First time there getting a tattoo and I had good experience overall. George did an amazing job, I really love how my tattoo came out. Will definitely return again for future tattoos. I recommend this place to anyone. Very relaxing environment there and friendly staff. read more

I had a great experience yesterday at Mayhem Ink in Nashua. The newest artist Bella is a great addition to their team! She was very pleasant and extremely patient. I made quite a few changes during my appointment but she was so flexible and wanted to make sure I loved my tattoos...even if I did drive her crazy ;). I had 3 small fine line tattoos drawn and I LOVE them all. I would highly recommend Bella and will definitely be back in the future to see her! read more

I went to Mayhem ink very excited cuz I was recommended a certain artist named Ray. I told him my idea and he was on board and very excited to do it. The outline of the design was decent, a 6.5/10, some lines over lap and some are thicker, some are thinner. The shading is the worst part, a 1/10. The picture i showed him is the second one and the shading is very smooth and every tattoo artist i've ever seen can shade smooth. Ray's shading looks like a 5 year olds coloring book. It does not fade at all and looks very scratchy. He offers free touchups but I do not want him to try to fix it and make it worse. I went with a friend who also got a tattoo, but luckily from another artist (unfortunately forgot to catch his name) and his tattoo turned out very good, shaded normally. read more

I didn't think it could get worse, but it did. I went in with my son and spoke to Ray - My son and I explained that the penis Randy permanently tattooed on my son's arm was not wanted, expected, or requested. Randy is a horrible artist who had a few extraordinarily bad days. My son sat for 16 hours for the tattoo as shown. After talking to Ray who said he was the manager, we were told that a full refund for the screw up was not possible and the only thing he was willing to offer was another artist to fix the mistake. They charged my son $2000 for tattoo shown in the picture. He was refunded $500 and told he had to use that money toward having the rest of the work done. They were supposed to rework the art that was screwed up using another artist. My son's arm now is a horrible mess. He's completely discouraged and has permanent ink that he hates. read more

When I got there it was very nice the initial guy was cool and professional. My tattoo was done by artist Nikki Bogdan she was so great. Even gave me a few options on the design which was bonus. I almost passed tf out cause I'm a wimp but she was understanding lol. Recommend to all my friends I will be back! read more

Great tattoo shop. Their artist provide very nice detailed graphic tattoos in a relaxed atmosphere.

My friends and I made walk in appointments. Required a $50 deposit. They got us in and finished on time and everyone was really great. Niki did my tattoo and it turned out better than I anticipated. We are travel nurses and got Lilacs to represent our friendships we made in NH. Niki was so awesome I booked with her for another tattoo when we were done. read more

Let me first say that this review is unsolicited, I'm just so happy with the results and feel that this Artist deserves some recognition. So I had my first session with Randy from Mayhem Tattoo tonight, we were working on fixing a rather old tattoo that to say I was disappointed with would be an understatement. The original tattoo had been done over 10 years ago by another artist in Kentucky while I was in the Army and his work left a lot to be desired. Upon entering the shop it was well lit, clean and I was offered bottled water and snacks. Though the booths are open it actually made the experience better because the comradery amongst the artist was obvious and it was cool watching them work while getting my work done and not locked into a cubicle. Randy was patient and listened to my issues and concerns, he also communicated very clearly before and during the season about my options and expectations about how we could fix the tattoo. It was clear from the moment I sat down that Randy was very competent and takes great pride in his ability, skill, and work and also making sure I was as happy and comfortable as possible. He also went above and beyond to ensure my input and my questions were promptly answered making sure we were both on the same page throughout the entire process. Overall Randy did some amazing work fixing the tattoo, especially given the state of what I walked in with was rather impressive. This was no easy task considering most of the established line work was bulbous and disproportionate and anything symmetrical. Ultimately Randy was able to make something awesome that I can finally be proud of, and I will certainly recommend him to any of my friends and family for their tattoo needs. I've had the good fortune to have had some amazing work done across this country by some amazing artists (Benefits of being in the military) and Randy's skill was on par and very impressive, reputation for his art is definitely earned. While I'm up here in Nashua he earned a loyal customer, and I will be be seeing him for any future work that I have planned. read more

Hidden gem! My aunt and I went into this place as a spur of the moment deal, and I am so happy we did. When we entered, it was very clean and welcoming. We told the staff our ideas for tattoos, and within an hour they had it drawn up and ready for us. Devin did my tattoo, and was super helpful and listened to all my ideas. The shop was very clean and it was so nice watching him clean his area before and after my tattoo. I have to go back to finish my tattoo, but I am so happy I went. My only recommendation: if you're going on a weekend or a busy night, CALL AHEAD. The artists are great, so make sure they're able to see you! read more

