This is my go to meetup motorcycle spot for my group, if we're headed to the desert from North County. Tons of gas pumps and plenty of nibbles to choose from. From deli counter, refrigerated/ frozen meals (microwave available to zap food) along with boxed foods. Staff has always been friendly and inviting. There's no ATM inside the mini mart, but, a Wells Fargo ATM in the parking lot. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Interstate 15 is 7 miles from here. Usually I stop at Daniel's for a restroom break and to pick up snacks, but I wasn't the driver on this desert trip so we came here. Actually, we made two stops... one on the way, and one while we headed home. Both trips, the women's restroom was surprisingly clean and well-maintained. On the way there, I picked up snacks and energy drinks and they were pricey... but they carry an orange-juice beef jerky that reminded me of the Chinese fruit jerkies I grew up with. Gas was expensive (though not by SD and Riverside County prices) compared to the station at the foothill of Valley View Casino... I thought it would be on par with that place before arriving. On the way home, we shared a Boar's Head sandwich combo. The bread was fresh even at night, and the sandwich full of meat. There was plenty of space for us to park away from the action at the gas station. Overall, a worthy stop for desert trips. It was my first time ordering sandwiches here. I was pleasantly surprised by how much food is offered here. If you want to buy meat by the lb. or just get some sandwiches you can. The cost of the food is reasonably priced and it's made fresh to order. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You also have a variety of choices of chips, sodas, beer , candy, or whatever to your cravings may be. My overall score at this Pala Mart is a 4.5 star. --Atmosphere, Service & Parking-- Attached to a gas station, this mart has a good range of items as one can expect. It's a decent size, clean, with a little eatery (deli) inside. Besides the various stores in any of the casinos nearby or random stores around, I think this would be a good place to pick up anything you may need. There's some spots in front of the place to park in, and if you're getting gas, you can quickly pop in to purchase stuff. ---Food, Drinks, & Prices--- The deli inside features breakfast sandwiches and the like, as well as lunch stuff. The mart itself features all the usual suspects like candies/chocolates, chips, sodas, various drinks (not sure about alcohol), other snacks and more at the store. They do sell some produce such as different fruits and veggies, milk, eggs, cheese, various sandwiches, salads, and more. Trying to plan my road trip... called to ask what gas prices were and I was told they can't give me that information over the phone. Their price is not listed in Gas Buddy either. Guess I'll be taking the other route. They lost out on gas sales for 2 trucks a boat and RV and a ton of road snack sales because of that stupid rule. This is another little market that is doing a great job from the decent quality gas to the selection of food. From the outside this gas station may look like a regular gas station but once you get inside you will see that its not like most gas stations. I have no problems coming here to buy whatever including alcohol because it's for sure cheaper here versus the casino. read more

Actually stopped here without going to the casino as a side trip! Now that's self-control! It was about 10:30 at night and we were heading back from Orange County after losing our money at other casino's so that may have been our motivation. Anyway, we just needed something to drink for the trip and this place delivered. We only picked up a bottle of water and a Cherry Slushie/Icie. The places was amazingly clean for a 24 hour convenience store. In fact, they were sweeping when we arrived. They people working were friendly and efficient. Prices were inline with what you'd expect. The quick service restaurant was closed when we were there so it actually looked closed on the outside. Partially because the windows are tinted, but don't let they fool you, they're open. Now that we've found this place, we just might make it our regular one last stop before heading home for the night. read more

So I have been going to the Pala Casino for the past 3 years and some how I always have a problem with the people in the mini mart. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I am a good Michigan girl, where I come from we don't disrespect our customers. I'm only writing this review in hopes that a manager sees and reevaluate their staff. Stopped here for pizza today while at the dirt track. Worst pizza I've had in many years! Do yourself a MAJOR SOLID and go to DJ's Pizza by the mission. DJ's has awesome pizza!
