I usually get a Club Supreme but while craving a cheese steak and trying another location that turned out to be closed headed here instead. I have to say, while I do enjoy the Club Supreme (sans bacon) Mike's Way the cheese steak is not that great. I am not impressed. It is reminiscent of the flat subs from Subway. This is the second soggy sandwich I've gotten in a month. I get home and the bread is already wet all the way through. The lettuce on the sandwich gave it the texture of a horsehide boxing glove . Did a pick up order today. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich with Swiss cheese. No protein. This location has been one our go to locations when we're too tired to cook and just want something to eat at home. Even though staff may come and go they are always friendly and quick. my daughter drove me to pick up an order for friends that are moving. I ordered a sandwich for myself as well. I pulled my sandwich out of the bag when I delivered the bag to our friends. once home, I realized that they had mislabeled the sandwiches. I don't eat pork, and this was a sandwich filled with Italian meats- all made with pork. I called the store and told them the situation and asked them to credit my card with my sandwich since I cannot eat it. They told me since the sandwiches were made correctly, that they cannot do anything to help me. Even though they were mislabeled, and that was their fault they cannot do anything to fix their mistake. The person I was on the phone with was disrespectful and was of absolutely no help. Absolutely horrible customer service I ordered a giant sandwich asked for half of it with no onion. My friend was highly allergic to onions and there was onion on his first bite and he spit it out. I called them two days ago to complain. Nobody called me back I spoke to a young lady. She wouldn't give me her name. Supposedly she was a manager told me that basically I wasn't getting my sandwich replaced I suggest to everyone to always double check your sandwiches before you leave the store or just don't go there anymore. She tried to tell me that she checked the cameras and there was no onions put on half of the sandwich. The five stars is really for the ease and efficiency of using the Jersey Mike's app. Our sandwiches were a solid four stars, the app pushed Jersey Mike's to an easy five! Step 1: Download app Step 2: Place order and pay on app Step 3: Go to Jersey Mike's no-waiting-I-already-ordered counter and pick up food. I went to the Santee location. It was that easy. Quick too! I was in the store maybe 20 seconds. Meanwhile there was a looong line waiting to order at the walk-in counter. Upon placing the order the app estimated my order would take 20 -30 minutes. I arrived at the store 10 minutes early and my sandwiches were already bagged and tagged. #11 Stickball Special: Ham, salami, provolone. I chose wheat and customized with double cheese, mayo, lettuce, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, spicy brown mustard and pickles. #9 Club Supreme: Roast beef, turkey, swiss and bacon. Becky also chose wheat and customized with mayo, lettuce and avocado. We both very much enjoyed our sandwiches. They are not Antonelli's Deli, or Maya's Deli or D.Z. Akins real deli sandwiches, but a quality sandwich nonetheless. My only real complaint is the upcharges are a bit much. $1.29 for extra cheese and $2.29 for avocado. I've been seeing commercials for Jersey Mike's for a few weeks now and finally decided to try them out. Arrived at this location at about 11:30am and was there less than 10 minutes. I ordered the #8 regular sandwich (Club), chips and a drink. Total came to $14.46 which was a little pricey for just me but prices on everything these days is crazy. The sandwich was delicious, however, not Board and Brew delicious. Jersey Mike's is easily my second favorite sandwich place now. Definitely worth a trip for lunch. read more

