We used elegance on display for cupcakes for a bridal shower. I cannot tell you how happy I am with how they came out. They were margarita cupcakes. So beautiful and tasty. The business is very easy to work with they delivered on time and I thought the price was reasonable. I can't wait to try them again ! read more

This business deserves 100 stars! COVID really brought out the true colors of many businesses- being a COVID bride I have dealt with it all. My wedding was scheduled to be 4/5/2020 with over 200 guests and was cancelled for obvious reasons. Elegance on Display was the cake/ dessert company that I had the privilege of working with through my all inclusive venue (I won't go into detail about how horrifying my experience with the venue was because I want to keep this review as positive as possible). Our dessert tasting was lovely! Everything was DELICIOUS and truly elegant- the most difficult part of the tasting was choosing between the many different options of adorable tasty mini deserts and mouth watering cake options. After helping us choose our minis for the desert bar, Jennifer went above and beyond to accommodate our every wish as she guided us through designing the custom wedding cake of our dreams. Sadly that dream never became a reality; the year following what should have been my wedding was spent in litigation with my venue who refused to refund any of our full payment. Jennifer checked in frequently and ensured we knew our dreamy desserts were waiting for us whenever and wherever we eventually ended up having our wedding. After a year long nightmare of fighting to get our money back, we were to exausted and disheartened to plan a new wedding. As more time passed we decided having a big wedding may not be for us. When I contacted Jennifer last week to tell her this, I fully expected it to be to late to get our deposit back as it has now been two years since our wedding was cancelled. To my surprise she responded with such empathy and kindness- she said to let her know if she can be of any service in our eventual plans, and immediately mailed us our refund. Thank you Elegance on Display and Jennifer for having empathy, kindness, and integrity during a time when many other businesses were only thinking about their bottom line. You were the one silver lining in this defeated bride's wedding dream turned nightmare. If you are looking for delicious beautiful desserts from a business with integrity that you can count on not to let you down- look no further than Elegance on Display! read more

We used Jennifer for our wedding. We had to downsize our wedding due to Covid. Jennifer was so great to work with!! The tasting was so fun and she explained all the different desserts. She is accommodating with making dairy free options. Our wedding cake was so delicious we got the lemon with raspberry. And the chocolate covered strawberries were such a hit!! Would highly recommend. read more

We used Elegance on Display for our wedding cake and absolutely loved it. The consultation was easy and fun. The variety of delicious flavors and decor was outstanding (try the almond!). The customer service was great. And even in delivering flowers last minute to the baker for cake placement their gift for artistry came across. Thank you! read more

I am so happy that this place just happened to be near our wedding venue. That is why we first went there for a tasting. I'm soooo glad we did. They even made our special request of a pistachio cake. The cake flavors are all delicious and are actual cake was beautiful, moist and everyone kept commenting on how good it was and several said best wedding cake they ever had. Thanks so much to all of you for helping make our special day perfect in every way and not breaking the bank. read more

I was looking for a bakery that could transform my vision into a delicious masterpiece and this bakery did a great job! I emailed Jennifer about a week before my husbands birthday (talk about last minute!) inquiring about whether or not she could do what I was looking for in such a short amount of time. She emailed me back promptly and I sent her a picture of what I was looking for. Her prices seemed reasonable. She scheduled an appointment to meet at her shop and we went over all the details. We picked up the cake and surprised my husband for his birthday. The cake turned out incredible and tasted delicious (I chose Bavarian cream and strawberries). My husband was very surprised! I would highly recommend Jennifer and her team. read more

I first learned about Elegance On Display when my stepdaughter got married two years ago. The venue recommended Jennifer and her team and I understand why. A beautiful and delicious cake! Since then I have ordered small-bite desserts for parties, holidays, and recently a cake for my aunt's 100th birthday. Not only did Jennifer create a beautiful cake for the special day but even the "non-cake eaters" had seconds. I highly recommend Jennifer and her team. My go-to for first-class desserts of every kind. read more

