The texture of the rice cakes are nice and chewy - more so than other restaurants. I used to get their namesake tteokbokki which can be made to be extra spicy. And when I say spicy, I mean really, really spicy. These days, I've been getting the rosé tteokbokki, which is much less spicy because of the addition of the cream. Unfortunately, they can't seem to make it very spicy (which was the original reason why I craved tteokbokki from here specifically), but the rosé tteokbokki is addictive in its own way. I always add an extra order of the sausage; they have a good snap and the flavor complements the tteokbokki very well. I've had the other dishes here before - the udon, mini kimbap, tuna rice balls, tempura, donkatsu, etc. Everything is pretty well done. The only dish that I do not like from here is the soondae, which is unfortunate because tteokbokki and soondae is such a classic Korean bunsik combo. But alas, I would not recommend getting that dish here. The flavor and the texture of the dish is not up to par with their other menu items.
