Bagel selection
Ha L.

Had a Sunday morning craving for a bagel and decided to check out Einstein bros. There was a crowd but everything moved quick! I ordered ahead online for the bagels and it was about a 15min wait. Once they were ready you can grab the order off the designated shelf they had for order ahead orders. There was adequate seating inside and many outdoor tables to hang out at. My only con was that my bagel wasn't crisply toasted and was a bit soggy. Other than that flavors were great! Worker were very friendly and fast. I'll be back to try their other menu items whenever the craving hits again.

Empty bagel case

This is in response to my previous visit one month ago. I pre ordered a dozen bagels today because I knew I wouldn't be able to pick them up until early afternoon. When I arrived they told me they didn't have the bagels I pre ordered and if I wanted to pick something else out of the three varieties they had left I could. Since my last visit no response from corporate. This will be the last time I go to this Einsteins bagel store. It's not worthy of anyone's business in santee Choose another business to support

Jaxson is kind, professional and patient. She made my first experience pleasant. The bagels are tasty and fresh. I really loved the ambiance.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and it was actually pretty good. I ordered the Maplehouse and it was great. It was a little too sweet for my liking. If I had tried a different bagel with it then it would've been perfect but I'm not big on sweets. I ordered that twice baked has brown thing that came as highly recommended but I wasn't fan. The food was picked up fast and presentation was great though. Neatly packaged and sandwich was sliced in half just how I like it.

Super fresh bagels and really great service as well! Went in to pick up 2 free bagels I got for taking a survey on a previous order, and they didn't even ask me to show the email with the confirmation or anything! Cashier was super nice with making a recommendations. Really great conversation and he even went and just picked up a bagel He recommended for me so I didn't have to wait in line when I wanted to get an extra (after realizing that I had another discount on my account). All the bagels were soft to just the right amount. Not rock hard like you get it. Some other places. Super fresh even the next day. Got the Asiago, Pumpernickel and Ancient Grain; all soft and nice. Used them to make breakfast sandwiches at home and they came out so well.

Crookedly sliced bagel

I purchased six bagels and I asked if they could slice them for me. They did slice them but four of the six bagels were sliced very uneven. So much so that one half was sliced extremely thin.

Pros: * Amazing Bagels; it really is their specialty * Open Early * Easy to find parking Cons: * Expensive; 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 drinks were $30 * The fillings in the sandwich let down the bagel. Extra: * Recommend buying the gift cards from Costco for a reduced cost

I can still remember coming here as a kid--back when there were live stock in the nearby yard and life felt a little slower. Decades later, I walked in, grabbed an apple fritter, and it hit exactly the same. That kind of consistency is rare. That kind of nostalgia is priceless. Let's talk about that apple fritter--this is the benchmark. Crispy edges, soft inside, perfectly glazed. I've had them all over the country, and this one holds its own as a top contender anywhere in the U.S. No exaggeration. But it's more than just the donuts. It's the feeling. The staff is always friendly, the vibe is familiar, and every visit feels like a warm hug from your childhood. Nothing flashy, nothing trendy--just done right, every single time. This place is a staple. If you're from Santee, you know. If you're visiting San Diego, this is a must-stop. Some places change with time. Mary's Donuts proves that the best ones don't have to.

Flavor-wise, it was excellent: the strawberry wasn't overpowering, and the oat milk didn't mask the matcha. You could still taste both the matcha and the strawberry. The consistency was just right for a cream-style latte. It's sweeter than traditional matcha, so if you prefer your matcha strong and slightly bitter, this might not be the drink for you. But if you like a lightly sweetened matcha where the flavor still comes through, this one is perfect. I'm curious to try their regular matcha next. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I mentioned my dietary restrictions (celiac), and they were accommodating, though there's always a possibility of cross-contamination, so keep that in mind. The shop itself is a great place to catch up with friends, study, or just relax. They offer light snacks like pastries, bagels, toast, parfaits, and acai bowls--unfortunately, nothing gluten-free for me, but still great options for others. Even though they were busy, the line moved quickly. Overall, this is a great matcha spot, and I can't wait to try more drinks next time I'm in town!

They have everything from hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches to salads, wraps, and even breakfast items. You can order at the counter or on the kiosk. I ordered on the kiosk. Simple and quick. I ordered the wild-caught salmon sandwich with salmon, arugula, and garlic aioli. The salmon was cooked perfectly. They were a little skimpy on the aioli, so the sandwich was kind of dry, but it was still good. I also got a side of fries, and those shoestring fries were nice and crispy. Prices are reasonable, and there's seating both inside and outside. Shout out to Crystal. I don't know if she's the manager, but she definitely cares about quality customer service. Someone ordered the Green Beret sandwich, and it was brought out on toasted bread when apparently it wasn't supposed to be. She immediately went to the counter and let the cooks know about it. For example, I ordered the breakfast bagel with scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese on a Bialy Bagel and a cup of coffee. The breakfast bagel was okay, hence the three stars, but it could be much better with some easy upgrades. First, they not mix the cheese with the eggs. It was hardly noticeable. I could not taste it. When you put a cheese on a hot sandwich one has not see it beautifully melting on and down the sides of the ingredients of the sandwich. I would suggest they offers slices of cheese like Provolone, Cheddar, Swiss, and Pepper Jack etc., and place the cheese right on top of that pipping hot egg or ham, so that it melts into goodness into the sandwich. They also consider putting some kind of spread on the bagel too. On a good note, they put a good amount of ham into the breakfast bagel. Service was friendly enough, but it should be more friendly and welcoming. I like to see smiles where I spend my money.
