It had been a long time since I had any piercings done and it was great to walk into a clean and welcoming shop. I was first helped out with choosing the jewelry which was so great because I was really open to a lot of ideas and the employee helped me narrow down what would look nice together. Evan did my piercing and was so gentle and thoughtful with the entire process. He described what he would be doing and gave me a heads up at each step. The place carries beautiful pieces--my favorite being bvla. I went to this place during Covid and that's when they changed and had people make appointments (which was totally fine and that's why I originally thought they were amazing). Appointments, masks, and cancellation fees were the bane of everyone, and every business, during the pandemic and the transition into normalcy. Apparently this company's business model post pandemic is to uphold the appointment and cancellation policies... even if you're just looking at the jewelry, and not getting pierced. I would think that a company, especially a piercing and tattoo shop, would want walk-ins. However, i cannot support a business who refuses to adapt with the times and utilizes a pandemic policy to get money off cancellations. This place isn't a high end place to be running a by appointment only. I appreciated their precautions during the pandemic, but this is just laughable. Yes they carry good products, but it's not like you're getting pierced, tatted, or purchasing pieces made by celebrities or renowned artists. If you don't mind making an appointment, then this place is for you. If you have an emergency/short term issue, you're better off going to literally any other place to get a spacer or cheap one to hold you off until you can purchase what you want. In short, this was my most recent interaction with them: they called me, I explained that I could not cancel online since I made the appointment less than 36 hours in advance and decided I couldn't look at myself so I went to another shop, they mentioned a cancellation fee, I confirmed their business model with them, told them to charge me, and they hung up on me. Not amicable but also very telling. I will not be back and I am glad they did not get my actual business. read more

The best place to go for top quality piercings. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my piercings and haven't let anyone else pierce me since I discovered Ryan about 5 years ago. He is an expert piercer who takes his time, has a wonderfully clean studio, is friendly and knowledgeable and has an excellent jewellery selection. He is the only person I would ever trust to piece me without a clamp or to line my piercings up straight and he has always come through with that. He only sells top quality jewellery from well-known companies and always sends you home with a booklet with aftercare info as well as the date for downsizing your initial jewellery. Cons: The staff seemed to treat me as just another customer to get money from rather than treating me like a human. I didn't get any sort of empathy while I was faced with a difficult decision. I ended up not getting the piercing done based on the information provided and was grateful to be reimbursed after I made the decision. In the past, I've always paid after the piercing and wish they would have done that here since the service had not been provided yet, a consultation should be done prior to payment. I will not be returning because I didn't feel welcome, nor was I greeted with a warm feeling. Maybe the piercer was having a bad day but customer service should still be a priority. read more

My sibling & I had a great experience with Evan at Precision. Evan was so helpful; I'm very particular with my jewelry, and I don't make decisions quickly. Evan gave thoughtful feedback on my selection, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. My sibling & I had different budgets for jewelry, and we were able to find options within our price points that we love. As far as the piercing itself- 10/10. I have a handful of cartilage and body piercings, and while I usually hate that brief transition period to insert the jewelry, Evan was super smooth. His set up was clean, he talked us through every step to put us at ease, and overall made us felt comfortable throughout the process. If I could give it a lower rating for customer service I would. They totally ruined my nieces birthday today. I scheduled an appointment for her 17th birthday because she's been wanting her ears double pierced as well as a cartilage piercing. There was some conversation on how I booked it incorrectly which I found to be unprofessional in itself. Moreover, I couldn't take my niece be cause she's under age. In order to make this birthday present happen, my brother had to leave work so he could prove his paternity with a birth certificate. Whatever, I get it. I asked if they could just put the cost of the piercings on the credit card that was mandatory to book the appointment. Nope can't do that. No idea why. The part that is insane is I get a call from my brother saying he's now there and being told it's going to cost $550.00 for a double piercing only. I choked on my dinner. I was told this was because she picked out gold. Ok. I get it. Again. My niece asked what the cheapest option they had and this is the best part.....$225.00!!! For your ears pierced!!!Not for a massage with a happy ending. Not for a nice dinner out with the best bottle of wine. Nope. For your ears pierced! So guess what? Of course I was charged a $35.00 cancellation fee because we refused to be priced gauged. They need the credit card info to book it so they can still make money when you decide you aren't going to taken to the bank. Don't go here. Don't waste your money. Come to my house, I'll ice up your ear really well and stick you with a needle and only charge you $200.00. You'll save money. read more

I can't rave about this place enough. Everyone I encountered here was a professional. I felt welcome even though I know I don't look like someone who is familiar with piercings. The woman working at the front counter was very friendly and guided me to where I needed to go. She called down the piercer, Aaron, who helped me pick out beautiful jewelry for my piercings. He was incredibly patient with me while I asked asinine questions and struggled to choose a piece of jewelry. Once I finally made up my mind, I was only waiting for five minutes or so before Aaron was ready. The piercing process was quick and efficient. Aaron was a complete gentleman and professional. I was so impressed with how he handled himself. He has a great disposition that really puts you at ease while you're being pierced. I recommend Precision - specifically Aaron - to anyone who wants a piercing in the upper valley. Love this place sooo much since I found out about it and wouldn't trust anyone else to do a piercing for me since. I trust both Ryan and Aaron totally and feel totally at ease in their capable hands and they have an excellent choice of the finest quality jewellery too - Anatometal, Neometal, Maria Tash amongst others. No cheap crap here. All their jewellery is internally threaded or the Neometal snap-together style too. They are very knowledgeable if you have any questions or concerns about healing too and give you a card sheet after a piercing that even tells you when your piercing will be healed. They may be more expensive than say, the mall, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for! This was my second trip to Precision Body Arts for a tattoo by Rich Van. I had an idea for a tribute piece I wanted to commemorate my son earning the rank of Eagle Scout. I have been going to Precision for years now and many tattoos later...I recommend this place to all my friends who are looking for a good place to get a tattoo. I usually go on a weekend and mainly have gotten tattoo'd by Nick and Kevin. Both amazing artists, very nice guys and are very helpful. The price is fair (obviously depends what you get/ where). I have been a walk-in a few times and got my tattoo that day but for my last tattoo (bigger piece) i had to make another appointment to come in and get it done. I had to put down a deposit for the first visit then when i went back to get the tattoo done, they factored in the deposit to the total which was nice. I have not gone to their new location yet but it looks very nice from their website. I plan on going to Precision for my next tattoo some time in the near future! read more

I accompanied my friend to her tattoo appointment and was greeted by a friendly staff members at the desk. Even though I was a walk in I was able to be seen right away. One of the piercers, Aaron, was quick to come out and help me pick a piece of jewelry. I liked that he was able to price the jewelry for me before taking me in. One shop I went to priced it after you had it changed, which for some is a major deal. My appointment was quick as it was only a jewelry change but the room was very clean, neat, and uncluttered.
