Due to a major mistake on the venue's end, our couple's wedding cake was served to a different event the day before the wedding. Yes... the entire cake was gone. We were left without a cake for the bride and groom to cut on their wedding day, and with very little time to fix it. Enter Batter Up Bakery... and they absolutely saved the day. From the very first interaction, Samantha at the front counter was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Selena, the decorator, did an unbelievable job recreating the cake exactly as originally designed. And Jim, the owner who handled delivery, was professional, communicative, and ensured everything arrived perfectly. They stepped in quickly and created a replacement cake that looked identical to what the couple originally ordered. Not only was it visually perfect, but it was also delicious. The entire process was seamless and handled with such care. The most incredible part? The bride had no idea anything had gone wrong until after the wedding. Everything felt flawless, and that is exactly what you hope for as a planner. In all my years in the industry, I have never experienced customer service like this. Batter Up turned what could have been a disaster into a perfect moment. I will be recommending them to every single one of my future couples. Truly phenomenal service, talent, and professionalism.

I was just planning to grab a cinnamon roll, a loaf of their Cinnamon Burst Bread and a quick sandwich for the drive home. To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

I can not tell you how absolutely pleased I was with my wedding cupcakes and cake. After endless hours on the phone with Suzanne, asking questions, listening to advise, doing a taste test and endless communication via text, phone calls, etc., (I.e: I had never planned a wedding before, I had no idea what I was doing. :) ) my wedding cake/cupcakes came out far more beautiful then I had EVER imagined. Suzanne made them perfect. I had four different flavors of cupcakes with my favorite being white chocolate with raspberry filling. The work that Suzanne put in to making my wedding cake/cupcakes perfect is truly appreciated. I am still so in love with this display. I strongly recommend Suzanne's Bakery for any cake needs. Was looking for a birthday cake for my daughter i reached out and got a quick response, after communicating back and forth came to having a draft of what i was looking for and left it in her hands to make cake happen (no sure if you guys catch that). Any how did not disappoint cake was looking great as my daughter saw it her face said it all and us as parents our children happyness means everything she was happy i was happier and not only looked great but the taste was so good too! I requested chocolate because thats what my daughter wanted but me not being a chocolate person i ate it more then few times.. I highly recommended!! Definitely will be getting more cakes. She was always very accommodating to my fiancé and I since we didn't live in California at the time that we were planning our wedding. We would be in California for only a few dates and could only make it out to Temecula at certain times and Debbie was still able to help us plan it all and provide a cake tasting for us. That tasting was phenomenal and sold us right away! Paying for the creation of cakes was pretty easy! They don't send out reminders if you split out the payments (I did it in two payments) so make sure to pay attention to the dates. The only downside in all of this was trying to reach out to Debbie right before our wedding (to ensure the second payment went through to her and to ensure our cake would be ready and arriving at our venue). When I did get ahold of her, she did not remember me or my order, but assured me it was in her calendar. Luckily, my wedding day of organizer was able to coordinate with her ahead of time and I did not know of this until my rehearsal day. So all in all it worked out and everything was assured! Our cake turned out perfect! Exactly what Debbie and I had spoken about almost a year before. We couldn't have been happier with the moist cake and yummy soft filling and frosting. It was SO good! Can't go wrong with these beautiful and delicious cakes!

We booked a tasting, and I can confidently say that it was too hard to choose because everything is so delicious. Their homemade buttercream is to die for. Cathy walked us through the process of selecting the cake flavors and fillings and even gave us time alone so we weren't pressured to have certain reactions. Once we filled out our forms, she asked about general design questions and anything else she may need to know before we wrapped things up. On the day of, everything went so smoothly and the cake was beautiful and delicious. I realized I didn't have a picture of the cakes without it faces in them, so I don't have a picture to share. It was already perfectly set up so we didn't have to worry about anything. We also remembered Cathy telling us that she has a deal where you can ask for your cake to be remade on the one year wedding anniversary. We called about two weeks in advance and she said she would happily make one of them for a discounted price. We picked it up and Cathy was busy as ever but still made time to talk with us and congratulate us on one year. We took our cake home and it was beautiful. Even better, the cake was so delicious and brought back some memories of the day. Nothing can beat her skills at baking, designing, and communicating.
