Langostinos a la Diabla. Soooo good. Light sweet note in a hearty savory peppery, and awesome juicy tender crustaceans
    Tom B.

In short Incredible seafood! Just a couple non-seafood dishes. Be ready to learn some food words in Spanish. Read the online menu beforehand if you can, and Google the words you don't know. (I had to, and I had 6 years of Spanish as a kid). The printed menu has in-house items not on the online menu, so bring the Googles with you when you go in. In long This is an old pizza place that already had a decent build inside, so they didn't change much, just painted everything turquoise. It's clean and nice for sure, and *bright*--lots of big windows and skylights. Even a cold, rainy, snow-ish gray day yesterday, it felt airy and welcoming inside thanks to all the bright natural light. Service is not necessarily flying at warp speed, but they take care of you for sure. Try to get a drink and appetizer order in on the first table visit. Oh, and, if you're stoked for margaritas and other cocktails, maybe ask for the drinks menu or poke around in the bar on your way to the table. We had *delicious* margaritas but saw a ton of interesting-looking pours going out that we did not see on the menu. Muchacho Alegre, if you're reading this, send a drinks menu out with the food menus. :-) As you've probably figured out by now, the kitchen here is 98% focused on seafood. First of all, they stock a huge variety of saltwater proteins, but best of all, they know how to season absolutely everything. We got multiple fresh housemade salsas on the table (1 each for the 3 dishes we ordered), plus 4 bottled salsas that were all fantastic and new to us (mostly from Mexico Lindo). Mixto ceviche con pulpo This is ceviche with fish, prawns, and octopus. No ketchup in sight! Bright acidic flavors, perfectly tender bites of seafood, lots of fresh veg. The "regular" seems a little pricey but it's an entrée-sized portion. Gorgeous fresh slices of avocado and tostada shells make this a fun sequence of bites to assemble and play around with spoonfuls of all the different salsas. Shrimp empanadas Great flavors inside and out. Served with a creamy, sweet-ish salsa. Combines well with all the other salsas, too. Langostinos a la Diabla Fresh shellfish, more delicious salsa, and nice red sauce. The sauce didn't show up in the photos online, but it made the dish even better than anticipated. Lots of onion, lots of peppery seasoning, some tomato slices. It has a sweet tomato-y note in the background but you can tune this up with all kinds of salsa if you'd rather have the heat than the sweet. Prices are a little high but for fantastic seafood the value is more than there. This is a huge family-style dining room and they are absolutely knocking it out of the park. Come in, relax, and have fun. They definitely push tables together for big groups.

Not that great fish tacos. Looks good but wasn't really that great at all

Service was terrible. Food eh I've had better. After asking for my drink order (iced tea) it took her about 10 minutes to come back to the table ( there was only 3 tables including me) she came back with no drink and asked for my order I asked for fish tacos she asked what to drink I said iced tea trying to keep positive. She said they don't have it... Wonder why she didn't tell me that to begin with. I just got water. Took another 5 minutes to get that. Took a normal amount of time to get the tacos. But ... The were over fried. And tasted burned. After I was done I watched her chat with staff for about 20 without checking any of her tables. When you think of Mexican food you think of fast food. If you're coming here I would rethink that. And this whole experience took me an hour and 10 minutes start to finish. And she only had three tables. No one else in the whole entire restaurant. I will not be coming back.

I've been here several times and have not been disappointed. The tilapia fillets are the best I've ever eaten. The pasta with shrimp is the bomb. The sauce is awesome. The remodel looks great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a fun place for a night out it has lots of tables, yes tables that you can put together for groups and update 21st century junk box and the usually multiple tvs for viewing sports or movies. This place has many selections of plates and yes I did say platters of shrimps or mussels or other seafood but I can't turn down a whole deep fried fish, to my disappointment after I order the white fish I don't look farther in the menu and saw deep fried Rick fish , what. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and came with rice and salad and a choice of flour or corn tortilla. Which of course I got corn they were extremely still hot a surprising moist for corn, next time I'm going to ask about if it was hand made. Ii saw that clay drink on the other table and they called it a cantartio, all I know it has tequila and juice in it , they called it affectionately a Mexican high ball, it suprising how much a person can drink when you can't taste the liquor, and don't be full by it size, I thought it was as a never ending glass by the hearty "sips" I was draining thru the straw. The mussels was a lot I wasn't sure how to eat those crackers that came with it , I'm sure I was doing it wrong and look foolish as usually. One last point the staff was very helpful explaining the menu and and and clear your table a you wee done, nice nothing I rather have than dishes clear, so I can focus on my drink