So. Went here a couple years ago and had a cover up done. Great results, no problem. Went back for four a required touch up. (red ink) Tattoo artist is gone. Fine. A simple touch up, no big deal. Go back there in October to set up an appointment for the end of November to start a sleeve. They set me up with a great guy. Good work. We get started. Now this is going to take thee maybe four sessions. We do a ton of black ink. Set up for mid January. The night before my appointment, I get an email telling me it's canceled. Great. Now what? Go there anyway and they tell me the artist is gone. wtf. Answer? A replacement artist is ready and available. She's looked at what's been done, the artwork used to get the ideas, has some fresh thoughts and quality work in her portfolio. She gets started and after two hours, almost nothing is done. This girl is clearly off in lala land and I'm beginning to wonder if I should even trust her. This is a sleeve that can't be undone, can't be covered up. After four smoke breaks and about 40 minutes of total work done, it gets worse. I'm asked to go in the back with her to get this muddled jumble of nonsense as to why she cannot continue. wtf. Seriously? And for everything I was told, it made less and less sense. So I got out of there, thoroughly disappointed and decided it wasn't worth returning. I don't have any idea what's going on at a Mayhem, but two things are clear. They aren't holding onto talent. And something is going on being the scenes that left a bad enough taste in my mouth to not want to return. I've never gotten disappointing work there, but I'm halfway through a sleeve and there's only one chance to no fuck it up. And I was scared that would end up being the case. read more

My husband and I decided to get tattoos for a while and we checked yelp first and trusted on the reviews. Thanks all :) !! So it was welcoming we just gave them a call and asked for n appointment. But they said " just walk in at your ease. How cool was that? We are parents for two babies still under 2 years and time is very crucial. After hearing this "no appointment" I was so relieved !! So my husband and I go our tattoos from Gary and he was so supportive. Indeed he had a touch of an angel. It just hurt like an Ant-bite . My husband tattooed our babies' names and I got a star tattoo near my right collar bone.It took less than 15 minutes. It came out so beautiful !! Can"t wait to have more tattoos!! Thank you so much Mayhem Ink !! PS: yes we too noticed the mean young lady there. Smiling costs nothing !!! read more

I did not end up getting a tattoo done here. I called to ask if I could walk in and get one done that day. I told the man on the phone what I wanted, where and what size. He told me they were very busy at the time (12 ish pm) and I was told to come in around 2 pm that day. I walked in there around 2-2:15 and no one was getting a tattoo. I spoke with the receptionist and told him again what I wanted. He looked at me and then the computer and told me they don't have any appointments available. I simply said, ok? As I looked around and staff members were chatting and again no tattoos being done, and said that's not what you told me on the phone. He began to mutter something and I said I'm all set and I left. Disappointing! read more

Closed on Saturday no type of notice and just cxld my appt for a bigger piece...Done!

Giving Mayhem a 3, only because my first tattoo (shoulder to shoulder back piece) done in 2008 still looks amazing! I wish the artist who did that tattoo was still there, or knew where to find him. He was an older gentleman, who also did detailing on hot rods and choppers. I got a small script tattoo on my chest in 2018, and it faded within a month. I barley felt the needle when it was being done, and have had it touched up twice with other artists. A friend had a similar experience last summer; far too delicate and faded shortly after. read more

I came here and got a terrible tattoo. No color or shading, just a simple black and white outline. The artist didn't have to do anything but trace the outline I brought in and he couldn't even trace a straight line or circle. Also a little disgusted by the cleanliness standards of this place. Artist Gary did my friends tattoo and did not wear gloves. When he put the stencil on my friends skin it smudged. Gary's solution was to touch it up with a sharpie marker. He then proceeded to tattoo right over the sharpie. Toxic, dirty, unsafe. Would not recommend coming here. Update: In response to the manager's comments- several other reviews mention Gary. Your website mentions Gary. I don't understand where you're coming from. This review is not slander, nor do I have any reason to say these things in malice. It is an experience I had at your shop. I know it was not your intent as an owner, but it happened. read more

I had a great experience at Mayham, my artist Niki was fantastic. She worked with me on sizing/design and then once we were done worked with me to tweak it an get it just the way that I wanted it. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is the online booking process was very confusing, and I think that can be problematic for business. But the shop itself, all the people that work there and, in particular my artist Niki were really nice and extremely professional. I would definitely go back for another tattoo, no question. read more

