She took the time to discuss the pros and cons of the different kinds of jewelry available, and prior to and during the piercing she explained each step of the process and the instruments she was going to use and talked me through what was going on as it was happening. It was so relaxing and reassuring to get the constant updates throughout the piercing, which was done quite quickly and smoothly! We discussed aftercare after the piercing, and she wrote out the cleaning protocol for me on the back of her card. I appreciated that she didn't have any products in house that she tried to sell me for aftercare, as I find add-on sales an annoying sales strategy in general. The piercing was reasonably priced at $40, but I found it slightly strange that the two jewelry options were differently priced ($5 for ring, $10 for barbell). I went into this shop in August to get my tragus pierced. I have been to multiple piercing shops, and this was the 14th piercing I've got in my lifetime, so I do have relatively high standards about where I get my work done. Randi was very professional as well as friendly, giving me advice about whether I should get both sides pierced or just the one (in terms of comfort in healing).
