We went on a Saturday at 3pm, $12/person + tax is worth the crowd and the corner table. Like all buffets, some food is good and some bad, most of the latin American food were tasty, skipped the chinese/American section food as they were run of the mill items found anywhere. My advice skip the Chinese/American section and concentrate on the others. First off, no one explained how serving worked, we had to ask 2 different people where plates were before understanding that you had to ask a server. Employees served the food, but trying to communicate what I wanted was a mission because nothing was labeled. And when I asked what something was they didn't even know. Went today, December 10th 2016, for the first time and not only the food was amazing but the service was even better. It was around 7:30 pm and it was so packed that the waiting line to be seated was out the door. But even that it was so full Dulce gave us a 5 star service. Not always you see a waitress so helpful, dedicated and very concerned that her customers were very well served. You can even see that she truly enjoys her job. (8/25/2017) Came for lunch during a weekday, there was a small line at the door to pay. Hysterically, so obviously previously an Asian buffet, they still had the "enamelware" made of plastic and the Chinese character embossed tables in red. The menu is billed as Latin/Asian. Essentially a hot row of each and one of cold salads. I couldn't help it, went down the one row of all fried things, got all sorts of empanadas, the yuca roll stuffed with beef, sweet masa with cheese, pizza empanada and of course, the Asian fried things, crab rangoon, doughnuts, vegetable egg rolls (do not get these, very raw and doughy). Most roasted meats were rather dry and chewy. The deep-fried pork belly cubes (chicharron) looked beautiful, but were very hard and the meat very tough and chewy, as was the pollo asado. Stewed and braised meats in juices fared better, but also very salty, like the braised ribs, oxtails, and goat. Love the variety of offerings, but it is still a buffet and like most, the food suffers from prolonged exposure and heat. There's a smattering of sushi offerings, but I'm skeeved out by sushi on a buffet and a Mongolian wok (teppanyaki) station (also, raw meats and veg sitting out together does not scream food safety to me in any place, not just this one). $8.99 is a heck of a deal for so much food, most of it was OK, most interesting for the novelty. read more

So disappointed at this place. I love Spanish food. But this was not it. I understand that with Covid everything changes but manners are always supposed to be around. The place is not following distancing guidelines at all you feel trapped either when getting your food or sitting at the table. Not comfortable at all. While going to the Florida mall I saw El Palacio Buffet and had to go to Yelp and see what it was all about. It caught my attention because of the Spanish name El Palacio I said to my BF do you think is a Latin buffet if so we must go and try it out. Got on Yelp saw the reviews and the picture and we had to try it out. Let me warn you it can get packed I compared it to Golden Corral but with Latin food yummy yummy. The price was decent 10 something for dinner including a drink. They also have alcoholic beverages. As soon as you pay you have to wait for someone to seat you down at an empty table. They have Chinese cousine and on the other side Spanish from rice, beans soup all kinds of meat just perfect. I had a little bit of everything. I will definitely go back next year read more

After being recommended by a friend we finally gave this place a try & we were happy we did! They have Chinese & Spanish food, the Spanish food was very authentic & tasted homemade. All the meats were tender & sauces were flavorful without being salty. The waitress didn't speak much English but she was a sweetheart! Poor, Poor ,dishonest person at the cashier checkout. This is not the first time this older Hispanic male has tried to cheat a customer by trying to charge them more than the scale weights in. I was there tonight(Sunday). I placed the take out on the scale and it clearly read$8.48. This older cashier Male, moved the take out box, shifting the weight to read $10.70. I complained and he kept moving the take out box until the amount read $12. I continued to protest anx he said well you have all meat but that should not make any difference. There was only 4 pieces of meat in the box. He was dishoust by moving the box. Also the weighing machine was fixed to increase the costs. This is robbery of a customer. I am going to report this resturant to the State of Florida for unfair practices. read more

I really like this place. I don't speak Spanish and I thought ordering here was going to be a little complicated but it wasn't. the servers made it easy on me. They gave me so much food I had leftovers. They had a passionfruit juice that was fresh and it was amazing. A group of us had a holiday lunch here last Tuesday. The waitress did not speak English and it was useless that ask anything except what we wanted to drink. The place was dirty feeling and unsanitary smelling. There were stains on The ceilings and the place unkempt in general. The food was okay. It looked like a lot but when it came down to it not so much when trays were filled with condiments instead of options like cilantro in 1 whole tray. One for tomatoes only etc. The desserts were stale and sparce. We went based on its ratings and comments but found they were not accurate. You pay as you go in which I find tacky and then the waitress asks everyone for their receipts again before you can eat like criminals trying to get a free meal. I decided to take a gamble last night and I'm happy that I did. Whoever thought of making a spanish food buffet is a genius. There is a nice variety of foods and desserts. They also have a small section with sushi and Chinese food. The food tasted great and the buffet is only $7.99. I definitely will be going back. Parking lot was PACKED indicating good food and good price and it did not disappoint. They had absolutely everything I could think of to satisfy a Latin food craving ~ EVERYTHING.