So Alex is the shit. I got my two first tattoos from Andy at mayhem years ago and I suffer from loyalty that is immense. Don't be a d-bag, I'll rally at your side in war. Having not gotten a tattoo in years I went back to mayhem in the hopes that they continue to have cool dudes. By chance I got saddled with Alex despite being a walk in and despite not challenging him in my request (I wasn't going for some epic sleeve of Fraudian Faery work that he could show off to his pals later or anything) he was cool as hell, patient with me while I pranced in front of the mirror and made him move the template three times, and then sassed me the whole time he was stabbing me with a needle. I went back today to ask him to stab me with needles again, blatantly stating that the tats I want are boring as hell, and he was down. It was on like donkey kong. Oh and the dude who would pierce you is a sweetheart as well. He ain't piercing me though, that's for damn sure. I prefer ink not holes. So, outcome is this, it's clean and open and welcoming and they're good shits. Nough said. read more

So I went tattoo shopping knowing I was going to get a tattoo should I find one that I liked. I have had tattoos since 1986 and was used to being able to walk into a shop and get a tattoo. Mayhem is in my opinion one if the last original old school shops were you do not need to make an appointment. Walked in with a design and Reno took a look not only said yeah no problem but not only took me with no appointment he hand scetched the design. Long story short tattoo came out amazing, I was so impressed I went back 5 days later and walked in and had Reno do a cover up no appoinent needed. My wife was so impressed she too went down no appointment walked out with a great tattoo. Mayhem and Reno has 2 customers for life. We are even planning on bringing a friend for their first tattoo soon. Choose Mayhem you will not regret your choice. read more

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet. Must give it props. The shop is clean and awesome looking inside, the artists are helpful, friendly and do awesome work at a great price, and they tattooed my friend and I with no notice or attitude about us not having an appointment. We got some attitude from Devotion Ink and that's how we ended up at Mayhem. The shop was a lot more welcoming and so were the artists. It seemed like they really enjoyed their craft. I have three tattoos and, while I love them all, I love the one I got at Mayhem the most because the experience itself was enjoyable. It kind of sucks to spend a couple of hours being jabbed by a guy who seems like he hates you or is doing a chore or seems to think he is better than the universe. The people are Mayhem were down to earth and came across as genuinely interested in our existance and desire for tattoos. It helped me keep my mind off of the two hours of needling that was done to my ribcage. I'll be going here for my next major ink dose (when I have money again). read more

I just came here because a piecing I got at a different place came out. Jen saw me and was amazing! She was very nice to me and explained nicely what the other place had done wrong but then gave me sea salt (an entire container) and special soap to wash my nose and 2 print out of instructions and her cell for any complications! She did an amazing job and was super great the entire time, wonderful bedside manner. Although I'm pissed I knocked the piercing out it was good because Jen fixed it and now I know where to go. Also I made the drive from Boston to come here and it was well worth it! The entire parlor was sparkling clean as I waited I watched all the artists constantly wash down their stations, it was a great experience. Highly recommend! Thanks Jen!! read more

I STRONGLY advise anyone thinking of going to Mayhem to get a body piercing to go elsewhere!! I got a piercing here that I later wanted to remove, when I called the piercer- Jen- to ask how to remove it, she advised me not to in fear that I would try to change the jewelry myself (really I just wanted it out). On the phone, Jen flat out refused to tell me how to remove the jewelry, laughed and scoffed at me, and was probably one of the rudest employees of a business I have ever spoken to. She had the audacity to ask me if I was "okay". If you want to receive a piercing from someone rude, unprofessional, and who violates their own "Piercee's Bill of Rights" document, then by all means give Mayhem a try. If you are looking to be pierced in a comfortable and professional atmosphere, try Precision Body Art down the street. read more

This review is not for Mayhem Ink, but for the tattoo artist Randy King. Tattoo artists can work in anyshop which is why I felt it was important to shate my experience with Randy. I wanted a tattoo of my first born daughters name, I wasnt sure which font to choose so after looking over some i decided on one, Randy drew it up the night before and the next day...I changed my mind. Grant made a beautiful design for me he was super quick and made me feel really comfortable!

I had a tattoo done here and would never recommend going here. The tattoo began fading almost immediately. It wasn't even 30 days and I called back to have it touched up but was told because it was on the foot and the artist was no longer there I would have to pay $65.
