Service was relatively fast, bagels were warm, and nice cream cheese selection (including interesting flavors like salmon, strawberry, blueberry, maple), coffee was a miss. We were bringing to a party and while they packed us single serving creamers they only gave a few cups and no sugars, sweeteners, of stirrers. I'd definitely recommend starbucks in terms of coffee quality and accessories (although for starbucks you have to wait since they fresh brew vs here they get from their existing batch). Although 6 or 7 people were working, no one would take any orders. Finally, when the worker took my order, I asked for the bagels to be cut in half. She became annoyed. The lox was interesting, with not much flavor. The cream cheese was.. oh was there cream cheese? The spread was so thin, practically a smear. Came here on New Year's day, there's parking in the back lot. I ordered the lox and jalapeno bagel. It was delish, the bagel was fresh and perfect, it was fluffy and chewy and crisp from the toasted edges. They added red onions, capers, cream cheese and lox. It doesn't take that long, and they were slicing by hand for people who were getting bagels for there, rather to go. They use the same computer system thingy and even carry the same type of lemonade-berry mix drinks. So, in theory, I should like this as much as Noah's. But I don't. I'm a creature of habit. I usually order a bagel with plain cream cheese and one topping, sometimes cucumber slices or jalapeño slices. One time I got it without any cream cheese and just cucumber. Even though there was only one employee working on what was a terribly busy time, that employee rocked it. The manager was there, but for what ever reason, they never stopped to help and instead stopped everything to talk to what appeared to be her sister and brother-in-law... The employee, who is male with short blond hair, helped me with several cumbersome(sorry) coupons. After nearly a line started to wrap around the counter, the manager questioned the employee about the line instead of helping, even another customer asked the manager why she wasn't helping by opening the next register. After about 15 minutes, two other employees finally came in (either just clocking in, or coming off break), one of which gets on the register the manager said wasn't working. So this 4 star is for the employee rocking it, and not 5 stars only due to the unnecessary circumstance he was in. The turkey was fresh and plentiful and the veggies on the sandwich were mighty tasty. Sara was my sandwich artist. She was kind and professional. After my meal, she checked on me and made sure the sandwich was to my liking. I didn't expect that and I was very impressed. She even remembered what I ordered a few weeks prior. This place blows. I'm not a picky eater. If you look at my reviews, most of them are never 3 stars or below. But this joint put a sour taste in my mouth. I work close by and decided to give this place a go with a coworker of mine. There was only one employee working the front (a blonde) near the register. Upon approaching the register, she says "cranberry bagel and honey whole wheat?" I look at my coworker puzzled. She proceeds to slightly roll her eyes, sticks out her hand, motions me to the left while condescendingly saying "okay, you have to order over there." The two people behind us are also thinking, "wtf?" I get it though, my bad. I should have seen the sign "order here". But here's the final straw: Before I'm even done ordering, she interrupts me and barks out "WAIT", as she scrambles to get my order on the system. Girl, really? I used to work in hospitality, and when you can't get a customer's order in quick enough, you say "I'm sorry, I didn't get your order, could you repeat it for me?" You DON'T interrupt them mid-way. On top of that, the bagel sandwich was "meh". The final -1 star was getting my coworker's "to-go" request wrong.
