Horrible. Never order from here. Waited over an hour and a half and never got my order. Called many times throughout and was ignored. Terrible management. read more

Delicious every time! This is one of those classic places where the food never disappoints We usually order for pickup and the ladies working there are always extremely friendly and have even doubled checked our order a few times before we pick it up since one time they forgot to add the queso frito to our plate. The steak is delicious and very well seasoned, the rice is also really good and of course we have to get queso frito every time to compliment the plantain read more

Service here is always great. Recently tried their ropa vieja and it did not disappoint! Do yourself a favor and stop by this spot, give them a try read more

Fraudulent company. They say they are open all night on Uber eats but they are actually closed. They don't deliver the food, they collect the money and lie about making the delivery. Avoid at all costs. read more

Food is ok. But if you're paying cash they overcharge you. I ordered a chicken soup and a soda and paid 16.50 according to the menu my total should have been 10.50 before taxes. The girl didn't ring up the order, just told me the total and gave me my change. I didn't think much of it, but when I checked the menu online. I realized that she stole from me. I'm not a cheap person and I always tip. But the deception is too much read more

they do not update whether or not the store is open. you order your food, and they keep the money when the order doesn't process untik the next day. I got a 9 dollar refund on a 50 dollar meal. BS. read more

I wish this restaurant was around when I was working at NMB City Hall. A quick but delicious meal can be found at this hidden gem. Though previously located in North Miami, it is now found on West Dixie Highway across the street from the Spanish Monastery. The pan con bistec is sooo good, freshly and quickly made and affordable. I don't know what little spicy pepper sauce that is but maaaan it's amazing. I love me some pepper sauce and I drench the sandwich in it. If you can't handle heat, the sandwich does come dressed with papitas, lettuce and tomatoes. read more

When I am in town visiting, this is my go-to place for a quick breakfast with cuban toast and coffee. It is a shop located on a corner so you have to be mindful for people making quick stops in attempts to get to there parking lot. The restaurant is not very big but offers tables to eat inside or outsider, or you can order your coffee only or coffee and meal to go from the window. In all my years, I have never experienced slow or poor service. There may be a short delay in service if you come during their busiest time of service. read more

La Minuta - #6. 2 eggs. Home fries. Toasted Cuban bread and cafe con leche. - Sandwiches Near Me - Miami, Florida

Good spot very consistent. The lady's that take care of you are super friendly especially when you are a regular. The food is really good just wish the portions were a little bigger. Very chill environment. read more

I came here with six other people. The lady was so confused with our orders, we had to repeat everything like four times. I got a carne asada with moros and sweet plantains. I squeezed so much lime on my plate to try to get some flavor in there. The rice was very very hard, as were the plantains. My mom, as one of her sides got tostones. They gave her two tostones... Two. And they were small. My grandmother asked for soup and the lady said they were out of soup. I later saw her pouring someone soup. The place felt unorganized and dirty. read more

La Minuta - a plate of meat, rice, and vegetables - Sandwiches Near Me - Miami, Florida

This is the only fritanga place around Aventura area, and well it sucks. The food is expensive for what it is and it doesn't even taste good. I was super frustrated at the waste of money on wack food that I was trying to taste for so very long. read more

Ok this place is good for some cheap hispanic food. Especially the sandwiches on the go. Remember you get what you pay for. Cheap price, cheap quality. So cant really complain too much, otherwise I'd go somewhere else. Went today and ordered a pan con bistec (thin-sliced palomilla steak sandwich w lettuce tomatoes, and shoestring crispy fries -for all those not familiar) one of my favorites. Huge complain: Everything the lady touched to make my sandwich was without gloves. EEEGGHH!!! Usually the basic rule is, it doesn't matter with anything getting deep fried, or in the oven, or on the grill. That can somewhat slide. Somewhat! And if you've been to this place you know, its a bit ghetto and dirty. There is no way her hands were sanitary by any stretch of the imagination. And come on, is not like it's an enclosed kitchen where I dont really know whats going on. You are making it right in from of me!!!! I saw her grab the bread, butter it and toast it and grab it back out. Ok. Then she dipped her hand in the lettuce container and diced tomato container and with her dirty fingers put the stuff on my sandwich!!! I really wanted to complain but honestly I didnt feel like having an argument that would probably go nowhere. And a place like this, there's no real manager... she's probably the owner. lol I sucked it up and ate it anyway cus I knew it would be good. So far, no food poisoning. read more

