Left: Steak Taco Middle & right: Al Pastor Tacos - Three street tacos with soft corn tortillas contain meat, topped with chopped cilantro, onions, and a brown sauce. Lime wedges are placed beside the tacos for squeezing. The tacos are served in a red plastic basket lined with paper, typical of casual Mexican eateries.

My friend was craving tacos and wanted to try this place out. Cute small place. Friendly people. We were able to sit down right away since it wasn't busy. They brought out chips, salsa, and bean dip right away. Definitely not made there so if you're looking for homemade dips and chips, this is not the place for you. My friend ordered three chicken tacos, a side of rice, and a side of beans. I ordered one steak taco, two pastor tacos, and a side of rice. Tacos weren't the best. They tasted cold and not fresh. I feel like pastor tacos are usually bursting with flavors, but I feel like they were pretty bland as well as the steak taco. My friend also said that her tacos didn't taste fresh as well. We ended up not eating some of the tortilla and just mixed it with our rice to eat instead since the tortillas were alittle hard. The rice was pretty soft. Probably too soft for some, but I didn't quite mind it. Overall, my friend and I agreed that we will probably not be returning.

A taco with shredded meat, chopped lettuce, and sauce is presented on a corn tortilla, placed on a red paper-lined tray. Two lime wedges are positioned beside the taco. In the background, there is a red basket and a red cup on a dark surface, indicating a casual dining setting.

Best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had! Great food place. Only complaint is the gac and cheese dip is very small for the price it is.

You can write on the wall!! How cool is that! - The image shows a circular, illuminated sign for Taco House, displaying the slogan "The best steak tacos in town" and the establishment year 2020. The sign has a flame graphic background, emphasizing a fiery theme, and is mounted on a wooden wall. The wall behind the sign is decorated with various colorful chalk writings and doodles, including messages, drawings, and notes, creating a lively and casual atmosphere.

The owner made our visit so memorable!! Enjoyed everything we tried, will be back!!! So very happy, All the food was freshly made to order!

Flavor! There is nothing plain or dull about the food being served up at the Taco House. My go to are the street tacos, specifically the steak tacos. Meat, onions and cilantro; simple but tasty! Don't forget a squeeze of fresh lime and a drizzle of their red sauce. I've also tried their beans, amazing! Some really nice people, giving great service every time I've stopped in.

Chips and beans so yummy! - A red plastic basket lined with paper contains crispy tortilla chips and a small black bowl of bean dip. The bean dip appears to have beans in a thick sauce. A smartphone displaying a menu is visible in the background, resting on a napkin. The setting suggests a casual dining environment, possibly at a Mexican restaurant or snack bar.

Incredible Tacos! I recommend the Steak and El Pastor tacos they are so tender and flavorful! Loved the pineapple and spice! They offer both Mexican and American versions so you may have your tacos the way you like them. They serve chips and beans the beans are incredible, served warm with cheese! You cannot go wrong here they serve beer, horchata and flavored sodas. Quite the bang for your buck!

This is real, authentic Mexican food and it is good! The owner will proudly tell you the recipes come from his grandma. The service is fantastic and the food is so good. The lengua is delicious. You can tell it has been marinaded and properly prepared. Bottom line: EAT HERE. ITS DELICIOUS!

Number two: they have five tables to eat at so you don't have to eat in your car. I ordered quesa-birria tacos with rice and beans and hubby ordered a quesadilla with asada. The service is at the counter and they call you when your order is complete. The lady who was taking our order answered all of our questions about the food and what we wanted. We waited about 5-7 minutes and then helped ourself to a condiment bar for anything we may have needed to accompany our meal. The tacos were crispy and juicy with the perfect simple flavor I've come to love from authentic food...nothing over the top but pure flavor. The quesadilla was FULL of meat and cheese...just the way it should be. He actually liked the very hot salsa with sour cream for his dipping sauce. They had a constant stream of customers so its advertising must be word of mouth. We'll definitely return for some street tacos when in town again. There are several other cantinas around that same area so just make sure you're going to the gas station.

Sadly, it was near flavorless with the exception of the red and green sauce on my enchiladas. Hubby ordered a mignon chimichanga with cheese sauce and I ordered the enchiladas with red sauce, green sauce, and cheese sauce. Both of us had rice and beans. Hubby's chimichanga had very few pieces of meat but LOTS of grilled peppers and onions. The vegetable pieces were large and chunky. He only ate half of it and only had a bite of the rice and beans. Both of them were flavorless that might as well been microwaved from a pouch or can. The trio of enchiladas were ordered with fajita chicken. Each was covered with a different sauce. I tried all but only ate the cheese sauce one as it gave some moisture to the chicken and it wasn't so dried out. The green sauce was so acidic it almost took my breath away. Perhaps it was on the verge of needing to be thrown it. Rice had no veggies, barely pink in color and no flavor. Beans were creamy but again no flavor. Overall the food was super bland and not tasty at all. I'm unsure why people pay those prices for flavorless food. Perhaps it all goes back to the presentation...a smear of sour cream and standing chimichanga must be impressive to Appleton locals. Service was just okay. We had to ask someone else for help as our server was nowhere to be found. She did apologize and said she was folding silverware in the other room. It's a beautiful restaurant but they should redirect some of that money to hiring a chef who can bring life to the flavor profile of the food.

The lighting was perfect and the music was catchy without being intrusive. In short, Antojitos nails the balance between trendy and original that so many restaurants strive for. It's not just a pretty face, either--they serve fresh, elevated Mexican cuisine that delivers on quality but doesn't skimp on the portion sizes. Their service is also unusually fast. Once seated, we immediately received a bowl of chips and three delicious dipping sauces. If the chips had been fresh, they would have been godly. Our appetizer, the sope, was superb, and our entrees--the bajio enchiladas and a chimichanga for entrees--were delicious and filling. They also have plenty of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options! We went with the virgin pina colada and the virgin mango margarita and enjoyed them. Overall, our experience with Antojitos could not have been better, and we highly recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican cuisine.
