She was always very accommodating to my fiancé and I since we didn't live in California at the time that we were planning our wedding. We would be in California for only a few dates and could only make it out to Temecula at certain times and Debbie was still able to help us plan it all and provide a cake tasting for us. That tasting was phenomenal and sold us right away! Paying for the creation of cakes was pretty easy! They don't send out reminders if you split out the payments (I did it in two payments) so make sure to pay attention to the dates. The only downside in all of this was trying to reach out to Debbie right before our wedding (to ensure the second payment went through to her and to ensure our cake would be ready and arriving at our venue). When I did get ahold of her, she did not remember me or my order, but assured me it was in her calendar. Luckily, my wedding day of organizer was able to coordinate with her ahead of time and I did not know of this until my rehearsal day. So all in all it worked out and everything was assured! Our cake turned out perfect! Exactly what Debbie and I had spoken about almost a year before. We couldn't have been happier with the moist cake and yummy soft filling and frosting. It was SO good! Can't go wrong with these beautiful and delicious cakes!

Due to a major mistake on the venue's end, our couple's wedding cake was served to a different event the day before the wedding. Yes... the entire cake was gone. We were left without a cake for the bride and groom to cut on their wedding day, and with very little time to fix it. Enter Batter Up Bakery... and they absolutely saved the day. From the very first interaction, Samantha at the front counter was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Selena, the decorator, did an unbelievable job recreating the cake exactly as originally designed. And Jim, the owner who handled delivery, was professional, communicative, and ensured everything arrived perfectly. They stepped in quickly and created a replacement cake that looked identical to what the couple originally ordered. Not only was it visually perfect, but it was also delicious. The entire process was seamless and handled with such care. The most incredible part? The bride had no idea anything had gone wrong until after the wedding. Everything felt flawless, and that is exactly what you hope for as a planner. In all my years in the industry, I have never experienced customer service like this. I decided to call some bakeries in Fallbrook and Temecula for a birthday cake, but they were all too busy with wedding cakes. My sister-in-law then said she would just get one from the grocery store. Well, I knew that that would not fly with my niece, especially for her 50th birthday! I am so happy that I found Savvy Macs in Fallbrook. It was easy to pre-order, and convenient for me to pick up on our way. My niece was floored by the beauty of her 50th birthday macaron sampler! I don't know how many pictures she took of it, from every angle! She just loved it, and the flavors they picked based on color were just delightful! My favorite however, was the pistachio. We ended up going to a fall festival in Fallbrook, and stumbled across a booth for Savvy Macs, so my niece was able to thank them for the beautiful macaron ensemble. We booked a tasting, and I can confidently say that it was too hard to choose because everything is so delicious. Their homemade buttercream is to die for. Cathy walked us through the process of selecting the cake flavors and fillings and even gave us time alone so we weren't pressured to have certain reactions. Once we filled out our forms, she asked about general design questions and anything else she may need to know before we wrapped things up. On the day of, everything went so smoothly and the cake was beautiful and delicious. I realized I didn't have a picture of the cakes without it faces in them, so I don't have a picture to share. It was already perfectly set up so we didn't have to worry about anything. We also remembered Cathy telling us that she has a deal where you can ask for your cake to be remade on the one year wedding anniversary. We called about two weeks in advance and she said she would happily make one of them for a discounted price. We picked it up and Cathy was busy as ever but still made time to talk with us and congratulate us on one year. We took our cake home and it was beautiful. Even better, the cake was so delicious and brought back some memories of the day. Nothing can beat her skills at baking, designing, and communicating. If I could ask BoCakes to make all my cakes for other big celebrations, I most certainly would!

From initial sketches to her creative cake suggestions, her cakes exceed my expectations, every single time. By far, our most favorite and most delicious cakes we've ever had for our special occasions. We've had the chance to showcase her cakes, cake pops, and cupcakes for several of our son's birthdays, baby showers and even my dad's surprise 70th. Last year, sadly, I didn't book my son's cake early enough, and we (especially our son) missed her cake immensely! He was so disappointed and we did our best to make do.