Just had my cake tasting with her for our wedding! All the cakes were goooood! I have nothing bad to say. But the butter cream frosting is also during the tasting she also had us try some of the dessertt, which was pretty nice of her. Cant wait to see my wedding cake! read more

Jennifer is heaven sent! I had a last minute request, to deliver a cake to Fallbrook Hospital. Jennifer not only delivered, but gained a customer for life (all the way from New Jersey)! She made a butter-cream rum cake decorated with a Fleur-de-lis. The cake looked divine and beyond passed inspection when there was no more left in less than 20 minutes! I live in New Jersey and had to trust that all would be delivered OK. Jennifer communicated with me via phone and text, pretty much the way everyone communicates nowadays. Loved the flexibility and her follow up was on point! I received my receipt via text and even got a picture of the cake and the box! Elegance on Display, THANK YOU so very much for your OUTSTANDING service! read more

Jennifer was our cake vendor that was included in our wedding package at the Wedgewood Fallbrook venue. We met with her first about 7 months before the wedding. She was so welcoming and really wanted to create something we would love. We really didn't have a clear picture of what we wanted so she asked us to describe our wedding vision. Since it was a concert theme wedding, she suggested using images of the vinyl records that would be at each table and including them on to the cake. She also wanted to incorporate our Ticket Invitation. She completely exceeded our expectations. The cake was a true work of art!!! Thank you so much Jennifer for making our wedding cake! She even made a separate cake to keep for our anniversary. Lovely lady and a pleasure to work with! read more

Having a delicious wedding cake was important to us, and we were SO happy to have chosen Elegance on Display. First, Jennifer and her staff are amazing. Our design appointments were with Jasmine, who was so patient with us when we showed up late, but didn't rush us as we asked a million questions and showed us many options (we loved their photo slideshow and mock cakes on display). She sketched out our vision... and then sat with us for another hour months later when we completely changed our minds. The 2 cakes we had brought tears to my eyes - they were so personal and beautifully designed that I never knew a cake could be so special! But aside from the look, the cake was DELICIOUS. Both flavors were moist, dense yet fluffy, and perfectly done. My mom was so impressed that she ordered a cake for my bridal shower as well, which Jennifer designed to match our invitations - everyone ooh'ed and ahh'ed not just at the look but the taste too (we went home and promptly gobbled up all the leftovers!) Jennifer was very responsive all along the way, even getting the bridal shower cake to my mom earlier than agreed upon when she asked, despite Jennifer being booked with several other events that weekend. I will be ordering all special occasion cakes from her in the future! read more

I couldn't be more happier with my son's 1st birthday party. Jennifer and Jasmine from Elegance on Display did a great job taking our ideas for our son's little monster themed party and customizing a dessert table and cake for our party even better than we imagined. It was such a big hit at the party and all of our guests raved about it. They all said it looked too good to eat and the display was so nicely setup but I convinced them to dig in and they did happily! The cake was two tiers, bottom layer was a white cake with bavarian cream and strawberries, we had them dye the cake a two tone orange for one layer and green for the second layer so it looked like a monster inside once we cut into it. The top layer was chocolate with chocolate mousse. Both cakes were delicious, moist and overall great flavors. I highly recommend Elegance on Display and will definitely be calling them for our future parties. read more

