It bugs me to have a prominent tip jar ( which I used) and a tip screen on the card reader, with no option on the front screen for no tip - and then they get the order wrong! We ordered two bagels with schmear, toasted and cut in half. One bagel was not the type that was ordered, and neither was toasted. We also ordered one unsweet tea and one half and half; both came out unsweet. Look, if you're going to push for tips, get the order right! Few days ago ordered a ice latte with almond milk Get to the window the young lady hands me a hot drink. No big deal I tell here it's supposed to be iced She rolled her eyes like I did something wrong and goes to remake it iced. I see he from the drive through pouring whole milk And she comes to hand me the iced drink and I say is that almond mime you used? She don't even respond to me but stormed off mad that she made another mistake. I sounds like if you come here just be happy with whatever they make you or they will be mad if you want what you ordered. I don't know if the intercom is broken or what so double check at window when paying i have had to re drive thru and be late for work at least 4 times . Then order has been wrong . Just plain delicious. Stopped by for an impromptu breakfast (drive thru)...after my initial breakfast spot was out of commission. What a joy! As soon as I opened the bag, I was rewarded with the tantalizing and inviting aroma of a fresh bagel sandwich...lightly toasted, soft and chewy oozing melted cheese over an egg and a savory turkey sausage patty. I used the drive through. Ordered a bagel with lox on an everything bagel, and a lemonade. When I got to the window the young man opened the window while holding a filthy dustpan directly at my face level. No smile, no hello. Just a total. I paid. He went away. Eventually he handed me a lemonade. Room temperature. No ice. I got my bagel, said "thank you have a great day" and I smiled at him. He said "yep", and closed the window. Pros: service was quick, lovely fireplace in the back of the room, and a nice variety of bagels. Cons: the person taking the orders was not very 'clean' looking. He made me nervous if he is the one handling the food. You need someone at the counter who gives confidence that this place is safe to eat at. Secondly, the bathroom was not well cleaned and needs a good sprucing. The bagel was 'fine' but putting cream cheese on it like a sandwich was odd and made it not enjoyable. And lastly, there is a lack of adequate seating. Without a variety of tables for 2, there were multiple tables for 4 with just one person sitting there making it so the last 3-4 groups that came in couldn't stay to eat. Seems there is a better way to make space for everyone. We might try it again, but not likely. read more

Our employee taking order was friendly and helpful, but our deli bagel sandwiches were very messy. Double baked hash-brown not so tasteful and mushy. 3.5-ish/5 Just your typical morning coffee and bagel shop: nothing too special but nothing bad about it either, hence the slightly higher than average rating. I got a blueberry bagel meal with an iced coffee and it really hit the spot. The meal comes with this surprisingly delicious twice baked hashbrown, which tastes a lot like Cracker Barrel's heavenly hashbrown casserole. They also had bagel dog treats that I had to buy, and my dog loved it. Overall a very friendly and busy place. Nice workers, fast service, good food. read more

Okay. I have tried to get used to this place but no. Just no. Coffee: terrible. Tastes burnt and watered down and always has coffee grounds in it. Soda: Either they always serve diet when you order regular or the mixture of sweetener is off. Cream cheese: has an odd aftertaste and mouth feel like it is it real cream cheese. Cheese on sandwiches: cheese product like those individually wrapped oil things. It's just bad. I must accept it. I'm done. read more

I've been to this location a couple times, but yesterday was my last visit. Wait time is usually what I take issue with, but would never warrant a complaint. However, yesterday I had a very unpleasant experience with the service/staff when transacting. It was a combination of a woman whose name I believe was Nina, and a man whose name I did not catch, but said he was a new hire. While processing my payment in their card terminal at the drive-through window froze. Nina asked if she could have my car to process at an inside terminal and I said yes, but jokingly said "as long as I don't get charged twice". She was apparently frustrated with the computer and the new hire from what I gather, and this must have pushed her over the edge. After returning with my card and passing it back to me, she immediately presented my order while I was simply inserting my card back into my wallet. It could not have been more than a couple seconds before I went to reach for my order when she withdrew it and closed the drive-through window. She did not appear to be in a rush, just visibly agitated. I asked the new hire what her name was to which he replied, "don't worry about it". I am a reasonable person and understand that everybody has bad days, but for somebody who is new to the job and has the audacity to make that kind of comment blew my mind. The staff here is amazing and they go above and beyond every time! I absolutely love the food and the Chai's are actually beating Starbucks from the M-F crew. The fireplace ambiance can't be beat anywhere else!! My concern is the security system. My belief because of being hacked for four plus years and the other single women I've talked to in Middle TN area is that a lot of the security systems are hacked and in return the hacker is harassing single women. The harassment comes by phone and car stereo. My belief is it is via satellite in car because sexual verbiage is replacing standard radio in the car intermittently. This was in my last car, Mazda and now my brand new vehicle. Phone never connected via car stereo as of today. I have had interactions within this store and later it is verbalized via car stereo. My friend says she was drugged and raped from security installer. Women in court said she felt she was being stalked by ex husband. Is it the ex? Other stories of phone/device hacks. I took away one star for the price. $24 for two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees seemed pretty high to me, but we paid for the convenience. Great, high- quality food for a road trip! Bagels are pretty good, but also fairly expensive at 6 for $14. What bothered me about the experience is that we were asked if we wanted to leave a 15-20% tip for the woman putting them in the bag. They don't make servers wages, and they didn't offer any service that would warrant a tip. read more

I got to the drive-through and waited two minutes with my window down while it's raining. She made me repeat everything twice having to literally shout. Unacceptable. I get to the window to pay him I wait another minute and a half waiting for them to turn around and finally acknowledged I rolled up. And what I get greeted with is more attitude. We love the apple cinnamon bagel. So today we decided drive thirty minutes to get it. We have done this many times so not a issue, but today made us rethink visiting this location again. All the employees that work there seemed to be in a mood and not wanting to offer customer service. The girl taking our order would not speak up for us to hear her. She got our order wrong for drinks. When we asked the barista about it he could not get it right either. We ordered a caramel latter hot and a chocolate milk. He asked us 3 different times what we ordered because it was on his screen. We finally got our drinks and he gave us a hot chocolate instead of chocolate milk. I know things are difficult during this time, but not an excuse to offer poor customer service. If your employees don't want to be there then find ones that do. read more

This location is mediocre. Huge line when we went and only one register which seems ridiculous. I told her I didn't want cheese and she seemed confused this included shmear (cream cheese). Yes that's a cheese. Also disappointed that (like most places) they cater only to coffee drinkers. I ordered an iced tea assuming it would be fresh brewed as they have a full barista station. Nope.
