Quick service, good prices, excellent spicy salsa. I always get the tostadas late after class and they always hit the spot.

I got the steak enchiladas served in green sauce with beans and Mexican rice which was served with a smaller salad.

So this place is like all the hype is about it…read more Very good service Very clean The food is different and very quick , tasty and leaves you wanting more . Position are a bit small for a whole in the wall like this and prices are high especially on the tacos but that's because the quality seems really good and fresh and effort put into it. I will definitely try to come back And come early no reservations have to wait in lines cold or warm you will have to. Maybe they should open another spot or expand but that's their business .

The menu is entirely in Spanish but the waiters can help if needed. We ordered the Gobernador taco, a half dozen shrimp, the regular guacamole and the aguachiles verdes. The Gobernador was a large size - really more like a mini quesadilla than a taco in my mind. It was flavorful and filled with seafood. The half dozen shrimp were cooked well, but a little hard and messy to peel. The guac was good, a little oily but tasty. The aguachiles were really good but borderline too spicy for me. The spice continued to build as I ate them and it did feel less enjoyable but it was good to start. My main grievance with this restaurant was how loud it was. I was yelling and struggling to hear what my friend or the waiter said, but the food was delicious. Maybe if it were less crowded it would be ok, but definitely not a great atmosphere for having a conversation.

I ordered Carne Asada ,Medium . Which I never received, it wasn't like it was busy or anything. Server never once came to our table asking if anything was ok . I just waited patiently for my meal . After her Meal was finished she flagged down the server and asked where is my meal . She then apologized stating she forgot to put my order in .. I was upset after she walks by our table all night seeing me sitting there with no dinner. A good server would ask how is everything, but no not once . I said then cancel the order but my partner insisted I eat , but then after I decided to have it bagged to go . I had lost my appetite. I asked for the check with the server apologizing, I said it's ok but the restaurant should at lest comp the my girlfriend her one cocktail . But that didn't even happen.. The food looked great as far as I could tell , owner was sitting at the front of the Restaurant, didn't ask tables at anytime if customers are happy with their food and service. I don't get it I he noticed me sitting there with an empty table and a coke . I don't think Food or Location is the problem, it's missing customer service, and wait staff should be trained properly. My food is still in the fridge , lost my desire to try . Place wasn't even busy . I am giving 3 stars just for the chef , wasn't her fault. Table service and management 0 stars .

Once again, I achieved mediocre results at the city's only option for this messy, delicious torta of epic ambitions. The sandwich itself, however, is done wonderfully, with the right sloppy texture to the filling that you hope for. Of course, the appropriate chilaquiles verdes are employed. (A note of caution for vegetarians: it automatically is served with a chicken milanesa, so ask them to remove it if you have restrictions.) The sopes we tried were a bit bland, but that's just more reason to stick to the specialty here. The bread for the cemitas and tortas is also baked in house.

They make really tasty Cemitas, tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, etc. in-house (even baking the bread for their sandwiches and making their own potato chips), and they provide hearty portions for a reasonable price. I hope they are successful because they're a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and especially that particular block of 69th street. My husband loved their Cubana Cemita, which was massive, and I really enjoyed the pollo quesadilla, which came with rice and salad on the side. I look forward to trying other dishes soon.
