two tacos on a paper plate

This is one of those hidden gems. We've had tacos here a few times. During avocado festival theh set up outside as a street vendor. Theres a good selection in the store with fresh meats and seafood. The food counter is in the corner where you can order inside or from a counter window on the patio. I love my carnitas tacos. They're very good. My wife had carne asada and a carnitas taco. I tasted her carne asada and it was average ( I make the best). They have a big menu for a small venue. The patio is added value to me. There are six tables with four chairs. Very nice to eat your food and chill. Dog friendly on the patio.

El Toro is a great little market for grocery goods, but it is also a hidden gem for anyone wanting to eat tacos. My husband and I always stop in and order the asada, and pastor tacos, along with mango margaritas! These pastor street tacos are my favorite, super juicy, and they taste so good. There are also pollo and carnitas, and many other menu items to choose from, as well as catering. On this visit we ordered some fresh ceviche and gobbled that down with chips, because we could. Have I mentioned they even have a Taco Tuesday?!?! We drive all the way from Temecula to get them. Do yourself a favor...next time you are craving tacos...take a drive to El Toro Market, and don't forget the margarita!

Ordered the asada nachos and opened it up and it looked amazing. But when I got home and started to eat it it was too soggy to put in the oven to reheat. The reason is because movie theater nacho cheese lined the layer underneath the asada, shredded cheese and sour cream. Completely ruined the whole thing. It never occurred to me to ask about the kind of cheese being used, this is the first time I've come across this issue. It was completely inedible and wound up being a waste of money and waste of time. So disappointed. They do street tacos really really well, absolutely delicious but I don't think I'll be ordering anything else off the menu and that's a shame because the meat is delicious.

We've passed this market many times and just noticed an outdoor eating. So since the first line above, I've visited this location again. Just now catching up with reviews! So this last time we visited we took advantage of their Taco Saturday Special, 50 cents for little tacos. Which was perfect after we had our meal, and still a little hungry afterwards. We each had the pork, beef, and chicken tacos. They hit the spot! They were very fresh, I hope its always like that. The little eating area is quite noisy since you are eating adjacent to a main, and busy road. But it is nice if you wish to be out in the open and don't mind inhaling some gas fumes. The food is good and the amount you get for the money is fair. I am pretty sure we will be visiting again for a bite. It is connected to the actual market. There is a variety of cut meats and other eccentric parts of chicken, beef and pork to please everyones home cooking.

I always grab a Mexican Coca Cola as it has pure sugar cane and get their Carne Asada tacos or tortas and it's life changing honestly!

As a kid I didn't like going here because I didn't think it was as "nice" as Lucky's (aka Albertson's)...how wrong I was!!! Major Market is so much better than Albertsons by a long shot. The produce is better, the hot food is better, and they have a lot of niche/local baked goods that you can't find in most mainstream grocery stores. Not only that but the prices are not too bad, especially for an independent grocery. Unfortunately the last time I visited here, I didn't see that many people. My mom told me that less people have been shopping here and are opting for the Grocery Outlet down the street. As much as I love Grocery Outlet, that makes me sad. Honestly if I lived in Fallbrook, I'd try to come to Major Market more! Love this place!

Every time I've seen her since I can remember she always carries a bitter and sad face. And I had the displeasure of now interacting with her.yikes! I've returned items at other local stores like Albertsons and North Gate without a problem and without receipt as well. Its only $10 dollars and they made a big deal out of it. I am very committed to not shopping at Major Market ever again! That's my last $10 they get from me.

The 395 had jalapeños I had to remove those but left some for my husband and he absolutely loved it. I still love the sandwich. The bread was delicious. My avocado was fresh. There was lots of meat and a thick slice of delicious cheese when I got home I added my own mayo and mustard, but they do come with packets, which has been used . These are giant sandwiches so you can actually share. we often use this market when we are making something and need some celery, some cilantro, some onion something that we just need and don't need to go to a giant grocery store for. Overall, there is a good selection and with weekly coupons there are a lot of good deals to be found. Their buy six bottles of wine is a really good deal. Recently I had an issue with an Amazon gift card I purchased here. It seems the issue is with the gift cards from Amazon, which when you scratch off the back, the middle numbers are missing. One of the cashiers told me they have recently had this happen often. It was a real hassle getting my money credited back. I hope Ralph's pulls the cards and returns them to Amazon. Just beware if you buy gift cards for Christmas gifts--your gift recipient may not be able to use the card.