La Minuta - Pan con Bistec - Sandwiches Near Me - Miami, Florida

I only rated a 3 stars because of the horrible service, everything else is fine. I come here everyday for cafe con leche and toastada. I love the food and the coffee is usually to my liking, but if you don't speak Spanish, be prepared to sit and wait while you watch them take care of everyone else who got in line at the window after you. You would think because I'm here EVERYDAY it would make a difference, but absolutely not. It's the same 2 ladies who see me all the time and still can't show me any respect. Not even a Bueno Dias. Lol. And I know writing this is pointless because no one who works here will read it or do anything about it, but I had to say something after 6 months of the same bs. read more

This place is filthy I mean the dirtiest place I have EVER seen !!! I stopped in for a cuban coffee to the window. All the to go containers and cups had dirt covered around the plastic lining. I don't think this place has had a good cleaning ever. read more

Not bad but I'm half Nicaraguan so I know my good fritanga places. Now that I live in Sunny Isles this is the closest Fritanga for me. The food was good but lord have mercy! The lady who took care of us kept messing up. I think she was a little deaf too because I kept telling her things and she wouldn't listen ‍ but she was nice. The cacao was good, carne asada could've have a little more flavor but Gallo pinto was good. The queso frito was huge! I'll give it another try, maybe on my cheat day. read more

Worst worst worst All what a buy. Old shit no fresh one on top ther charge me by 9.50 $ a card fee of 0.50 $. My first and last time me here. Very sad I love Cuban food and I leave 3 blocks away read more

Very warm service, always greeted pleasantly and the food has a nice homemade feel to it. Great prices also.

This place serves up rustic central and south american grub w friendly service in a recently, believe me, renovated seating area. The carne asada w white rice and beans, sweet plantains, and chimichurri for 8 bucks is the go to dish here. don't forget to get a slice of queso frito on the side liberally splashed with their house made hot pepper relish, i think would be the best gringo way to describe it. fresh fruit juices and shakes are great as well and a deal when compared to shinier establishments. good colada and flan, but its no Las Olas. read more

Great Nicaraguan cuisine. This place serves up hearty fare to a blue-collar crowd. Their pork dishes and sandwiches are superb. Ironically, the only bad thing I've ordered at La Minuta is the "La Minuta", - a bland, dry deep fried fish sandwich. The guy behind the counter gave me non-verbal clues that it sucked when I ordered it. Stuff like eye-rolling and vomit pantomimes. But sometimes subtlety skims right over my silly little head. The sofrito here is very good. Sometimes we buy a little bit to take home. The service is fast and friendly. I only drop in on the joint a couple times a year and they always remember me. If my husband goes in alone they ask where I am. I guess I'm the only gringa that goes there. Or it could be that I tend to be provocatively dressed when I roll up to the La Minuta counter. Hey, it's hot in this town. What's a girl to do?? read more

Its the only decent place in the area for some fast latin food. I eat here about once a week bc my office is near by usually stopping in for breakfast. The other day I came and and was charged $7.50 for a breakfast that u can find all over the 305 for about $4.50. The service is ahh subpar. I had for lunch the carne con papa with white rice black beans, it was decent. I should have had the carne asada. 3stars bc I keep coming back. read more

This a little gem hidden in N. Miami. Dont be fooled by its outside appearance...they serve the best grilled chicken and carne asada in miami. The gallo pinto is amazing!!!! Ive been to many nica places and these people by far are the best. They always have fresh food to serve with good taste and good quality. Back in the day the food was not that good but they have defenetly switched it around. read more

Family own Nicaraguan joint that's been In North Miami for along time. Good place to go for lunch. They have pre made food for a quick pick up on you lunch break. I like there Cuban sandwich. What I like about it that they put real roast pork on it and heat the ham and cheese on the griddle. Then they put it all together and then put it on the press. I hate Cuban sandwiches that are cold in the middle! For 7 dollars you will be fat and happy with there pre made food. I like the roast pork and the ox tails. It's all served the your choice of rice and plantains. The beef stew is good as well. They have tables to sit in and a walk up counter. This is a working man lunch stop for a quick bite. read more

A GREAT HOLE IN A WALL! I gave it bc they can make the restaurant look better but i def wont knock their food its good

Went to La Minuta for lunch today. Location is not necessarily appealing, but once inside the restaurant has a homie feeling. Clean and well organize. Somebody was ready to take our order the minute we walk in. I had carne con papas (beef stew with potatoes), gallo pinto and tajadas (rice and beans and fried green plantain). My boyfriend ordered ground beef, gallo pinto and tajadas. And for $2 we also ordered fried cheese. Yummy! Food was tasty. No grease. And portions were huge. read more

Amazing sandwiches made fast, full of flavor. I got the chicken sandwich and was blown away by the marinated flavor.

La Minuta was legendary when my grandparents owned it for 19 years, sadly, the food nor the restaurant will ever be the same.