Had to update my review because I had a major issue here last night. Gave management a chance to fix it and I'm left disappointed with the turn out. My husband and I had dinner here last night and we ordered a giant #8. When I got to the cashier she asked if we wanted chips and a drink and I looked over and saw that the ice tea containers were gone. I asked if they had more iced tea in the back to which the girl said, "ya we take them back at 745pm." Weird, they close at 9pm but whatever. I asked her to include two medium unsweetened iced teas. She brings me two iced teas from the back. My sandwich was delicious (that's why I kept some stars on here) but when I'd take a drink of tea while eating my sandwich it kind of tasted weird but I thought maybe it was the combo of the tea with the vinegar as that can happen sometimes. I almost finished my sandwich and about 3/4 of my tea and now I had a drink without any sandwich and I said to my husband, "does your tea taste weird? Something isn't right at all." I handed him my tea and he opened the lid to smelled it and he said "oh God, it smells like sewage!" My husband had only taken a sip of his but I drank almost the whole cup of this crap!!! I went to the front and a guy asked if I wanted more tea, ummm no! I asked if the manager was there and he said he left. I told him smell this and he did and said it smells like tea and I told him BS that smells like sewer water! I asked for his managers name and number so I could call today. I threw away the remainder of my food and drink and we left. Later in the night I got major stomach cramps and I won't provide you with anymore details of that. When I called today the manager was gone but the assistant manager, Emily was in. I spoke with Emily and told her about the events from the night before and she said, "yah I heard about it so we will be sure to have the night shift clean the containers better; sorry about that." There was silence and we hung up. I expected her to at the least ask for my name and number to follow up in case I got sicker or her manager wanted to follow up... I wasn't looking for free food but an offer to replace my drinks would've been nice, but nope... So what she did gain was a unhappy customer who updated her review and will not return again and will share her unhappiness with others. Companies should train their people better on how to deal with not just an unhappy customer but one who you made SICK! read more

I had lunch here recently while I was in the area. I hear that a lot of people like this place more than subway, I think it all depends on what you're getting! I love the cold subs, but I prefer the hot sandwiches at jersey mikes. My favorite is the big kahuna, which is what I ordered when I was here. It comes with thinly sliced beef, onions, peppers, jalepeneo and cheese. I always add extra jalepeneo to mine for a nice kick. I love the rosemary bread they have and always end up choosing it. The sandwich itself is piled high and comes with plenty of everything. I like to add pickles and that red pepper relish to this sandwich, makes it even better. The service here was great. Everyone was working hard and ready to make whatever you wanted. I don't consider it the best place for a sandwich, but it's fairly decent and still pretty good. read more

On 8/7/23, I was not happy with my delivered oder. I requested no onions, onions were on it. Mayo was supposed to be on the sandwich, no mayo. I had a serious yearning for a chicken parmesan sub and I was in the area so I decided to try it out here. It was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy when I got in there but quickly filled up while I was waiting for my order. I ordered 2 chicken parmesan subs with chips and drinks. The price was about $20 for the two meals which is an okay price but honestly, I didn't think the food was that great to pay for it again. The subs come with provolone cheese. My husband hates provolone so I wanted to substitute the cheese and was incredibly disappointed to find out the only 3 cheese options are provolone, Swiss, and American. I wound up having to put American cheese on his sub which was dumb. You can't put that crappy cheese on a chicken parmesan sub!!! Also, American cheese just sucks. It is the worst cheese that exists. Our subs were okay. I didn't think any of the ingredients were that special that made me think this sub was amazing. It was just a sub. Overall, I probably won't come back here. Honestly, i used to love this place, especially because my sister used to work here, then my sister got a different job and left this one, but we continued to go here because it was so good, UNFORTUNATELY, the lack of training of professionalism has taken its toll on the artistic side of the sandwich making, we came here for dinner and got a #9 and the ASSISTANT MANAGER (Victoria I think her name was) made our sandwich (By that i mean she was at the shredder cutting the meat) and we only got shreds of roast beef and turkey, the meat on the sandwich was very poorly sliced. If your going to be the assistant manager you should know how to make sandwiches the right way and not half ass your job, your being compensated as an assistant manger for a reason, act like it. I counted at least 5 or so. A few of them looked like they weren't doing shit and just kind of hanging out. Maybe a little too laid back? It didn't irritate me or anything, just an observation. Anyways...placed our order. My wife got a Sub Club without mayo and I got a number 2, Jersey Shores Favorite made Mikes Way. We got a Pepsi and a water too. Total after the coupon was only $10.10. It was an excellent value with the coupon! The sandwiches were good. They do put a lot of oil and vinegar on them here. If you like that (I do) its great. If you were to get these to go and weren't going to eat them for a bit, you may want to tell them easy on the oil. The bread was fresh, the meat is always freshly sliced and the taste was good.
