Just love their seafood chimichanga. Filled with bay scallops, tiny shrimp and crab. They offer it with cream sauce or Chipotle cream sauce. We've come to this restaurant the last three weeks in a row with a large group, and every single time they've gone above and beyond. They've been able to accommodate us without any issue, fitting us in quickly--we've never waited more than 15 minutes. The service has been consistently excellent: warm, friendly, and attentive. On two separate occasions, they even brought us nachos as a starter without us asking and without charging us, which was such a generous touch. I had such a good experience here! I came in for dinner with my dad, and i'm so glad we did. Ive been in the restaurant industry for years and can recognize incredible service when I see it.... And that's exactly what it was! Fantastic. The young gentleman at the door was so warm and welcoming; he was patient with my dad when most wouldn't have been. I'm so thankful to him for that. Service was slow and the server refused to take drink and food order together even though we were ready - I figured it was because there was a different food server, but no, he came back and took our food order like ten minutes later. The food itself was bland, and two out of four plates were obviously sitting for a while because they weren't hot when brought to our table. Seating was tight and uncomfortable. My girlfriend took me here and wow I was really impressed! First they give you beans and salsa with your free chips... which just makes you feel like you are getting a good deal. The carne Asada had an amazing flavor that I was pretty impressed by! And surprise favorite was the mariscos con chipotle! The flavor was to really impressive and there was a lot of food! What an exciting find in the heart of Everett, just steps from the Angel of the Winds Arena! I am a pretty tough critic when it comes to Mexican food and this place met my needs! I had yet to find a seafood chimichanga worth writing home about but indeed I have found it here! From first greeting through our departure the employees here were friendly, helpful, engaging, and not invasive. The decor was average but they were certain to keep our water glasses and chip bowl full. My friend had the enchiladas while I savored each bite of my chimichanga. We agreed this is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Well worth a trek to Everett, even if you aren't seeing a show or game at the arena! We came here for dinner with some friends. I loved being welcomed with a homemade tortilla at the front door. SO AMAZING!!! The service was ok. She was nice but not personable, no major complaints. The food came out pretty fast and was good. Items were randomly missed, like the float for my Cadillac margarita. We got the plates of food but the tortillas were late. My girls and I stopped into Paraiso after a long night of moving. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Happy Hour is offered in the bar daily from 3pm-6pm then again from 9pm-close. Bar "specials" are an additional $2 when outside of the happy hours. On Monday's, crispy ground beef or chicken tacos are $1 each. The Happy Hour menu is extremely limited. Upon entrance, each person is offered a complimentary (street taco size) hot tortilla rolled with butter and salsa. The tortilla is tasty. The tip jar is distasteful to me. During our visit my girls and I sat in the bar. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the bar. Complimentary chips, salsa and refried beans are provided to snack on while looking over the menu. The chips were warm and the salsa mild. My wife and I each ordered a large Dos Equis for $6.95 and my daughter ordered a bottle of Angry Orchard for $3.25. My wife and I shared the large combination meal for $13.95: two ground beef burritos served with beans and rice. We inhaled our meal. My daughter ordered the small combination meal for $11.95: two ground beef enchiladas, minus the rice with extra beans. She too inhaled her meal. Our server was friendly and efficient. Overall, Paraiso offers meals at lower rates than other Mexican restaurants. Paraiso's food is average. Admittedly, the Silver Lake Paraiso is my favorite if I had to choose Paraiso to dine at. read more

I have been to this restaurant about 4-5 times now, and I keep coming back. The service is always attentive, the food is delicious and fresh tasting, the prices are acceptable and you leave full and satisfied. We usually come here after shopping in the area. We enjoy the Chicken Flautas, Steak Fajitas, and the Arroz Con Pollo. We have not tried much else as we cant seem to move on from these delicious entrees to try something new. If you are expecting an authentic experience from Mexico then this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a great place to eat Mexican that is traditionally served in America, then this is the spot for you. read more

We've been here before. Nice Mexican Restsurant in downtown Everett. I base my liking for Mexican restaurants on the refried beans. They serve tortilla chips with salsa and a bean dip. The bean dip was delicious! The salsa was a tad too spicy, but good. Husband ordered the vegetarian enchiladas. He killed it! Ate nearly every bite! I on the other hand wasn't quite as hungry so I ordered a side fish taco and a side of refried beans. The fish was a bit bland. It was chunks of a fried white fish. It could have used a bit more seasoning. The refried beans are usually good. This too needed more seasoning. I did bring it home and heated it up the next day and it was perfectly fine. We ate outside under the awning & umbrellas. It was a pleasant evening. Staff were very friendly and efficient. They were all masked up. Inside I don't think the booths were socially distant, but since the booths look pretty stationary. There were no tables in the center isle and as I recall, there used to be tables there pre-Covid. The bar was closed though. We always return were we are in the area. I hope to give them another star next time. I suppose we all have an off day. read more

My boyfriend and I had gone to the Funko HQ while we were in Seattle for a few days and this spot was just a block away from there. We were starving so decided to go here and were so pleasantly surprised. EVERYTHING here was great. From service to food to drinks. As soon as you get seated, they being over chips, salsa and refried beans dip which is extremely flavorful and authentic. (My boyfriend is Latino and he gave this place a 5 star!) We got some chicken tacos and a burrito and they were both 10/10. I was exceptionally happy with the tacos. But mind you, it's a big plate!! Also, their mango lemonade was a 20/10!
