I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye, and when it arrived, the meat was extremely tough. I brought this to their attention, and the manager came over and apologized -- but that was it. No replacement dish was offered, and the item was not removed from the bill. An apology alone does not fix a bad dining experience, especially at this price point. This visit confirmed how far Houston's Aventura has fallen. I live in Aventura, and I constantly hear people talking about how poorly customers are being treated at this location. Based on our experiences, my family and I have decided we will not return. Final thoughts: Houston's Aventura is seriously damaging its reputation. The service and food quality no longer match what this restaurant used to be or what it charges. If you enjoy this style of restaurant, I highly recommend J. Alexander's instead.
