This was my first time here and to be honest I was a little nervous based on the some of the reviews I read. The service was great we were seated immediately by a very pleasant lady, our order for drinks was taken quickly and drinks were served quickly as well. After our food order was taken we didn't have to wait long for our food. The ambiance is definitely a Mexican restaurant vibe, but not over done, sadly it was kind of a cruddy day so we didn't get to use the nice outdoor patio which is apparently dog friendly. I thought the food was amazing, I had the chili verde and I have to say it was probably the best verde sauce I've ever had, pork tips were cooked perfectly, fall apart tender. It was served with beans, rice, and a choice of warm flour or corn tortillas (corn are the best in my opinion). My companions had carnitas and burritos and they both agreed the food was awesome. Very reasonable prices ($15.99 for my meal) and a lot of food, I couldn't eat it all. Loved it and will definitely go back. read more

Went here for dinner last night. The atmosphere of the place is extremely sad. Bartender yawning and watching TV, lights out in the place, some customer played a metal sound and it blasted throughout the restaurant... not what I wanted to hear at a Mexican restaurant. Ordered a michelada (a Mexican drink) and the server didn't even know what it was. The bartender took about 10 mins to make even thought it was the only drink. She was just extremely slow. There was one server for the entire restaurant. As you could imagine, due to this, the service was SUPER slow. From the time we ordered, it took a very long time to get our food. The food was NOT GOOD. We got a molcajete which had no flavor. Nothing in the dish was seasoned at all. The corn tortillas were not good. They seemed like they just tossed them in the microwave. Overall, it was not worth $50+ that it costed at all. Will never visit again. read more

Well, this was a record-breaking experience for me and my family. My husband and I brought our toddler there for dinner. The place was empty, but it was a bit early. The cooks were swearing loudly in the back, (maybe because they thought it was empty?) but it wasn't quite the welcome we were expecting, especially with the restaurant being basically attached to such a nice hotel. Half the place was completely black and it felt like we were in a construction site or a haunted house. The waitress checked on us promptly, since we were her only table, but seemed a bit in a rush - so do we have our drink orders, immediately? No, I need time to look the menu up online, but thanks. Didn't bring water in the meantime. Did bring mediocre chips and salsa. We decided to get a pitcher of margaritas. She warned us to be careful because the pitcher handles tend to break off - that is because it is full of the biggest ice cubes I've ever seen. It tasted fine, but it's pretty hard to mess up a margarita, right? We also got guacamole as an app and omg it was the worst guac I've ever had. It was all white onion and no avocado. No flavor. Terrible. I've never not liked guacamole. Upon dropping off the guac and margaritas, our waitress again immediately asked if we were ready to order, but I needed a minute because our toddler was making a mess and being fussy. While they did have a high chair, everything else was incredibly not-kid-friendly. (I didn't think to bring crayons or anything because she was fine the last time we went out to eat.) Anyway we finally ordered and I chose the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans to share with the kiddo, and my husband got the fajitas. When the waitress came back with the fajitas, she had the steaming plate next to the baby and I had to grab her chair and pull it away. She didn't bring a plate for the baby so we requested one and she brought a heavy ceramic plate. Ok, again I guess I should have brought my own plastic plate or a placemat, but also I wasn't aware that this was such an alien scenario that a restaurant wouldn't be equipped to handle it, especially since they have a "kids menu." Ok so the food - good lord. It was literally the worst meal we have ever had, anywhere, any time. I made the kiddo's plate first and she wouldn't eat it at all. I then took a bite of mine and struggled to even swallow it. The "chicken" in my quesadilla was limp and stringy and red, but yet it had no flavor. I've never actually only had one bite of a meal and didn't even attempt a second. The beans were okay and the rice was gummy. My husband said the shrimp tasted microwaved and the steak was literally all fat. We hardly ate any of it and the waitress didn't bother to ask why. She was sweet overall, and I don't think she was really to blame. There was definitely a bigger problem happening here. I got a to-go box out of pity and then threw it away as soon as we got to the hotel. I wouldn't have fed it to our dog. We also all smelled so badly of onions once we got back to our room that we all had to put our clothes in a sealed bag and take showers. We were all sick to our stomach for several days afterwards. Well ok I've read some of the other comments and I'm not sure if I can be that in-depth so here go's i ordered the Pablo special fajitas hm it was 1 of the few things that didn't have bacon in it and low and behold they put it in there anyway instead of chorizo i assume tortillas were fkn gross "corn " the wife ordered the #5 special she said it was good ‍the waitress was very rude half the place was pitch black so hard time finding the bathroom first time here and most definitely the last sorry you're place SUCKS maybe try harder hire some real servers that care and leave the bacon for breakfast read more

