Walked in here on a Sunday afternoon (February 2025), I sat at the bar, I tried the frozen mango margarita, strong & good, had two steak tacos, very fresh, seasoned and filling. The staff were friendly and attentive. Not my style ambiance or vibe wise, kinda quiet, low music & energy but I believe they have other locations, I will check it out. Only really went here once so far, not going to talk about the service or anything as a factor for my review but I did genuinely think it was fine and there was a small language barrier but it was absolutely not an issue at all. The place was clean, nicely lit, our food came out at what I felt like was a decent place considering how many things we ordered, I really like the fact that we were able to try so many dishes especially as someone who enjoys variety and goes to a lot of AYCE places, I'd say for the price the variety and quality were really high. I liked the guac on everything we ordered it really tasted fresh, the chips and salsa (WWOW THE SALSA WAS GOOD) at the start really did set up the whole experience to be fantastic. Popped in here for a pre Hella Mega concert meal. Service was a bit spotty as we had a language barrier, as the young waitresses spoke only Mexican and I , unfortunately, do not. As an example, my double vodka and orange juice came out in two glasses. Fortunately, both glasses had a strong pour. I had the steak and fried shrimp while my buddy had the beef ribs. Stopped by here after flying in to LGA. Good food. Strong drinks. Friendly staff. Good option if you're traveling in or out of the airport and dont want to eat there. There is a good amount of seating and I was able to get some work done. A single guy, sitting near us ordered the BIGGEST bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup I have ever seen in my life. It. Looked. S-O good!! The bar was very handsome - lengthy, quartz topped with high backed bar chairs. Many beers to choose from plus a full bar. The servers were busy making margaritas - mmmmm - margaritas.... Our server spoke no English, which didn't bother us one bit! She was friendly and seemed very kind - it was quite fun struggling (honestly - it was FUN!!) to communicate using sign language and pointing to photos in the vast menu. We ordered the grilled cactus which was really interesting! Soft in texture, it was presented with a lovely garnish of thinly sliced radishes and welcomed sliced cucumbers. The cactus was not super flavorful, so with some salt and their dynamite house prepared salsa, we achieved the heat and tastiness hit the mark. We ordered Tostadas. The appearance could not have been better - nope - the presentation was perfecto!! My hubbie's chicken choice was far better than mine. I opted for grilled carne/beef. Ouch - tough as leather. There was a bit of yummy involved, but I could not get over the texture of the beef. No good. The staff was super friendly. The design and decor was muted and comfortable. I love their Milanesa De Pollo. Most of the time they get it right. Once in a blue moon, the sauce and guacamole mix is too salty or they forget the sauce but you can always call and ask for an improvement next time. They take phone orders and you can pay cash on delivery if you are nearby. read more

Hit or miss honestly. Night chefs hit different though. I think night they make your food with love and day they just give you whatever. I've had burnt food, cold frozen food and just bad food. But the pros outweigh the bad and it's still reliable food. They are open super late. So that's a plus. read more

Horrible delivery experience that its almost comical. I ordered on seamless at 9:25 PM and it said it would only take 35-45 min. The time frame that my order was supposed to come was 10:05 to 10:15. I only ordered a burger and a taco. The place is a 8 min drive away. I thought they could handle it. At 10:20 I called the restaurant because I still hadn't received anything and it was getting late. The woman on the phone spoke Spanish so she transferred me to a man who spoke English. In the background all I could hear was loud music and a lot of voices. At this time all restaurants are supposed to close by 10 PM and this place was clearly still open. The man checked for my order and he didn't even know it was placed. My order wasn't even being made! He said they're busy with customers in the restaurant (he slipped up and changed it to deliveries when I mentioned he should be closed by now). He said seamless sets that time automatically and he could cancel my order and I would get my money back but I wanted the food!! I wasn't going to order from another restaurant this late and wait another 45 minutes! Eventually he said he would deliver my order but I couldn't believe I had to convince a restaurant to fulfill an order I already paid for. If he couldn't have done it, he should have cancelled it right away or gave me call to let me know. He arrived about 15 min later and called me. He let me know that usually they don't even deliver to my area and I said you clearly do because you showed up on my seamless and my order went through. And he said I know but it shouldn't have. But how is this my problem?? I don't run your seamless account! You could tell I was already mad about the situation, why escalate it more? I really enjoyed my experience here. Came with a friend, and we were seated quickly. It seems very authentic and many of the workers don't seem to speak English. However that's not a problem. In fact I see that as a bonus since I figure that means the food is much more authentic. One of the guys, he seemed like the manager, was super super nice and he did speak English. He explained a lot of what was on the menu. I ordered grilled cactus, Salmon and moly sauce, fajitas, sweet plantains, and the meal came with rice and beans. I thought everything was flavorful and tasty. The cactus perhaps had the least flavor, but I think that's because cactus just doesn't have much flavor. I really enjoyed their mole sauce. First of all, it's super close to the Queens museum, so we walked into find that there were families and couples. It was raining the day I walked in, but it was not super crowded. My family and I were excited to be out of the rain and happy to fill our tummies with some delicious Mexican dishes.