Lovely surprise in N Everett. Focus is on seafood, excellent environment and fresh food! Awesome fresh guacamole, had tasty carne asada, Margaritas were great too. Service was a tiny bit slow, but we were in no hurry and enjoyed the restaurant. Very clean inside with good design, will definitely go again

It came quick and the beef had the perfect crisp and the vegetables were plenty. It was a fantastic meal paired by a respectable drink selection. Atmosphere & location 5 star! Food 2 star…read more Summary: do not come here. I went here with my uncle and extended family to celebrate my cousin graduating nursing school. Parking is quite challenging. I entered the restaurant and was confused because there's a big sign outside that says "fisherman jacks" but it bridges two building and there's like an odd walkway and the only real entrance was this Chinese restaurant with Chinese characters on the door. You walk in and nothing says fisherman jacks. The signs, the menus, the host area. Anyways it is the place. The resultant is really nice looking and it's right on the water and it was like a nice hot day with baby blue sky and the restaurant fully opens up so we're indoor but it's kinda like outdoor patio seating. So I was really impressed at how nice this restaurant was. I used the bathroom and it was kinda sub par with only 2 stalls and 1 sink but whatever it worked. I ordered an espresso martini and a water since I had arrived last and wasn't sure who's water was who's. They never brought me a water. The martini was really good. We order family style and my uncle orders us a feast with like 6 appetizers and like 10 entrees. But the food was totally lack luster. It was at the bare minimum level of acceptable. Every item was like this. I was totally shocked. I couldn't help but be totally disappointed and I was trying to remind myself to be grateful because I'm at a family event and it's a beautiful day and I have a meal that is being provided for me and I made the best of it. But seriously I cannot stress this enough; The flavor was slightly worse and more dull than Panda Express and the quality of the food was on par with Panda Express. I know my uncle paid an insane price for this dinner and I appreciate it and had fun but I can't quite shake the feeling that this place charges top tier pricing for Panda Express level of food. I don't recommend it and I won't be coming back.

Service was a bit slow initially but they gifted us 2 desserts for the graduates. Rye squeakeasy was very strong but to my personal preference. I imagine too strong for the majority of folks. They had a rhubarb special going. Colleague had the rhubarb special halibut - sauce per them was a bit sweet for their preference. The cioppino was good and price wise maybe a better value than the rest of the menu. Came with lots of seafood. It was on the bit of the saltier side for my preference - the sweetness of the seafood was lost to the salt. Free parking (plenty) in the lot.

Apparently there is no point in making a reservation. We had to wait for a table despite having made a reservation, which brings this restaurant down to the level of fast food or greasy-spoon diner - very disappointing. I see this as a huge failure of management. If someone arrives on time for their reservation, they should be seated immediately, no excuses. Failing this shows a complete disregard for and disrespect of the customer. It is a reservation, not a general comment that we might arrive. Kudos to the chef(s) for very good food and to the busser who seemed to grasp customer service better than others. There is room for improvement on table / reservation management, to put it mildly.

Onion ring 5/5 My wife love onion rings and she said this was the best so far; it was perfect amount of batter and nicely fried as well. Both fish were great; the fries......its alright. Our dining experience began with cold appetizers, including a mixed black fungus dish with a satisfying crunch and tangy vinegar flavor, alongside pickled lotus root vegetables with a garlicky and subtly spicy taste. For our main courses, we opted for the Deep Fried Fish Szechuan Style, which was filled with cod fish, had a lighter batter coating, and a pleasing crunch, but beware of its savory and fiery flavor, which intensifies after several bites. We also selected the Szechuan Hometown Tofu, which offered our taste buds a savory flavor, enhanced by chili sauce, a crunchy exterior, and a soft, silky interior. On the side, we ordered a bowl of steamed purple rice and white rice. This exceptional culinary experience combines the perfect balance of crunchiness, chili spice, garlicky freshness, and sweetness, rich flavors of Szechuan cuisine. The sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce even though we asked more than once for the sauce to be on the side. We liked the bell peppers and onions in the sauce. The chicken pieces were of decent size. I did not care for the sauce. The white rice was well made and fluffy. The rice was probably the best part of the dish. About an hour later, we ended up throwing up the food. A complete waste of $31 dollars (which is pricey for what was supposed to be a lunch special). Also, vegetable chow mein and chicken chow mein is the same price which we found out after we had paid. Lunch is pictured and mention to include soup BUT you only get soup if you dine in. The place looked clean the the people seemed friendly. We may give them one more chance bc of the friendly service.