Every single person asked where we got the food and said it was some of the best Mexican they had ever had. The taco bar was phenomenal, and they provided everything we could possibly need to host a fantastic, hot meal. The Pablo's team was super nice and great to work with. Worst food and the customer service is very poor. We ordered vegetarIan fajitas and veggie Quesadillas and the food was not cooked through. The tortillas were completely raw and the veggies were super uncooked. The waiters did not entertain our feedback and said it's not their fault..this is how they make. We told them politely that they should improve food quality and hospitality , otherwise they will low lot of customers. We ended paying for everything without eating anything. Worst experience ! Super sad and frustrated!! We love Mexican cuisine but sad to say that this is the worst mexican food we had so far and super disappointing customer service . read more

My chicken fajita salad was good. The veggies were grilled well and chicken was seasoned but not hot. The portion wasn't huge but plenty of meat on the entree. My lower rating is for the following: 1. Awful service. The wait staff was seating with their friends in a booth while we waited for refills and the check. Also, the bartender did not make a good margarita. 2. Dining area wasn't very clean. 3. My guacamole was dark and not fresh. read more

Worst food ever. Tortillas were extra dry and stale,chips smelled as if they were fried in old oil had bad after taste. When the food arrived it didn't look promising. The beans look as if from a can and the rice was dried out like it was sitting under a heat lamp. After two bites I asked for the bill paid and left. Upon entering Pablos, the parking lot was a bit sparce. Which was a bit concerning as it was dinner time in Green Bay...the bathrooms were clean and tidy, although I had to go through a very dark and empty side of the restaurant to get to it. We were served free salsa and chips which were okay. Margaritas fantastic. We ordered tacos and burritos. Both chicken and beef. The chicken was watery. Beef was okay. Server was nice and reasonably attentive. Overall, there are much better options in Green Bay. read more

First time eating here- the margaritas were delicious and quite a steal at $10 a pitcher!! Fajitas were delicious as well- and as always way too much for one person to eat for a meal! Our server was friendly and prompt. The place was freezing cold though so that would be a deterrent for coming back here. The other thing that was surprising to me was that I was charged for more tortillas when I ran out (my entire order of fajitas came with 3-4 ). Guacamole was o.k. Well, not exactly sure what to say about this place. It's attached to the Meadows Conference Center and Country Inn and Suites. My first visit was an effort to get a bite to eat before a program started so I joined a group of fellow conventioneers at their table. Waiting for about 10 or 15 minutes it was obvious the waitress wasn't on the same schedule so I gave up on food. After the program started I decided to give food another try. Sat down at the bar for quick service. After a few minutes the person behind the bar informed me a bartender would be with me shortly. A few more minutes went by before she asked if I wanted food, I mentioned to her the area around me looked like it needed cleaning as there was food residue on the bar. She said yes it all needs to be wiped down then walked off. So I moved to another bar stool. Finally another person who was sitting across from me at the bar asked if I needed a drink. Ordered a drink from her. It turns out she doesn't even work here but is a manager at the local Perkins. There was another person at the bar drinking who was plugging in her IPhone to play her music obviously drinking but also looked to be part of the bar. I have never experienced any thing like this in any establishment before. This is not the way to run any business! read more

I decided to go see a movie alone and needed to grab a bite, this place is just a few doors down from the theatre. I got a little nervous, it was 6pm and there were only like two cars in the parking lot. Usually not a good sign. I go in and am greeted right away. While I'm eating my chips and salsa I decided to read the reviews on here to see why nobody is here. I was waiting for this to be the worst tasteless meal and experience in my entire life according to the reviews! The server was very prompt and clean. The entire place was really clean actually. I ordered a chicken chimichanga dinner and a soda. The soda had free refills. The chimichanga was good, not great. The rice was probably the only thing really disappointing. You could tell it was some pre made mix and the peas had to be rehydrated. It was really dry. Rice is not a hard dish to make. Even keep it simple like a lime cilantro rice. Entire meal was $15, I think it was worth it. I'd stop in again! read more

Zero stars if I could. I don't think I've ever called a restaurant, "disgusting" before. But, here I am claiming that word against this establishment. From hairs in my chips and salsa, guacamoles from a bag- watered down with vinegar and their salsa... Which is their flavorless "salsa" served in and with their food that incinerates your taste buds (lacking flavor, seasonings, and overly spicy), to vinegar marinated meats, to sub-par staff (our server sat at the bar with girls, that he was more interested in than serving our table properly.) This place was incredibly disappointing, inedible, and undesirable. In addition to everything I mentioned, my kids requested chicken tenders that were soggy and undercooked along with the overly salted beans and decent rice. The margaritas tasted like lemonade with a splash of Sprite. It also doesn't help that the owners running this Mexican restaurant, aren't in fact, Mexican. I have years of experience in the restaurant industry and this place fails on all critical keys to success of a business. They need to stop taking shortcuts on critical and inexpensive aspects of Mexican cuisine (ie: salsa, guacamole, burritos with appropriate sized tortillas, margarita mix, and many more pieces to authentic cuisine). Being cheap on these things will further progress the sinking ship they are sailing. A friend suggested that they were trying to appease the "non-latino" people in the area... However, we all can agree no flavor, irresponsible over AND under use of salt, and a nuclear explosion of SPICE does not appease to anyone. I hope they can get it together. read more

One of our favorite places to eat in Green Bay. Great food and drink, large helpings and a very friendly staff.

