I genuinely wish there were more Eh! Burger locations than just this one in Munising & generally wish Eh! Burger was closer to me! Their food is delicious! This is definitely my go-to whenever I am in Munising or just passing through, they know good food. Located in the heart of downtown Munising, steps away from Lake Superior, what I love most that it's a UP originated AND veteran originated business! I think the velociraptor they have on display inside the restaurant is hilarious! And I just absolutely love the food here! They are vegan friendly because they have the impossible burger patty, which is delicious whether you are or aren't vegan, and they have an extensive menu filled with way more than just burgers as well! During my most recent visit to Eh! Burger, I ordered the whitefish basket. The 1/2 pound option is enough fish & fries to feed 2 people and the fish tasted SO fresh and the breading was BEYOND wonderful! Delicious all around! Love that there is indoor and outdoor seating, its proximity to the lake and to Pictured Rocks Cruises, making it the perfect place to stop by before and/or after your cruise, and its street parking options! Eh Burger is too small to serve as many people as they do, sometimes you will be waiting for an hour or more just to get food, it's way to crowded, they also do not serve fries with the meals which is un heard of. Honestly if they could relocate to a larger building and add fries to the meals it would be way more comfortable for the workers and the community. However the building it self gives off a warm feeling, with a dino raptor and kids coloring pages it makes you fill safe and welcomed, the food is damn near perfect 90% of the time, I never complained about there food, it is very expensive thou. The people honestly are kinda overworked due to the size of the building and amount of people ordering, overall you get a wonderful view of the lake sometimes, wonderful little restaurant with great food, too small of a building. It's one of a few places open here in town but that doesn't mean they're complacent. The service was a bit slow but only because we showed up during off season at lunchtime. They have a slushie bar which adds to the fun. My whitefish basket was locally sourced from Lake Superior and it was cooked to perfection, as were my tots. This is a pretty good place for an upscale burger. I got the vegetarian burger and it was greasy and almost "suspiciously" good if you know what I mean! I also got a gluten-free bun and was pleasantly surprised that they offered them. The price is a little higher and you have to order the sides separately. It also could have been a little cleaner inside, especially the self serve condiment stand as I noticed there wasn't just spilled ketchup on the table, but dust where it should be cleaned daily. I drove by this place for a few winters heading downstate and never had a chance to stop in. Finally, here in the summer after a pictured rocks cruise I finally gave it a try. I got their BBQ burger and it was really good. The bacon was cooked properly and the cheese and sauces all paired well. My wife got a chicken wrap and said she would order it again. The kid split a chicken finger meal, which they almost finished, and we split chili cheese tots. The tots were good, but a bit greasier than I like: chili cheese fries next time. The fries here are so good. But I didn't go for fries. I went for the vegan burger with some colleagues who were traveling with me for work. We entered with them closing in 40 minutes. We were told very rudely that we could not eat inside that we had to take our food to go. Then asked if we still wanted to order. We ordered and the service and environment was so bad that the other colleague that was Black went and sat in the car while our two White colleagues got the food. After disembarking the tour boat for Pictured Rocks, this was the first place in sight. I dove right in. I want to be able to call it "meh" burger, but in all honesty, the burger itself was quite good. The rest was just meh. The tots were just tots, for example. They have a unique sauce made from all the condiments I would never eat on their own, but tasted great all mixed together. You can tell the burger was fresh char-grilled right there. But the size left me still a little hungry. And for the price, I'm not so sure I can recommend it. Not only were the Burgers best even the customer service was exceptionally THE BEST - Nicole, who took our order at 6:48PM after 15 minutes we realized that the our orders will not be prepared by 7:30PM as we had our sunset spray cruise at 8PM. Nicole offered us that she would get our order ready after we return from our cruise at 10PM. The last order they take is at 10PM and they close at 10:30PM. After our cruise I rushed to Eh! Burger. Nicole greeted me and placed our order. After a while people started coming from the cruise this was about 10:10PM - she wanted to say "NO" as per the policy, but she continued to take orders from customers, there were 5 families who ordered. Nicole she went above and beyond to help customers who were hungry and she did all this with a great smile, happiness and enthusiastically. So did the the cooking staff who work behind the scenes. She showed us how to be compassionate and be helpful. When we go to Munising, MI we will go to eat at Eh! Burger because of Nicole. read more

Nice location right by the lakefront in quaint Downtown Munising. Plenty of tables inside and out, but the place was jam packed when we went. We ordered a half pound of fried whitefish with fries. People in our group liked it so much that another few orders were placed. The fish was lightly battered, so it wasn't heavy or greasy. It was served with the standard condiments of lemon and tartar sauce. The fries were decent, but nothing extraordinary. The first order included cole slaw, which was good, but for some reason the later orders did not have cole slaw. The orders also included bread rolls.
