I haven't reviewed a restaurant in a while. I feel this should be told, the food was not clearly labeled. My co-worker took some food that was labeled garlic mashed potatoes. In fact it was crab meat with cheese. She is allergic to sea food. This was not clearly labeled. Which could cost her, her life. She made it known to staff they, clearly just said oh it wasn't made clear! No apology nothing just kept as nothing never happened. The staff needs to be trained ASAP!!!

Service was kind and food was cheap for a buffet. That's where the good stops though... Food was not good and mostly was not fresh at all. Some items were tasty but a vast majority was questionable to say the least. Would not come here again unfortunately. They also charge you in advance including tip, though how are we to tip prior to receiving service? The ambiance wasn't the best but I could have gotten past that had it been good food but this is not the case for Palacio Buffet.

One star is too much!!! This place is so expensive, I have a 7 yr old daughter who didn't even eat much and was charged adult price for her. Ridiculous. Not only was it expensive, the food was bad it looked old and dry as if it had been out all day. I spent $50 to not even eat one whole plate. HORRIBLE experience. BUT IT GETS WORSE... there was a fly in the jello see pic and video for reference. This place is disgusting do not go eat here unless you like nasty food. This place should be CLOSED PERMANENTLY. I felt nauseous leaving this dump.

The food is disgusting don't recommend this place even to my worse enemy, it's cold, old and greasy, don't go there, otherwise you will get sick as I am right now vomiting and with stomach aches, I came with my 10 years old son, but when I was eating the first plate my stomach started hurting so bad and wanted to puke, so I told my son to don't eat it anymore but he was eating his soup , not good at all. also in the screen tv say is $16.99 for dinner but it charge me $39.94 (for me and my 10years old child) please pick another place to eat than the palacio buffet..

Pot Stickers we're ok. Nothing great

El Palicio (The Palace) is a fitting name because after eating here, you may be sitting on El Trono (The Throne). I went on a Saturday and paid way too much for this garbage. The price included a soft drink. PRO (yes, just one): - The Hibachi was good (Just had chicken and shrimp), but there weren't really a lot of flavor choices. It was piping hot though. CONS: Nothing else was hot! Every single "hot" item I got from the buffet was warm to lukewarm at best. Some was actually cold (and I'm not talking about the ceviche) Service was lacking, and not for a shortage of servers. The Hibachi "Chef" seemed annoyed with me picking my ingredients, then after explaining what I wanted, he pointed to another guy then left the station and the other guy cooked my food. Empanadas were mostly empty, unless air is an ingredient. That plastic glove they give you when you pay at the beginning. Really? I've seen other places where you get a new glove each time. How is taking this thing off and putting it back on helping anything? -------- I love a good buffet (RIP Giant Panda), but this was everything that give buffets a bad name. Bon Jovi should write a song about it. I went to Ikea afterwards and ended up running to the bathroom (which isn't an easy thing to do in an Ikea) Would I go back? Yes, if I was constipated, but that's about it.

Service - Well, if you're going to play your live music over 100 decibels, you'd best pay attention to folks when they're ordering (Here's a tip, pencil and paper would be really useful). It's a digital menu. If I pull up the one page for that specific item, that's what I'm ordering. We ordered the Tamanaco platter ($174.40) and asked the waitress for help with some substitutions as we were new to Venezuelan cuisine. She never mentioned extra charges, yet the final bill came to $386.00. They charged us for the new items individually by switching our order from the Tamanaco platter to the Barinas platter which it cost $210.88 without ever mentioning or explaining it . Beyond the bill, the service was non-existent. No water was brought to the table, and the waitress didn't return until it was time for the check. Despite the website advertising live music, there was none at 4:30 PM, and my wife had to ask twice just to get a happy birthday song. We don't mind spending money on a good meal, but this felt like a total rip-off. Save your money and go somewhere that values its customers.

For unbeatable pricing, the food we got as incredibly well-seasoned and well portioned. I recommend any of the ethnic dishes as my group tried about half of what was on display and they all tasted great. We ate two plates there and also took food to go. The oxtail was cooked exactly as it should be where the collagen is nice and chewy, with meat falling off the bone. All the meat we tried was moist and tender. For $4 you can get hefty empanadas and we tried and loved the chicken, beef and cheese filled ones. The tamale was also delicious. The food looked like it was made with wholesome ingredients and care. The cortadito was nice and strong - incredibly efficient for a small shot as we woke up after eating all that food. They serve a variety of drink flavors like guayabano and mamey. I got a mamey smoothie and enjoyed the creamy almost melon-like but novel flavor for me. For novelty, value, and delicious cultural cuisine, this place etched a core memory in that we paid more at whole foods and got more thrill from the flavorful experience at Papazzito Coffee Bar.

Matcha has officially exploded in the United States, and Saikō has clearly tapped into that culture. They have a really fun menu with creative combinations that go way beyond a basic matcha latte, but what really caught my attention was the Hojicha. I'm calling it now: Matcha was the beginning. Hojicha is coming next. Hojicha is roasted Japanese green tea, and it has a completely different flavor profile from matcha. It's smooth, earthy, nutty and almost toasted, without that grassy quality some people associate with matcha. The one I had at Saikō was absolutely delicious. I also love that they're not treating Japanese tea like a trend that needs to be watered down for everyone. There's some real creativity happening with the flavors and combinations, and the menu is interesting enough that I'd want to come back and work my way through it. The location is definitely unconventional, but there's something kind of cool about watching people play pickleball while you're sitting there drinking Japanese tea. Saikō is one of those places where you can say you discovered it before everyone else did. IYKYK.
