We sat down and were brought chips and salsa; then we ordered two tortas and our drinks. Drinks were sent to us within seconds and the tortas were on the table in less than 10 min after we ordered them! Their salsa bar was small but had the essentials. We really enjoyed the food we had and how quickly everything was done since we were on a time crunch. The price was very reasonable for the food we had; we spent less than $25 after tip for 2 entrees and 2 drinks and even took a bit home for our pet. The portions are also reasonable. Their parking was good. Their restaurant was clean and I was happy with the music choice. Overall, 10/10! We will definitely be back

Everything was incredible and the service was even better. The place isn't fancy, but it doesn't have to be, it looks like it literally hasn't changed since the mid 90s and usually that is the sign of a great place to eat when it comes to authentic taquerias. Next time we are in Lexington this is where we'll eat, again. PS there are wicked good homemade refrigerated table hot sauces. The Habanero is straight fire.

I'd say barbacoa and lingua were my top 2 because of the immense flavor. I will warn you that after eating this food be prepared to feel a bit sluggish. Got a small cabeza burrito also and was good but would recommend using a different meat than what I chose because it gets lost in the fixings. Also, the tacos had too much cilantro but I just took what I wanted off. This spot reminds me of the taco stands on side of the road in California. I wish they had a few more sauces to choose from

Food is really quite good- best Mexican food in Paris for sure and hard to think of where in Lexington you get better. Nothing tastes like it's out of can or microwaved from Sysco. The staff is great - given the age ranges, I'm guessing it's family owned and operated. Booths and tables are comfortable. The space is really nice-not at all what you think of as a typical Mexican restaurant. Really recommend you try them.

Green beef burrito was great- beef was a cut above most Mexican places. Rice is excellent and even beans ( I'm not generally a fan of refried beans ) didn't taste like they were microwaved from a can. A lot of staff which keeps the place running smoothly. They are all as nice as could be without being overly friendly. The location was previously a high end equestrian art, book place so the atmosphere is very, very nice. It's one block down from the new (and really nice) Thoroughbred Hotel.

But the a la carte chile rellano I ordered now comes with either beef, chicken or cheese all for the same price! It was a good sized chile, and the a la carte order of rice filled another plate. After eating the salsa and chips, I ate half of the chile and rice with enough leftover for a lunch. Hubby ordered the chicken fajita quesadilla. It was served with rice on a large plate and Hubby said it was good too. The meals were reasonably priced and we had a nice date. We will definitely return and hope for fresher chips next time! UPDATE: The chips were crunchy and delicious tonight! Definitely better than at our last visit. Today I ordered a seafood chile rellano; YUM! Unfortunately the server and I had a miscommunication and I was served a seafood enchilada plate. However once I said that wasn't what I ordered, the plate was whisked away and was shortly replaced with a seafood chile rellano.
