See this why those tic toc and IG reviews be pissing me off...they over hype everything. I have learned real reviews are here on YELP. So I went here with a friend for lunch of course because of the hype. I personally was not impressed. I personally do not have an issue with the interior because it is a "chinos" in the BX. I personally did not care how serivice would be because again its a "chinos" in the Bx. However the customer was very good but did not go looking for it. The food was simply ok. My friend got pepper steak that was very salty. And I did a hood classic; fried chicken wings and house friend rice. My chicken taste like any other chicken from a local chinos. But the rice was really good. I also found to be a little over priced. 2 meals with tip was $50, House fried rice with chicken wings and pork fried rice with pepper steak with a can coke and can ginger ale. I would go back for rice alone but nothing to go out my way for.

The food was amazing. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, pork fried rice, egg roll and pork chops. All the food was oh so tasty . The food taste so special. I love the atmosphere. Tables where you can sit and a counter space. Nice and friendly staff. Low conversations being had . It was a chill vibe. Nice variety of food. A fresh lobster tank there also. Which is cool. I will gladly be back to try other food options.

Every trip back home requires a visit to old faithful El Pabellon. This restaurant has been here for over 30 years. Same place, same family owned. They serve the absolute, in our humble opinion, the best house special lo mein we've ever tasted. I mean this thing is sooo good. Flavorful, smoky, chock full of big chunks of chicken, steak and cooked just right shrimp. The large is large, no small portions here. The place looks the same. Big seating area. And take heed, CASH ONLY. Before, if you forgot, you had to dip across the street to the bank but there is now an ATM. The prices have gone up, but gradual not crazy. Small $12 and Large $21. When I was here in June 2024, it was $20. Parking is metered. Double park at your own risk.

Not our first time here! Love the service and the fast hot food! Hubby got a juicy steak and I had general Tso chicken.. all super yummy!! I had some wine also, they come in these cute single serving cans I can't wait to go back!

I ordered on phone & picked up order. Order was ready when I arrived. Reminder, cash only. Shrimp fried rice was great.

Authentic old school Chinese food with Latin flavors, i bought a chicken and broccoli with chicken fry rice and 4 chicken wings, the flavor was amazing. I will recommend to give them a try. The service was cool, the dudes behind the counter greeted me, took my order and within 10/15 mins my food was out. The style of the restaurant was cool, they had good seating and a live tank with lobster, what Chinese spit you know had that, but again it's Latin infuse, so i guess. Overall the food was good, the place was an old school gem, if I had to recommend anything to the owners, a little renovation goes a long way, may increase business.

Old school Cuban Chinese as good as it was 10 years ago. Every meal here is awesome and top three dishes for me are 1. Bistec palomilla with house fried rice 2. Stuffed clams are insane 3. Wow to the Cuban coffee. Other recommendations. The pork chops Shrimp Lo mein Stuffed lobster

Food is always on point! I ordered a #8 beef steak(hold the onions) w/ shrimp fried rice(instead of the pork it comes w/.Ambiance is family-oriented. I love the toasted bread & butter they give before the food. Service is ok. Those waiters have been working in this restaurant for 20+ years. It's kind of hard getting a smile out of them. Will be back for the food of course!!

Been coming here for years since I was a kid at their other location that closed down by Morrison Av. Now that I've moved to CT, it's always a treat to come here now and then. The staff here speak multiple languages. Their wooden bowls generates feelings of nostalgia. I always get the steak and onions with rice and plátano maduros (sweet plantains). No other fusion spot can compare!

I've only gone to Chinese Spanish restaurants in Queens and Brooklyn and this location is definitely on my recommended list! I loved the food and the service was superb! The waiters were fast and friendly. One thing I didn't really like was the fact that it's cash only & they don't serve cocktails/frozen drinks like other Chinese Spanish restaurants that I've gone to in Queens & BK. We were served in good timing and my boyfriend and stepson loved their ice tea! I def liked how the food wasn't greasy and filled me up! I will definitely be coming back here. I also was starving so the food tasted amazing! The ambiance and atmosphere is pretty chill. You can calmly eat your meal and drink without anyone bothering you. Just know that you will be treated well and served good food!

We ordered the appetizer wings (approx 7 wingettes) They were deliciously crunchy with a delicious mango sauce. My daughter ordered the skirt steak. It was bland. I ordered the red snapper $42, very bland. I paid to try the mango sauce and chilli sauce neither helped. The rice and tostones were good. The Alchemist drink was a nice experience and flavorful. Overall the appetizers and drinks were great everything else not so good.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. From the moment we walked in, the experience was…read moredisappointing. There was no host or hostess present to greet us or manage seating. We stood there confused, eventually trying to find a table ourselves. Since no one was assisting us and there were no open tables available, we sat at the bar. My friend continued waiting and trying to secure a table, but there was no communication from staff. To make matters worse, another group arrived after us and was seated before us. They mentioned they had been there before, and it felt like they were given priority while we were overlooked, despite waiting longer. Service at the bar was equally frustrating. The bartender was inattentive and focused only on certain sections. It took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get a simple glass of wine. We had to repeat our orders multiple times, which should have been a red flag. The appetizer, Korean wings, arrived quickly and was probably the only positive part of the evening. After that, everything went downhill. Our entrees took an extremely long time to arrive. It felt like nearly two hours. When the food finally came out, one of my friends did not receive her meal at all because the bartender forgot to put in her order. This was especially frustrating since we had repeated the order several times. When her dish, the pad Thai, finally arrived about 30 minutes later, it was mediocre at best and slightly cold. The steaks ordered by two of us were dry and under-seasoned. The vegetables were overcooked and bland. Overall, the food quality did not justify the long wait or the price. The bathrooms were another major issue. There was toilet paper on the floor and even period blood visible on the ground. It was unsanitary and honestly shocking. Cleanliness is the bare minimum for any establishment. The final bill came to $245, including an automatic $34 gratuity at the bar. Considering the service we received, this felt completely undeserved. There was no acknowledgment of the forgotten order and no attempt to make things right. As a final note, be cautious if you're wearing delicate or expensive clothing. The bar counter area has rough edges, and one of my friend's jerseys was snagged while we were sitting there. This was my first time here, and it will absolutely be my last. Between the poor service, mediocre food, lack of cleanliness, and high prices, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Was contemplating walking in here for some time and happy to say that I am pleased not disappointed with the food or service. The Salmon roll with avocado & sweet plantains, Chicken Chow Fan & Coconut Mojito were all delicious. The smell of hookah coals being lit is very unappealing while trying to eat. They do charge 18% gratuity automatically and while the $8 happy hour margaritas were not bad they charged us $12 for two (not very cool in my opinion when we are only one of two parties there during happy hour). The calamari was almost too chewy to be good- but the seasoning and sauce saved it. The waitresses were excellent and seem to only speak Spanish- but I was able to get by with what I know to say. This is close to where my family lives and not far from where I grew up so it's nice to see new places- I would just come for drinks and hookah in the future though.
