We visited this place for the first time. All we can say is it's our new favorite place to for Mexican cuisine. Let me first say the chef came out to say they do daily specials and you can ask for just about anything with his ingredients. This translates through the food they made. To start - the chips and salsa were great! We kept it simple with our favorite tacos - from cabeza, pastor, and chorizo. We couldn't be happier with this place. The tacos are SPOT ON and the hot sauce is the real deal, nice & spicy, no water down junk like at other local taco shops. Try the MEXICAN COKE it tastes so much better than the US/UK one, I think they use purer ingredients, also the Agua Fresca was tasty. It's simple clean unpretentious classic... The proprietor is incredibly warm and friendly. And the food is fresh delicious and made with love. If you're in town and I have a craving for Mexican food there are two places to go: Casa and here. Casa is higher end, much nicer ambience and costs about 3x. El sabor is remarkably tasty and great value for money if you want to grab for takeout. Either way you can't lose!! Fresh chips are crisp, dry not greasy at all with a hint of salt & sugar. A few inside tables, mostly takeout. Very fast, friendly service. 3 minutes East of downtown on 3rd/Coombsville. Wow!! Great tacos and chicken pozole. Best we've had in Napa!! The suadero tacos are the perfect blend of beef brisket, cheese, onions, and I added avocado to mine. Delish!! The pozole is only served on weekends and is fragrant with lots of hominy. Definitely will be going back regularly!! read more

Stumbled across this gem Saturday afternoon. It is now our favorite, go to for Mexican food in Napa. We both had the Sueadero Burrito, our first time experiencing brisket in a burrito. What a treat for our taste buds. The meat was incredible, cooked to perfection. The roasted Jalapeño was amazing.