What an amazing job Jennifer did on the wedding cake and the groom's cake. Jennifer and her team made a fire truck for our groom's cake and it amazed the guests! Finding a company for my wedding cake was one of the hardest jobs I had. I started with Yelp and contacted over 7 companies. Elegance on Display blew everyone out of the water. Not only with her customer service and friendliness, but with the taste of her cakes and her affordability. I hit the lottery with Jennifer! My parents also said they were her favorite out of the 3 that they went to with me. Her cakes are the best I've ever tasted and she had a lot of unique icing choices to go with every flavor. She was prepared for our visit and helped me decide on a cake design. When I contacted her a few months later to completely redesign my cake (I decided instead of a basic 4 tier cake, I wanted to go extreme and do a chandelier cake) she was very enthusiastic about taking on the task and quoted me a VERY reasonable price! She accepted American Express which, with wedding vendors, is hard to find and helped me make my cake vision come to life. I had every bit of faith in her to complete my dream wedding cake and holy cow did she come through!!! It was the talk of the night and EVERYTHING I had imagined it would be. I still can't believe the price for not only the set-up behind the scenes (you know this cake took some hard work!) but also how delicious the cake was! She included a one-year anniversary cake for my husband and me in a similar design which most other bakeries didn't include (only a piece of cake, but she gave a whole mini version cake of ours!). Thank you so much Jennifer for your enthusiasm, dedication, and friendliness! You deserve to be on the preferred vendor list of every venue in town! read more

Prior to meeting Jennifer for our wedding cake, I had no solid vision in mind. All I knew was, I wanted a cupcake tower with a cake on the top tier and a picture of "um...I think I want something like this?". After speaking with Jennifer and of her asking us a few questions, she was able to extract exactly what I wanted and I left the meeting feeling excited but apprehensive. Just to paint a full picture, I am the most indecisive person -- every decision is like Sophie's Choice. When I saw the cake at the wedding, I was ecstatic. It was so beautiful and DELICIOUS. She nailed the color, the aesthetic, the taste... just everything. We ordered the red velvet, traditional white and chocolate custard, I'm not one for overwhelmingly sweet desserts and these were just the perfect balance. We loved them and most importantly, our guests loved them.. We were incredibly bummed when we weren't able to eat the leftover cake until a week after the wedding. We prepared ourselves for a drier/more stale version of the deliciousness we had but to our surprise, it was still just as good as what we had on the day of the wedding. We could not have been happier with Jennifer and highly recommend what she has to offer. We still talk about wanting more of Jennifer's cake to this day! read more

Working with Jennifer, the owner, was a total nightmare. Like many other Yelpers are saying she is rude, unprofessional, and clearly lacks business ethics. Elegance on Display was the vendor for cakes for our venue. We added a cake to our package so we had no choice, but to go with Elegance on Display. From the beginning it was brutal. It was difficult to get an appointment. When we finally did the woman, not Jennifer, who helped us was friendly and a joy to work with. We told her our count was about 100. That put us at a 3 tiered cake. We agreed that we wanted to add another tier, making it 4 tiers, an additional $28 (4 inch top tier) After our initial consultation I emailed Jennifer letting her know we definitely wanted the cake to be 4 tiers and also wondering about a grooms cake. Her responses took a long time and when they did finally happen were very short answers. Her emails were lacking any professionalism at all. I had many normal questions about the groom's cake like how big was it going to be, price, etc. All the responses seemed as if I was annoying her. So, I refused to give her the business and went elsewhere. As it came time to give our final count, it had gone down to 83. Jennifer called me one morning at 9am and without any real introduction asking what our final count was as our venue was only going to pay for that. I knew this and wouldn't expect them to do anything more for us. However, we had already told her we would pay for anything extra. Suddenly her price raised from $3.50 to $4.00 a slice and we were going to owe some outrageous amount- $80 additional dollars. When I challenged her on the phone she began to get upset and was all over the place. I called her back later that day to ask her some questions after I realized she was over charging us. It basically went as well as the first conversation and after I called her out on it she asked why I hadn't let her know I was given a different per slice price prior. She must have not listened to anything in our prior conversation because I mentioned it a good 5 times. I decided to write her an email detailing everything and telling her because our wedding was just days away we had no choice, but to go with her and pay her extra fee. She responded, knocked off $10, and neglected to really comment on anything that she was in the wrong for. The day came and I saw the cake. The flavors were all good. Cake looked nice. My only complaint was that I wanted fresh flowers on top of the cake. I don't know if this was Jennifer's fault or the florist. I was very specific with Jennifer so considering the previous issues we had she could have taken the initiative to make sure it was done and of course if it was her job she should have done it anyways. It was never done..... read more

