Had a nice dinner with a friend as it's one of her favorite Mexican restaurants. It's nice and spacious and full of color and artwork on the walls, tables, and chairs. It was odd they sat us at a big booth that could have had six maybe eight people when it was just us two. All of the two person tables were empty...but they were in the middle of the aisle. I love margaritas, and had to get one on the rocks. I got a small and surprised how BIG a small was. The menu is a little overwhelming as there are so many options! There's no reason why anyone can't find something they like. I got a chicken and avocado burrito and as you can see by my photo, it was really good as I scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. If you want to surprise someone for their birthday, go here! Nearby it was a kids birthday and bunch of the staff sang a version of happy birthday. They then told the kid to close his eyes to give him sort of a treat and then they covered his face in whip cream! lol The kid was a good sport about it. A nice experience...nothing outstanding but would consider going again if I was in the area.

Salsa and chips.

Sorry. Green Bay location is better. With that being said I did like the addition of the bean dip with salsa at the beginning of the meal. The giant margarita was gross. Lacking real flavor and tasting like a low quality mix. The tacos were really good. I ordered the sausage, onion and cilantro tacos served on corn tortillas. These were the one thing good about the meal. I wish they had more cilantro on them. The beans and rice were average at best. The service was good they were quick and prompt. This and the tacos is why they were a 3 instead of a 2. I would come back because frankly those tacos were the bomb.

Taco Bell uses higher quality meat...

Absolutely disgusting food. Pork burrito had to be about the lowest grade meat you can get away with selling. Greasy with large chunks of unrendered fat throughout and tasted like it was days old. When I complained to the waiter he took the burrito slammed the receipt down and said "ask for your discount at the front" as if I were trying to scam them. Awful service, even worse food. Will never ever ever ever consider eating there again.

Pulled pork burrito. Giant nasty fat chucks through the whole thing.

Number two: they have five tables to eat at so you don't have to eat in your car. I ordered quesa-birria tacos with rice and beans and hubby ordered a quesadilla with asada. The service is at the counter and they call you when your order is complete. The lady who was taking our order answered all of our questions about the food and what we wanted. We waited about 5-7 minutes and then helped ourself to a condiment bar for anything we may have needed to accompany our meal. The tacos were crispy and juicy with the perfect simple flavor I've come to love from authentic food...nothing over the top but pure flavor. The quesadilla was FULL of meat and cheese...just the way it should be. He actually liked the very hot salsa with sour cream for his dipping sauce. They had a constant stream of customers so its advertising must be word of mouth. We'll definitely return for some street tacos when in town again. There are several other cantinas around that same area so just make sure you're going to the gas station.

If the taste of the food were as good as the presentation, it would have been worth five stars…read more A colleague referred us here and we were excited to find a good Mexican food place as I'm a lifelong Texan until last year and I know Mexican food, both TexMex and authentic. Sadly, it was near flavorless with the exception of the red and green sauce on my enchiladas. Hubby ordered a mignon chimichanga with cheese sauce and I ordered the enchiladas with red sauce, green sauce, and cheese sauce. Both of us had rice and beans. Hubby's chimichanga had very few pieces of meat but LOTS of grilled peppers and onions. The vegetable pieces were large and chunky. He only ate half of it and only had a bite of the rice and beans. Both of them were flavorless that might as well been microwaved from a pouch or can. The trio of enchiladas were ordered with fajita chicken. Each was covered with a different sauce. I tried all but only ate the cheese sauce one as it gave some moisture to the chicken and it wasn't so dried out. The green sauce was so acidic it almost took my breath away. Perhaps it was on the verge of needing to be thrown it. Rice had no veggies, barely pink in color and no flavor. Beans were creamy but again no flavor. Overall the food was super bland and not tasty at all. I'm unsure why people pay those prices for flavorless food. Perhaps it all goes back to the presentation...a smear of sour cream and standing chimichanga must be impressive to Appleton locals. Service was just okay. We had to ask someone else for help as our server was nowhere to be found. She did apologize and said she was folding silverware in the other room. It's a beautiful restaurant but they should redirect some of that money to hiring a chef who can bring life to the flavor profile of the food.

The lighting was perfect and the music was catchy without being intrusive. In short, Antojitos nails the balance between trendy and original that so many restaurants strive for. It's not just a pretty face, either--they serve fresh, elevated Mexican cuisine that delivers on quality but doesn't skimp on the portion sizes. Their service is also unusually fast. Once seated, we immediately received a bowl of chips and three delicious dipping sauces. If the chips had been fresh, they would have been godly. Our appetizer, the sope, was superb, and our entrees--the bajio enchiladas and a chimichanga for entrees--were delicious and filling. They also have plenty of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options! We went with the virgin pina colada and the virgin mango margarita and enjoyed them. Overall, our experience with Antojitos could not have been better, and we highly recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican cuisine.

It's definitely popular with the locals and for good reason. Ask for the "House Margarita". It wasn't on the menu when we went but it's what EVERYONE was drinking. They are delicious, boozy, and not too sweet. Food was good and portions were huge. They had a few vegetarian options, not the biggest selection, but I found a few things I liked. Service was great and everyone was friendly. It has everything your looking for in a local favorite, definitely worth a stop.

The place was busy for lunch but we did get seated right away. The waitress looked frazzled, no smile, and kept sitting dowwn iun the booth while we waited to have our order taken. When I ordered my meal I noticed there was no hot sauce (bottles) so I asked for hot sauce with my meal. Once the food arrived, we were out of salsa and chips. When I asked for more the server said "its extra." I didnt complain and said "fine." The food. I ordered a burrito bowl. It was a soggy unflavorable, worst burrito bowl I have ever had. The lettuce was wilted and tasted old/mildew; my husband complained his burrito side of shredded lettuce was the same. To say I was truly disappointed in my meal, is an understatement. I literally took 4-5 bites and was done. When we got the bill...I was charged for the hot sauce. Who charges for hot sauce????????????!!!! I was charged for the extra salsa but so be it. I will be surprised if this place lasts another six months in business.
