Wonderful service as soon as you enter the door! The food was flavorful, great price for the amount of food they give, and so authentic! They have music playing and wonderful decorations that make this place feel like a cultural hub to enjoy the food and company.

This place is the worst. Flood had mold. They changed the price without notification. Horrible service. They are not true Dominican.

I stopped by after the lunch rush to have a hialeah heat sandwich was the perfect version of typical cuban sandwich with a kick. I loved the touch of spicy in my sandwich. I also had a cafe bom bom that was really good. Loved the condensed milk. The girl who served me was very attentive to me when I visited and helped me with any questions i had; made me feel very welcomed. When i couldn't finish my coffee she packed it up for me in a to go cup.

Was meeting with some friends for an early lunch last week and I suggested this restaurant. The inside is not that big and parking is terrible, but I figured the food would make up for it. Very few tables inside but it was clean and has a counter area where the customer can sit or can sit and wait for their to go order. Not sure what has happened during the past two years but the food wasn't that great this time around. We shared the simple egg sandwich with bacon, and ordered a cafe con leche, the croqueta sampler and some islas canarias croquetas. The simple egg sandwich was unflavorful. The croqueta sampler and islas canarias croquetas were my favorite. Sadly, the cafe con leche didn't even taste like cafe con leche. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed although it was just our table and two more tables she was serving. There was a total of maybe 8 customers. We had to keep asking her for more water and napkins.

We first came to the Miami location on July 27, 2024, and recently had another chance to visit again on February 18, 2026. It looks like the store is now under new management because everything felt totally different -- and much better! We ordered a couple of savory options, including the Smoked Salmon, topped with hollandaise sauce and an egg, and the Jalapeño Maple Chicken & Pancakes (Fuwa Fuwa). Both dishes were very tasty and full of flavor. The balance between sweet and savory was perfect. For dessert, we shared the Matcha Tiramisu Soufflé Pancakes, topped with matcha powder and matcha espresso sauce. As green tea lovers, we have to say the matcha sauce here tasted even better than the other location -- richer, smoother, and more flavorful. We placed our order and waited about 20 minutes, and all the food came out fresh and beautifully presented. I ordered a hot mocha coffee, and my wife ordered the Oreo frappe -- both drinks were delicious and paired perfectly with our meal. The service was very good -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit.

The food is consistently excellent, made with high-quality ingredients and a lot of care, and the menu has something for everyone. The coffee is outstanding, easily some of the best in Miami, and pairs perfectly with their delicious pastries and savory dishes. What really sets Libertino Cafe apart, though, is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Libertino Cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Miami. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's absolutely worth a stop--you can feel the passion behind everything they do. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, on my visit this was counterweighted by a few strikes: first, the music was very loud. Given that this place appears to have cultivated a study/work-friendly environment, this made no sense. Fortunately, I had earplugs on me (and most others in the place had headphones/earphones). Second, pricing: others have noted that the coffee prices are on the high side, and while the ambience justifies it, it felt awkward to be up-charged for a splash of milk (note: they don't have half-and-half) after paying $5+ for a 12-oz americano. Finally, I didn't like the beverage much. They use a bean with a very fruity profile and have treated it with darker roasting style that doesn't seem to complement it. I may give this place another chance when back in the area, but only after trying a few of the other spots around.

The cafe is decorated with colorful artwork and crafts, and has tables that double as game boards. My wife and I stopped in for an iced cafe with lait, and wandered around the adjacent craft stalls inside the complex while we were there. I was also happy that they had jars of Haitian spicy peanut butter for sale, and I've been enjoying that since our visit. You can enter the cafe from the street or from inside the complex... its an informal counter with self-service tables. There is a simple menu with coffee, Hot chocolate, and small bites that regularly change. They were out of the sweet potato bread the day we went, but I understand it's a favorite.
