This little restaurant that seems like a hole in the wall caught my attention by a large BBQ in front.. we tried it. It is nicely decorated. We started by the homemade empanadas. Very good taste and the dough was excellent. Their chimichurri source is also good. When the food came, I was pleasantly surprised. The portions are big with nice presentation. It also had very good taste. Bravo! We did not eat desert as we were stuffed. I did find out that on Saturdays, they have a fire pit where they cook beef ribs and entraña. Will come back to try it. I have been ruined for empanadas! I can't give a full review on food but that's all we ate. The place is super cute and reminder of a small European cafe. Menu in Spanish, but pretty easy to figure out. Pounds of dough batter was being mixed in a mixer attesting to the freshness and deliciousness of the food. So good. read more

I was greeted promptly. The chef suggested the lunch special. which was lomo encebollado it came with a healthy order of delicious Frenn fries. I also had the Russian salad and chicken empanadas.. everything was delicious and fresh. Totally recommend this place for lunch. They also have a TV to watch the soccer games. read more

We ordered a family grill platter, and it was brought to us in less than ten minutes. The meat was lukewarm, the chitterlings were dry and tough, and the sweetbreads were not even worth mentioning -- the meat was cold. I called the waitress over and asked her if the food was pre-cooked, and she responded rudely, implying that if I did not like it, it was my problem. While we were eating, a man who I assume was the owner arrived with a young woman. He glanced at us and kept walking, seemingly more interested in satisfying the young lady's craving for ice cream than attending to the restaurant's customers. I am certain he heard me when I asked the waitress about the meat being pre-cooked, because he was standing less than three feet from my table, yet he clearly did not care. The grill platter is served on a tray that is typically used in kitchens to preserve or keep food warm before it is served, which was highly unprofessional and inappropriate for a restaurant. It was an experience I will not repeat. And the service -- it is not even worth discussing. The woman who served us had absolutely no idea what customer service means. I asked for hot sauce, and she handed me an empty bottle. 04-26-2025 When she served the meat, she brought us a broken plate with the sauce. In my time, such poor service would have gotten me fired immediately. This restaurant is not worth spending money at; the only thing I can recommend are the empanadas. read more

I have been coming to Caminito for years. I even have the number for the lunch specials in my cellphone. They have a great selection of Argentinian food. I normally go for the empanadas... the are delicious and not bad in price $2.50 per unit. The menu every day varies between 10-11 dollars and it includes a drink. The portion are pretty generous so you can always split it with another person. That's what I always do at my work place. I normally ordered to go/pick up and they tend to be very good with the time frame. I totally recommend this place if you want to eat classic Argentinian food. The attention is not impressive... it's very casual so do not expect 100% perfection. read more

This place is family run which makes it a great place to eat. The food is always fresh and extremely flavorful. It is an Argentine focused menu, so they have amazing breakfast and lunch options. Mr Julio, is an amazingly passionate individual, who can cook delicious dishes from his homeland of Argentina. The local is quaint, if you want a quick meal this is your choice. There was this time I met this nice friends at the beach, after we left the beach we decided to gather for a soup or a light snack, one of them recommended Caminito Way, wow wow what a GREAT decision. Nice place, clean and awesome energy. The lady there was so nice, she made us feel like at home. We finally ended up with one of their soups, it is like she said: "it will revive a dead soul", so it was.. The owner came by as well asking if everything was fine, so it tells a lot about the place. After a new look of the place, the attention seems the same. After buying a dozen of pastries ( facturas) I told the lady(Mariana) I counted less than a dozen; she said it was all; so I gave her a tip of $2.5 and left .Once in my car, I confirmed she gave me 11 pastries, so I returned and got the dozen. This is one of the best argentinian rests, that many people comes here from many parts of Dade County because I know some of them coming from Hollywood, Fl. Miami Beach. Friendly staff, all of them. Here comes celebrities, families; you feel like been at home. Is an special place, very nice, clean, neat like in your home.