We had a terrible experience here! We came in at any 5:50pm and didn't get out until 7:50pm! We sat on the patio (there were 2 other tables out there) it took 15 minutes to get a drink order taken and then we sat over an hour before we got our food. We were starving by the time our food arrived. The only reason there is even one star is because the food was decent. They never offered to get another drink and didn't bring it everything (sides) we had asked for. And when the bill came and she went around the table with her handheld device, I paid cash, because she made 3 mistakes with my neices card (scary), and then she didn't give me all my change! I will never go back! You can get decent food at many other places with good service instead. read more

Worst excuse for Mexican food (or any food). The hostess and waitress were actually friendly however. It was pretty much empty so the waitress had lots of time to take care of our table. She did a great job. For the food, however, the ground beef for the burritos we had was the worst tasting garbage I ever had. It must have came out of a can or box or something. It certainly wasn't made that day at the restaurant. I'm not sure it was even beef. The chicken for the taco was terrible also. We ate the chips and salsa and threw the rest away. Pablos is a great place!! They are relatively new, as they started in Nov. 2017, so they had to work out a few details before they found the right staff to help them. I've eaten there over a dozen times. I love the vegetable fajitas, and they have many other delicious dishes as well. The staff is friendly. This is a family-run business, so please support local businesses like this. Some nights they will have Mexican dancers who are fun to watch! Please give them a chance to make you smile! read more

This place is rough. Friend of mine and I came when they were having a deal where you can get 4 street style tacos (my fav) and a small margarita for $10. The margarita wasn't bad, but the tacos were dry and tasteless. We each got 2 chorizo and 2 steak street tacos. The chorizo tasted like soy crumbles, not like chorizo at all. No spice at all. And the steak was better but just very bland. The marg was pretty good though so we ordered one of their $10 pitcher to share and I swear 65% of it was water. Although service was fast (the place was empty) and it's cheap, our waitress was very short with us and forgot our drinks twice. Plus an 1.5 before they closed, they were cleaning up and turning off lights. I've worked in the food/service industry, there's nothing wrong with starting to close up, but when yostill have customers in the restaurant who have close to 2 hours before you officially closed (we even asked to make sure, didn't want to be rude by over staying our welcome) and you're starting to shut off lights on them.... read more

This restaurant is yo classic crusty mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa went hard, however we got guacamole and it looked like alien shit. There quesadilla was basically a big taco. The rice was dry as well. I did kinda like the vibe for some reason I do not know why. This is when my visit to Pablos gets nuts. After we got our guacamole, a dog came in to the restaurant and jumped on the table and was inches away from the liking the guacamole. The dogs name was jimmy I think. The worst service. There were not many people in the restaurant. We sat down and waitress brought our chips and salsa. We ordered two margaritas and a large cheese dip - cheese dip came out relatively quickly but the drinks took over 10 minutes to receive. We sat waiting for 10-15 minutes for the waitress to come take our order. She never came to the table and we had to wave her to come over. We ordered two very simple meals and took over 40 minutes to get our food. Once I received my food I noticed it was incorrect and had to send it back - had to wait additional time to make a new quesadilla. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills, asked how the food was or apologized for bringing the wrong food. We will not be returning. read more

We love Mexican food. Had a non mix margarita to start off. Great taste! The food came out hot and delicious. We are in Wisconsin, so I had the Pablosauras, a bacon wrapped loaded chicken burrito. We ate here for the first time tonight. The service was horrible! We ordered (2) Margaritas and waited 10 minutes as the drinks sat on the end of the bar. In the restaurant there were three men at the bar, two other women and myself and husband, not busy at all for 6:15pm. The three men were loud and talking bad language. Thank goodness there were no young children in the restaurant!! My husband asked the three men to be more considerate of the people in the establishment, they continued to talk bad/vulgar language. What disguises me the most...the "part owner" said "there is nothing I can do about it!" Really??? The "part owner" can and should take ownership and ask the men to be respectful of others in their establishment, and bad language is not tolerated here. The" part owner" has the authority to stop serving drinks to people who are inappropriate or kindly ask them to leave. The food was ok, we took it home to finish to get out of this awful atmosphere! I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody! It has changed names three times in a few short years! Stay Away!!!! read more
