always have my nails squared but this time I decided on rounded. They could have been better. I'm thinking of stopping back in to have them corrected.... also I think manicurists should be more artistic on drawing things on your nails. I've done my nails all my life and I especially around holidays draw pumpkins, black cats, witches, and xmas trees, snow, etc....I really don't see that in salons I've visited. If I could give them a 0 star I would! Terrible salon, terrible customer service and even worse management!! My 15yr old dsighted saved her $ to get her nails done. She went in with a design in mind. The nail tech wasn't able to do the design so just did a half ass job. When my daughter asked to remove it and just go with plain white nails not only did the nail tech yell at her but the manager/owner came over and started yelling at her too for wasting their time!!! A 15 YEAR OLD! By hersel! When I picked her up she got in the car in tears. They are lucky I didn't get the whole story until we were home or there would have been a scene!!! I saw a gentleman named Smiley. He was pretty good. He's a really nice technician. But in a few days I feel like I may say something diff. I have a thumb that isn'tshaped straight and a nail that already feels like it's going to chip. I got the gel manicure, he was so sweet though and def shaped my nails nicely. I've had a hard time finding a nail salon while I'm in school, but this is by far the best place I've been to!! Vanna is absolutely amazing and pays so much attention to detail. I do a gel manicure and a pedicure. If there's ever anything I don't like, she fixes it immediately. She is kind and very good at what she does. She also remembered my name after one visit, which I thought was awesome. I have never been disappointed leaving here, and my nails and toes last so long! I walked in last night without an appointment and was greeted warmly by So. The salon was beautifully kept and everything clean and organized. I was asked to wash my hands upon entering which I gladly did. I was able to get a spa pedicure with Molly and we added the hot stone massage. The whole experience was wonderful. Molly was incredible, and the massage was amazing. She was so intentional about it! - I am a hair stylist and recently I've been experiencing what feels like plantar fasciitis in my left foot and everything was so relaxing. It was the Best pedicure I've had in a very long time. Aside from the service, So and Molly were so kind and welcoming. I drive to Boston to get my nails done and I will be coming here next time! So does incredible nail design and has everything you want for nail art!! The girl who was with him at the time had the most beautiful nails with rhinestones and gold leaf - I love changing my nails every time and I am very excited I found them only one town away from where a I live. I wish it didn't come to this but looks like it's the only way to solve it. My wife went in to get her nails and toes done the other day and they weren't exactly what she wanted so she went back the next day to get them fixed and they still didn't give her what she wanted. On top of that there are bubbles on the nail and just don't look good. They didn't do the right color and went over the lime green toe nails with a different color but can still see the old color on the sides. Honestly i love this salon. One i must say the owner is the absolute best, i come in and get a get fill my manicure itself is just right but then the color selection is insane. I am a huge fan of odd colors and fasions and trendy nails ( other then the typical white, nude, simple looking classy nails ) and now they have CHROME! I had gotten a rose gold pinkish chrome and paired it with black on the bottom on the right hand and on the left, got a new opi Tokyo collection's purple with the rose gold chrome. It came out ao amazing i litterally left the nail salon overjoyed! hahaha, it had came out so bright and colorfull made my nails extremely smooth the chrome colors can be paired with any nail polish they have which is soo amazing because some metallic colors your only limited now there are so many more options!! I decided to try Top Nails for an acrylic fill. The owner was my nail tech and drilled my gel off so aggressively a nail cracked down the middle. After that he applied more acrylic and drilled again- this time tearing up my cuticles until I bled on both hands. After my nails were terribly shaped and filed the owner berated me for wanting only a regular polish and was asking for my reasons why I didn't want gel in front of the entire salon. When this mess was over I went to pay and stood at the register while the owner was texting on his cell phone for 5 minutes on the other side of the register. I don't go to this salon anymore because it's a very painful experience every time I go. technicians burn me with their drill several times. and I stopped getting pedicures here a long time ago because that was the most painful experience of my entire life and took 2 hours. I had a terrible experience here. I got a acrylic full set on Friday before I went on vacation and I loved my nails before I left, I paid and went on my way.. a couple hours later I started to get pain in my cuticles and I had cuts on them that were bleeding so I called the salon back to tell them i don't like my nails i want them off and i would like to be refunded because i have only had them on for a few days when they are suppose to last 2 weeks, they told me they will not refund me because that's not what "they do". I am in this industry and you are suppose to stand behind your work and if someone isn't happy with there service you accommodate them. It took my mom to call him and me and my boyfriend to go there and get our money back after the owner laughed in my face. On the way out he said "if $53 is this important to you here you go get out of my store". I wished him the best with his business after he involved his clients in the situation. I only started getting my nails done regularly after my experience here. So does my nails every time, whether it is gel, acrylic, dip powder (my favorite), or pedicures. He is the best I have ever been to. I drive from the South Shore at least 45 minutes out of my way to get my nails done with him. If you have any problems with your nails, always let the technicians know and they will fix it immediately. They are very understanding and will hear you out if you are as OCD as I am! I've been to Top Nails twice and i've had different experiences both times. I was hearing great things so i decided to give it a try. The first time was great, i got dip powder with acrylic tips. it came out great and lasted so long! when i went back the second time to get the same thing, just different color, and it turned out awful. My acrylic tips are slanted, they did not shave down the dip so it is thick, and they did not fully take off my previous color, so it is still showing underneath my new color and on the sides of my nails.
