The employee was great! She was friendly when I walked in. I went in at 10pm. She was busy at work and let me know she would help me out in a moment. I felt bad bc it seemed like it was a busy night. She took my order and let me know it would be a bit of a wait. I told her it was okay I was willing to wait. I ordered 2 esquites, gummies, and hot Cheetos. After she finished the order before mine she knocked my order out quickly. The food was bomb, the gummies were good too! They definitely need more people on the weekends to help with the busy time, that's why I didn't give them the 5 stars. But usually munchies is my go to for late night snacks that are actually bomb. read more

This place is literally THE BOMB. I come here every time I'm in Glendale. I always get the esquite and no exaggeration, it's the best than anywhere I've been. The place is small but don't let it fool you, the flavors don't lie. read more

Stoner's heaven, especially since they open till 2am. We have tried a few of the menu items and there are our favorites Breakfast waffle Dessert waffle Elote on a stick Elote with the works The pinwheels Mexican PEPSI, yes Pepsi & Coke -we are a family divided Fresh fruit with the works And of course our son favorite- Thrifty ice cream & with so many more delicious menu options. It definitely saves us from having to drive to ELOS Mexican Mercado- which we did just to get our raspado fix. Thank you El Munchies for existing for this Mexican girl living in Glendale. read more

i'm not too hard to please when it comes to food but everything was too expensive and lack of seasoning and spiciness.

We finally tried El Munchies. My daughter has been wanting to try their esquites. Located on busy Colorado Blvd. in Glendale so it's an added plus that they have a parking lot. It's a small place so we placed our order and waited patiently outside. Took a bit long for our order of esquites and churros but well worth it. Staff brought our order out to us and thanked us for waiting. We'll definitely go back. read more

I got the Dubai chocolate from this place wow tasted horrible and the prices are insane hahahaha just don't waste your money on this place.

Extremely disappointed with my order this evening. Where to even begin...yes I ordered through doordash but it's not hard to see what someone orders and then make that particular item or items. We ordered the churros locos with ice cream and chocolate and instead we got a tiny piece of some cheesecake tasting cake and some strawberry ice cream. We also ordered fresas con crema now nowhere did the description say it included bananas (I'm allergic to bananas and took a bite realized there was bananas in it and instantly started having an allergic reaction) Lastly we asked for the chips and corn to please pack the chips separately to avoid them getting soggy during delivery (it arrived as expected soggy) We contacted doordash and they refunded our money since only one of us could eat their food the rest was thrown away due to allergies. To the owner please make sure your employees are reading what your delivery apps are saying a customer wants. We ordered what we knew we could have and sadly it missed the mark tonight. read more

Came in 5:18pm the door was open. Then we were immediately told in a rude manner by a lady with tattoos that they don't open until 5:30pm. So we left. We returned after the opening time and ordered wheels which she flatly responded, "Those are down there" This was my first time buying these and did not know there was regular and spicy. Would have been good to know but it's also my fault for not looking. Then ordered a escites (cup of corn) with cheese, butter, mayo. It came with lemon/lime. Didn't like it. Just wasn't a pleasant experience. The Chamoy Gummy worms were delicious. Also the place smelled like strong cleaner. Probably won't be coming back. read more

Came in on a wednesday night looking for some dessert after dinner and came across their dessert shop, munchies. Their ice scream sandwich and vanilla wafer was amazing and affordable. Shoutout to Lola who works there, very nice! Definitely recommend stopping by and trying out their desserts. They also have a variety of items, which is great. read more

wish they had the flavors of the ice cream on the menu- walked in because they had Thrifty ice cream sign on the window and we asked for the flavors 3 times. They only had 1 employee and she was very busy trying to catch up on work. Tried the paletas because we felt was the safest option inside. This place is pricy so make sure to look around the menu before ordering! read more

Visited this past weekend, as I was excited to show a group of friends this spot. We show up, and the rude female worker held the door closed saying they were closed. It was 11pm and closing time was 1am. The younger Armenian gentleman looked at her confused and lost, and then told us he'd help us out. Hats off to him for following correct business hours. Also note within the 10 minutes of being there, she turned down about 3/4 different groups that has taken the time to drive over, and showed her the hours listed online as well. Business will continue to lose sales and returning customers this way. read more

