Plenty of drink specials. Thursday nights 2 for 1 House Margarita's. My Wife said her blended Raspberry Margarita was very good. They have plenty of different Corona product including Corona N/A I went with a combo dinner so I can try different items, the Combination#5 beef burrito in cheese sauce, cheese enchilada with red sauce & onion, & Mexican style chorizo corn taco - delish! Very small tocos. Had to pay extra for cheese on them. Salsa was too spicy. Would not recommend. Waitress forgot part of my order

We waited 20 minutes for the server to come by due to "miscommunication". Food came out incorrectly, drinks were slow to arrive and then we had to wave the waiter down to ask for the kids drinks. We probably won't return. Portions were decent, food w as okay but customer service was not great today read more

Food was 5 star. Service was 3 star. Being generous. Server seemed agitated and acted as if we were bothering her. Very off putting. read more

I ordered the same shrimp I've ordered a few times, and it is usually mild and cooked well. However, today it was not mild and many portions were burnt/overcooked. I ate around the darkest shrimp and the mushy peppers and onions. I did take a to go box and left the burnt peppers and onions. I won't eat it but the kiddo will. Our service was bad, and she seemed unhappy we were there. She also wanted us to order within a few minutes of sitting down. So, I think you should look at the menu online, because you wouldn't want to have the server have to come back more than absolutely necessary. Table checks from the server didn't really happen-checked once. We stopped another employee to ask for chips. I did mention the overcooked/burnt portions. She said hold on and came back with our check. You would think someone from mgmt would come by, but nope. I didn't want my meal for free or even discounted, but a table check would have been nice. So, if you are looking for spicy when you ask for mild, stopping someone else to ask for things, drinking someone else's water, and bad service then this is the place for you! read more

This is my family's favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. My niece is obsessed with the chips (as are all of us, honestly!). Everything we've had on the menu has been amazing. Service is consistently good. Check it out! read more

I have loved this place since I first ate there, about 15 years ago. Now they moved closer to me... I love both their tacos and chimichanga. I know they are bad for you, but so yummy! They can easily make most anything vegetarian. Just a special treat for me. read more

El Sarape - a plate of quesadillas and chips - Mexican Near Me - Bellevue, Wisconsin

Stopped here for lunch. The food was really good. The service was equally good. It's a typical strip mall Mexican restaurant, but lots of seating and decorated nice. read more

I wanted to enjoy this place. Unfortunately, as quite a few other reviews have said, the service was nearly nonexistent. We were seated quickly and received chips and salsa. About ten minutes before our order was taken. (Not terrible) However, we finished our meal and asked for boxes at 8:00 and didn't get them until about 8:40. The restaurant was not busy, two table near us were empty for most of our meal, there was no logical reason we were forgotten. read more

Came here for lunch just before noon during the week. We were seated right away. It wasn't overflowing, but they were doing good business. Quick to ask us for our drink orders, but then the service was a little slow and we had to ask multiple times for some things (glass for bottled soda, for example). The chips on the table were pretty good and the pico had a little zing to it. When it came to the food, they served up really solid tex-mex food--it was good but nothing super special. We loved that they had a la carte options so you could build your own plate or mix and match. They also have a few interesting options that you don't typically see on tex-mex menus--gorditas and sopes. They also had some fun looking drinks but we didn't try those this time. Its located in a strip mall, so parking is easy. The booths and tables are cute, if kischy. Bright colors abound. Not a lot of ambiance, but you get a lot of great food for a great price. read more

Great atmosphere, Robert's special is my fav! great service, great margarita. the margarita tower is a must have!

First time going here. The service and atmosphere were fine, but didn't really enjoy our food. Fajitas portion was huge, but lacked flavor. Same with the two different burritos. Portions were fine, but the Salsa Verde was bland on one, and the other burritos had no cheese or sauce. Not sure we'll be back. read more

service was great. The food was amazing taste just like back at home in Mexico. I would definitely be returning soon.

The food was decent enough and portions were of good size. The service was quick and server was attentive. The restaurant was easy to get to and looks nice from the outside but the inside could use more color. Overall the the experience was good, worth it to check out. read more

Went with a friend in the afternoon and there were other people there but we got to sit immediately. All the servers were really nice and friendly. we ended up ordering tacos with carne asada in corn tortillas and a side of rice and steak rancheros. the steak rancheros was a massive plate. The rice was amazing 10/10. it was a chill,laid-back spot. they didn't have any ice cream tho when we asked it's okay though read more

Love the new El Sarape East. bright and light decor. Same delicious menu and drinks. Good service. my only suggestion is thecwide open space is too loud! we couldn't hear the waiter or our conversation. it would be great if they installed ceiling dividers or partitioned office seating area. will still be a loyal customer read more

