However, freshness is one thing... flavor is another. While they excel in freshness, they lack in flavor. The only discernible tastes in the Supreme sub were the oil and vinegar sauce and an occasional hit of bacon. My personal preference is for thin cut meats so, another plus there... Thin cut cheese though?? Might as well not even be there. The meats, cheese, toppings, and bread were of superior quality but had little taste. Subway has better flavor... And better prices. For the quality though, I'd say the prices here are appropriate. read more

We purchased 6 "Giant" subs from Santee Jersey Mikes for a get together yesterday. The Pro's: The french rolls were fresh. The Con's: Very little meat. The 6 subs that we purchased were five different kinds-same amount of deli-meat on each one. Out of 15 guests, the only 'thumbs up' was the person who ate the veggie sub. The meat is sliced very thin and the amount placed on the sub is lost to the lettuce. I would rate Jersey Mike's higher than Subway, but two stars beneath Antonelli's Deli in El Cajon. read more

Regular sandwich and large drink $12 even. I was just in for lunch, pretty much no wait to get a sandwich. I had a regular buffalo chicken with no tomato, they handed me my sandwich and good thing I did not get it to go because it was a absolute mess. I think they got my order right, but I'm not sure I will it was hard to find the sandwich and the huge pool of sauce all over the wrapping. I just had to post this. I am very impressed by the young people who work at this location. We were there tonight have some sandwiches and there was a lady there who appeared to have some mental issues. Her order was very challenging and convoluted. The process was almost painful for me to listen to. But the kids treated this lady with such respect, patience, and kindness that I have a renewed hope for our future. I give 3 stars for a 2 reasons... 1st reason is that there is not much meat on the sandwiches, and the meat that is is so very thinly cut. 2nd reason is that when ordering online my order was not checked and sandwiches were missing. I simply asked for a refund of the missing sandwich so that I wouldn't have to go Back. They said They can only refund if I came in. Today i spend 33minutes standing in line for a sandwich, there were only 6 people in front of me. Ordered Jersey Mike's from this location through Postmates last night. My whole family was severely disappointed in the quality. Normally, we love Jersey Mike's, but this time it was as if they tried to moisten old dry bread with way too much condiments. There was so much mayo it caused one side of the bread to be soggy before.my order even arrived to my house. The rest of the bread was so hard my kids couldn't eat it and I barely even wanted to. Half of two giant subs and half a regular sub are sitting in my fridge today and will probably go to waste because they were almost nauseating to eat. So I thought I like free, why not. I signed up and got my coupon on my birthday that is valid from the day of your birthday until up to a year later. I used my coupon tonight. I went in and was recommended the number 13 which was delicious. They had a large phone order ahead of me but managed to squeeze me in between making all the sandwiches. The topping were fresh and full on the sandwich and the meats and cheeses sliced fresh to order unlike that other sub place. I will be going to Jersey Mikes from now on and willing pay for it. I got a chicken Philly and a steak Philly both were serviceable but not great. The flavors were muddled and the peppers and onions were so sweet they tasted almost candied.
