Unfortunately this business doesn't take the time to respond to customer inquiries. Nice picture of adorable cupcakes though.

This most recent visit we had their vegan avocado cookies but I didn't love it. I'm not sure if it was too sweet or too salty. It just tasted a bit off. My kids both had a couple bites and didn't want anymore, which is odd for them to not eat sweets. We also had a tropical sunrise smoothie, which I tried and it was good. One of my daughter's liked hers and the other was picky and said it tasted different. Hubby and I ordered lattes with oat milk. Unfortunately, the Mexican mocha powder mix contains dairy since they use the LA Abuelita Brand of mix (owned by Nestle and not the true OG Mexican chocolate, check out Ibarra instead). So we ended up with vanilla and hazelnut lattes instead with oat milk. We took our goodies to go and service was friendly and quick. In the past, I recall more vegan pastries so I'm a bit disappointed that the only option was a cookie. Anyway, I would likely return if I'm meeting up with friends or in the area for a drink, but wishing they had more vegan friendly options. Plenty of seating inside. The door was a little funky to open/close. Bathrooms inside. Street parking or free parking in the lot across the street from the gem society. Check the website for hours because it seems Fallbrook has funky hours compared to typical businesses.

Multiple times my food has been cold or just tastes 'meh.' I think if the service was great, I could be a little more forgiving about the food, but when your cold meal is served to you by someone with an even colder personality, it really makes me question why I keep coming back. I will say that their baked goods are great, so that's mostly why I return (and because there are limited cafe spots in Fallbrook).

I gave them my theme and examples of what I'd like to include in the design and they were in point! And the high quality ingredients were absolutely amazing! The taste of the cakes and petit desserts were phenomenal and freshly made. My guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious the desserts were. And what I loved was it wasn't excessively sweet but exactly the right combinations. They also have last minute already made cakes and desserts but also decorated a cake for me in one day!!! That's unheard of! For wedding and more elaborate cakes they need several weeks notice but their cakes are worth the wait!!! They truly are works of art that taste unbelievable!!! My favorite, if I have to pick one, is the chocolate cake, chocolate ganache filling with a white buttercream. The icing is so light and airy almost like a whipping cream icing. My guest were fighting over the last piece! Definitely will get a larger cake next time! This woman-owned business is no joke! These artist and master pastry chefs do it all! You might say their confections are perfection!!!

I had a heck of a bad weekend and was beyond surprised to be gifted handcrafted artistic vegan cupcakes because she loves my massages. Needless to say I was blown away and beyond touched at her kindness and generosity She gifted me a box of 6, 3 different flavors: confetti, vanilla churro and lemon... So far I have only tried the lemon. I love all things lemon! This was beyond exceptional and indescribable and delicious. I don't have enough adjectives to describe how delicious this cupcake was and it was light and fluffy (my experience with prior vegan cupcakes is not great)! The candied lemon on top was so yummy ! Highly recommended cupcakes and skills! Plus the owner is such a sweetheart!

We thought we'd try Little Cakes Kitchen, so we ordered the half-dozen box of assorted cupcakes. They were delivered through DoorDash. We knew we were not able to pick our flavors by ordering this way, but figured Little Cakes would send a representative sample, which I assume they did. I'm not sure which flavors were in our box because they weren't labeled. I wanted to know what we were eating, but I had to dig through many past reviews to identify most of them. The 6 flavors received in the 1/2-dozen box were: * Vanilla * Chocolate * Almond Champagne * German Chocolate * Something Marshmallow-Topped * Something Chocolate--Topped with Thin Vanilla Icing and Vanilla Buttercream All the cupcakes were of average size and were decorated nicely enough. Albeit the cake part on all the cakes were a bit dry. It was difficult to discern a specific flavor on a few, so I've come to the conclusion that garnishing must be their gift. Most of the 'vanilla' flavors, were indistinguishable in flavor from one another, except for the Almond Champagne, which had a cloying almond paste filling, and too much filling to cake ratio. Of particular concern was that the frosting on all seemed to be off in ratios of butter to shortening. I suspect there was an over abundance of shortening in all the cupcakes, which to me, is not palatable, nor is it delicious or anything resembling what a good cupcake should be. They miss the mark in my opinion. Due to the high prices and the fact that the frosting on all the cupcakes was cloying and poorly prepared with what I suspect was too much shortening, and not enough icing sugar, I would likely not buy cupcakes from Little Cakes Kitchen again.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Batter Up Bakery…read more I'm a wedding planner with over a decade of experience, and I have truly seen it all... but this was a first. Due to a major mistake on the venue's end, our couple's wedding cake was served to a different event the day before the wedding. Yes... the entire cake was gone. We were left without a cake for the bride and groom to cut on their wedding day, and with very little time to fix it. Enter Batter Up Bakery... and they absolutely saved the day. From the very first interaction, Samantha at the front counter was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. Selena, the decorator, did an unbelievable job recreating the cake exactly as originally designed. And Jim, the owner who handled delivery, was professional, communicative, and ensured everything arrived perfectly. They stepped in quickly and created a replacement cake that looked identical to what the couple originally ordered. Not only was it visually perfect, but it was also delicious. The entire process was seamless and handled with such care. The most incredible part? The bride had no idea anything had gone wrong until after the wedding. Everything felt flawless, and that is exactly what you hope for as a planner. In all my years in the industry, I have never experienced customer service like this. Batter Up turned what could have been a disaster into a perfect moment. I will be recommending them to every single one of my future couples. Truly phenomenal service, talent, and professionalism.

She was always very accommodating to my fiancé and I since we didn't live in California at the time that we were planning our wedding. We would be in California for only a few dates and could only make it out to Temecula at certain times and Debbie was still able to help us plan it all and provide a cake tasting for us. That tasting was phenomenal and sold us right away! Paying for the creation of cakes was pretty easy! They don't send out reminders if you split out the payments (I did it in two payments) so make sure to pay attention to the dates. The only downside in all of this was trying to reach out to Debbie right before our wedding (to ensure the second payment went through to her and to ensure our cake would be ready and arriving at our venue). When I did get ahold of her, she did not remember me or my order, but assured me it was in her calendar. Luckily, my wedding day of organizer was able to coordinate with her ahead of time and I did not know of this until my rehearsal day. So all in all it worked out and everything was assured! Our cake turned out perfect! Exactly what Debbie and I had spoken about almost a year before. We couldn't have been happier with the moist cake and yummy soft filling and frosting. It was SO good! Can't go wrong with these beautiful and delicious cakes!

The cake was both beautiful and delicious - moist, pillowy, and perfectly balanced. The frosting complimented the cake instead of overpowering it, and our guests loved it so much that there was hardly any left by the end of the night. If we hadn't requested to save the top, we wouldn't have had any to bring home. The extra desserts were just as incredible. The chocolate-covered strawberries were a huge hit for both their flavor and adorable design, and the cheesecake bites disappeared almost instantly. Everything was presented beautifully and it all went fast, which is always a good sign. The tasting process was also a highlight. They were kind and welcoming, and since we went in with a good idea of what we wanted (after reading their info ahead of time), it made the experience easy and enjoyable instead of overwhelming. One tip: book your tasting appointment as early as possible, because those slots fill up quickly. A couple of helpful notes for future couples: a cake stand isn't included, so be sure to add that to your list. And if you're working with them through an all-inclusive venue, you'll need to pay a little extra for the premium flavors - but trust us, they're worth every penny. We couldn't recommend Gruttadauria's more. Their cakes and desserts were an unforgettable part of our wedding, and our guests are still talking about them.