El sarape on the east side used to be fantastic. I don't know what happened when they moved to the new location. I just had the second bad experience there this afternoon. The first time the steak my fajita was so bad I couldn't even eat it. I told the waitress that she took the plate never came back. Never asked me if I wanted something else just left. I didn't think too much of it because I know just recently opened, but this afternoon I went. Cheese dip, and chips ordered it through GrubHub. Follow the instructions. Got there after the time that they suggested and there was no order when I inquired they told me it would be another 20 minutes that point I left. I am so so disappointed because El sarape used restaurants to eat at to be one of my read more

food was terrible was heated up in microwave had the chicken nachos fat on chicken no flavor very bland left almost all of it waiter was rude before we got our food and when we asked for a discount for my order he said no we don't make money that way won't go back after they heated it up they just dumped and the stuff on chips which included the juice/water and my friend asked a question about something on the menu the waiters response was have u never eaten at a mexican restaurant and never answered her wth, what a rude person where is customer service ? read more

Atmosphere was nice. Food was good but need to order some items separately, ale cart. Food was very good as well as the service

The food is so good. So good. That's why my family keeps coming back. Then, pray tell cat-mask-avatar, why the two stars? There is something really sketchy about the service and quality of El Sarape. My family seems to forget about it just long enough for us to come back again and be slightly perturbed all over again. A few years ago, my vegan sister was served the wrong burrito (filled with meat). Multiple instances we've gone, the waiters never check in on soda or water refills. Today, my mother found a literal rock in her taco salad. Like a solid pebble the size of a thumbnail. We were given a new salad, but not on the house. Not saying it should have been free, but their apathy was mildly concerning to say the least. It was a rock! I think the rock was the final straw... our family tradition of sometimes-visiting El Sarape for birthdays came to a sad end tonight. You should still go, if you like good food. Just look out for rocks and dietary restrictions. read more

El Sarape - Mexican Near Me - Bellevue, Wisconsin

Went here for lunch and will not be back. When our food came out it was not hot. Usually the plates at any Mexican restaurant we have been to are so hot they carry them out with pot holders and tell you the plates are very hot. Carried them out with bare hands . We would have liked more salsa but the waitress never came back until she brought our bill. I did not see her check on any tables. Also had takeout one time and they were making a drink and taking the ice out with their hands. Went to pay bill and stood there waiting as our waitress was conversing with a takeout customer and we stood there and waited for her to take our bill. Bad choice of restaurants. read more

Free parking lot parking. Great customer service. Food was on point They give you fresh tortilla chips & pick de Gallo salsa. So good! I got the ribeye with bell peppers, onions with rice, beans, flour tortilla Rib eye torta Fried ice cream. Everything was amazing! Very fresh & flavorful! The customer service was great! read more

Good food and usually fast service. Prices are not as inexpensive as they once were, but that's happened everywhere.

This was the first time Ive been to this location. I wasn't thrilled with the welcome we received when we were seated and given menus. Hostesses don't typically throw menus on the table and walk away. That put a bad taste in my mouth, but our server tired it around and gave us good service thereafter. The menu is fairly extensive but all in all, it's the Mexican fare. I ordered chimichangas with shrimp (3 small) and I was actually pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of the shrimp! Usually it's kind of a gamble but I'm glad I ordered them. We don't typically order desert but there was a special on the fried ice cream, so we went for it. It was amazing!! It was the perfect end to a great meal. The guacamole is also a must! Very fresh and full of flavor! read more

Omg--I've gone to El Sarpe for years. Totally delicious and the staff are always friendly.

Ate there for lunch, atmosphere was nothing special, food was good not excellent. Lunch menu was a pick 2 but included only rice or beans, not both. Meal included no queso on the chimichanga, blah. It had potential but the limitations made it too basic. There are better places to eat. To the restaurant, smaller portions with greater variety of tastes and sauces is the ticket to success. read more

My favorite Mexican restaurant! Delicious food with a huge menu, friendly staff, good prices. Everything I've tried there is amazing.

My wife wanted to try a different Mexican restaurant than our usual places, so we tried this place. It was not busy and we were seated right away, 5 minutes later we were given chips and salsa, 15 minutes later ...no waitresses, chip gone, looked around and waitresses standing around.. 5 minutes later we left. So I have no idea if the food is good or not...WE NEVER GOT SERVICE !!!!!! read more

Great margarita and salsa. Chips a little greasy. Ordered the #6 combo - enchilada, burrito and taco. Burrito came swimming in white nacho cheese. It basically was a tortilla filled with meat - nothing else. Enchilada was ok, taco sad looking with that goopy cheese. No flavor. Tried to squirt the line on taco and it was too dried out. Disappointing based on reviews. Maybe people don't get out to good Mexican restaurants. Not sure how they got such rave reviews. read more

If you live in Green Bay and don't love El Sarape, we probably can't be friends. I have been a fan of the bean and avocado burrito for years and years.