We were referred to Jennifer by our venue, and are so glad we chose her! It was a pleasure meeting with her to do our tastings, and we were so surprised at how reasonable she was! We ordered a simple, yet elegant two-tiered cake, and lots of mini desserts, including mini cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, S'mores pops, and cheesecake bites. Everything was so delicious (that I got to try at least), and all of our guests said they loved all of the desserts! I would recommend Jennifer to anyone! She was easy to work with and very reasonable to fit within our budget. read more

We were absolutely thrilled with how beautiful our cake turned out to be. We had brought a few photos to Jennifer and together we came up with an idea for our wedding cake. As a professional wedding photographer, I have seen and tasted a LOT of wedding cakes. When planning our own wedding in 2009, we chose Elegance on Display. Jennifer's creations are not only delicious (we had a three-tiered wedding cake with three different flavors on each tier), but the designs are great, AND for what you get, it is a GREAT value. Since then, I have referred Jennifer to many of our own wedding clients and have always heard great things from them afterwards. read more

Jennifer was fantastic to work with in regards to our wedding cake. She was very professional and had some great recommendations for desserts for the wedding. Unfortunately we did not get to have our wedding due to COVID-19 but she was very understanding and willing to refund our deposit. That's exactly the type of customer service that gets people coming back and my fiancé and I greatly appreciate your concern for our well being and your willingness to go above and beyond. We will definitely be using Jennifer if we need desserts in the future. Not only are her desserts fantastic, her customer service is top notch! Thank you again. read more

Elegance on Display was the bakery that was provided with my package at Wedgewood Fallbrook and I would not have picked anyone else! Jennifer was very helpful when it came to suggesting just the right style of cake and details that I wanted for my wedding. She had a lot of options that were included in our package, I originally assumed we would only have the choice between a few different styles. When we met with her in her bakery in Fallbrook she met us with all smiles and her samples were delicious! She even had some unexpected visitors during our appointment which she handled with grace and without compromising our appointment. From the concept drawing to the actual cake the day of we were not disappointed, plus it was delicious! Many of our guests commented on the cake and many even took leftovers! I would definitely recommend Jennifer and Elegance on display to anyone who needs a bakery for wedding or otherwise. Thanks Jennifer! read more

While wedding cakes and cake decorations in general seem to be the expertise of this bakery, my birthday cake didn't meet my expectations. It was definitely pretty (whipped cream frosting, fresh strawberries and chocolate drizzle) however; the cake was dry and the 2 large layers could have been cut into 4 layers that would have had more filling and, perhaps, been less dry. The whipped cream frosting was overly sweet. read more

We booked our wedding through Wedgewood in Fallbrook and Elegance on Display was our vendor for the location. They were Amazing! Jennifer was so accommodating! She asked us what we wanted and said everything was virtually covered unless we went fondant. She also didn't try to up-sell and said that she can do most things with buttercream so that we wouldn't even need to get the fondant. Loved our cake and it was DELICIOUS! We asked for a small little hidden Batman that she did without hesitation. He was a little extra, but it was so worth it when all my nieces and nephews found him. They were perfect! We had a three-tier square offset wedding cake for my daughters' wedding in November. It was beautifully decorated, and very elegant. It arrived in great shape, and the setup was professional. It was also the best tasting cake I have ever had! We picked the lemon with rasberry filling for one layer, and chocolate/chocolate mousse for the other two, and received many compliments on the flavor and texture. It easily served 90 guests, with a little left over for the next day with family and friends. Jennifer included a separate small cake in its own box for the bride and groom to take away with them, a nice touch. I would highly reccommend Elegance on Display. Thank you again! read more