Not sure who in their right mind would give this place anything but a 1 star. Service was horrid. Everything was expensive. And nothing tasted good. Munchies is for folks who are high and have zero options cause everything in Glendale closes early. So when you're stuck between a rock and munchies I guess the latter seems appealing. I would never give them my business again. read more

I only ever order my tostilocos here but man the last three have all been wrong ! Maybe ordering through DoorDash isn't any good anymore ? First I didn't get any peanuts, then second wrong order there's no jicama or candy, now my order today there's no cueritos! I'm not sure maybe there's low items when I order but damn let the customer know if that's the case lol still good but maybe I'll just go inside when I'm craving these ! read more

Saw this place on Instagram so I had to try it. I ordered the elote and it was amazing ($6) and my brother ordered the esquite ($7). So simple but delicious. The menu has an array of things that don't match up but, that's what makes them special lol. read more

Tried El Munchies this past weekend and it was just okay, place is a bit pricey from your normal cart sellers but I do like that they close late, so if you ever need your fix on a mexican snack, this place is it. Tried their esquite and it was okay, a whole lot of cheese, you get more corn from the esquite then you do on getting a elote as per a little birdie said. They have aguas frescas but only one size, you get more quantity and tasty aguas somewhere else. Had their: hot cheetos with cheese, it was okay Tostelocos were okay Esquite was fine. Glad they delivery through three different delivery systems, I will be stopping in again in the future. read more

My go to place when I have the munchies ;) their Esquite and gummies are sooooo good. Service is always on point!

Love the idea of this place but customer service is poor. They handled all online orders grub hub and Uber eats before letting people in line order. Also, they tend to forget to wear gloves and one guy kept lifting his cap to fix his hair and proceeded to fix drinks. The chips with nacho cheese i ordered was COLD! I don't know why I had to wait 20 mins to order and 20 mins to get my food. There were only 4 people inside. I had a very simple order -one icecream cookie sandwich -one esquite and one bag of chips with cheese read more

My friends and I were looking for a late night dessert spot. And we happen to find El Munchies. We were surprised to find how many places were closing so early. As soon as we walked into the door, we were greeted and welcomed. They have a good selection to choose from so my friends and I were having a hard choosing. But the gentlemen at the counter gave us suggestions and answered all our questions. Their candy counter even had some candy that I used to eat in middle school and high school so it was so nostalgic. It was a nice blast from the past. I got the vanilla wafer but they customize it. So they asked which cookies and ice cream I wanted. I got soft chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. It was a lot but so good! My friends got the churros loco and an ice cream sandwich. They said both of their desserts were good too. read more

Spanks was the maaannn!!!! Love this place, great employees and great menu items. Spanks , love ya.

Such a great vibe with amazing food! Shoutout to Spanks, a great guy all around who made our evening :))

This is my FAVORITE PLACE TO GET FOOD. omg. When I am sad or having a hard day at work, I would go here afterwards and get the corn and chips with hot cheetos and let me tell you- this place is so amazing and unique. I moved from LA and cant find a place like it. I make sure to stop by every time i am in town! Service is fast and the employees are super chill. read more

Hubby & I went out for a late snack Friday night and checked this place out. Parking is a bit of a challenge but worth the wait. Big portions and the two guys serving are super nice and friendly. Will definitely be back to try out other stuff they have. We tried their banana split and churros locos... very, very good! I even forgot to take pictures coz we started digging in once we got it and pretty much finished it right away. Check them out for yourself. read more

Very disappointed with this. I ordered a few items so I can try some of my favorites. They only item that was good, was the mangoneada but the drink itself was already made, so they really didn't have to do much. My hot Cheetos and cheese, was more like chunky cheese and chips. The cheese sauce wasn't even hot, it was chunky and cold. The tostilocos were not mixed well and had barely any toppings. I get most of these are easy to make but if your going to mark up the prices since you are selling at a store vs, street food then you need to make sure the quality matches. The elotero and ice cream man had better munchies. #supportstreetvendors read more
