Upon entering this bright establishment we were seated promptly and attended to by our server Chris. He was very friendly and efficient. The place was very clean. I had waffle with bacon and eggs. The waffle was prepared perfectly. It was nice and airy plus dusted with powdered sugar and a strawberry slice on top, very delicious as were bacon and eggs. One friend had steak and eggs which he said was very flavorful. Another friend had pork chops which he devoured and said they were not dry and tender. Very straightforward food and reasonably priced for the portions. The staff is friendly albeit a bit overwhelmed at busy times. I have never had a bad experience here. Looking for a different place for breakfast, the Mrs found Eggs & More. Once inside we were impressed with how neat & clean it was. Gissel seated us right away & was a great waitress who kept an eye on us during our meal, refreshing our drinks. The Mrs had an egg Benedict with sausage. Not only was it tasty, it had to be one of the prettiest meal she's ever eaten. I went with the American classic; eggs & sausage, which was also good. Gissel said they've been open for six months. Kind of a tough review to write as I know this place is relatively new and our server was really nice but the expectations were just not met. We were sat right away, but waited at least 20 minutes to have our order taken, which isn't the end of the world but definitely goes into part of the issue, they're definitely short staffed. After ordering, we waited another 20+ minutes for food (again, not the end of the world but still was a little bit long) for us to receive 2 of the 4 things we ordered. We got our two main things, the hoodoo hash and the chicken stacker (don't remember the exact name). I'm sorry, the hoodoo hash was not it, my "poached" eggs on top were VERY noticeable overcooked, hard, no yolk, boiled to death and the brisket inside was so bizarre, stringy, chewy, no flavor. As shown in the picture, it was not appetizing. On paper, it's sad because it's everything I like, sweet potato's, eggs, cheese, brisket, but it literally was not edible. It was also supposed to come with toast? Never came. My wife ordered the chicken sticker which was good. To be honest, it wasn't anything I'd go out of my way for again but it was at least worth paying for. Another five minutes or so go by and we got our hash browns and English muffin that we ordered, they were good. Then we waited another 5-10 mins for our waffle, which was also good. All of this to say, I feel bad for the server as she obviously had too many tables and with the food coming out at different times I'm sure it's hard for her to make sure everyone gets everything they ordered. I wish this place the best but it's not somewhere I'd go back to as it is now. read more

Well.....I did it, I went back and it was my choice. I was craving Chilaquiles and It was the closest place I could think of that had them, I have been having tummy issues and didn't want to go across town to my first choice so I said, well, it's been 6 months since I have been here so let's see..... The Menu has not changed at all, despite my requests and suggestions to management to add Vegan options for people who are lactose intolerant and vegan of course.... Other places in the area are getting with the program but if you have tummy issues like I do or you care about animals, this place won't work too well for you. I ordered my breakfast--Chilaquiles minus the cheese, sour cream and Beans--I have no idea (and they have no idea) if the beans are vegetarian or contain Lard so I chose to get hashbrowns and mix them in instead. My friend got Bacon and Eggs--He asked for 3 eggs, got 2 eggs and weirdly, charged for 1 egg.... Service was super slow, It took over 30 mins to get the food from the time we ordered and then when it was time to leave, we had to wait 10 mins to flag down the busboy to get the bill and a to go box, the waiter is a nice enough guy but he never checked in on us during the whole meal... I met a friend here for breakfast. I found it on Yelp and knew it would be close to where the friend lives. We met at 9 AM on a Tuesday. The restaurant was not crowded. We were seated at a booth and took our time to look over the menu. Coffee was brought immediatrly. As it truned out, we both ordered the same thing, the Fire Benny. The menu describes the Fire Benny as having grilled English muffins topped with andouille, habanero sausage, roasted peppers, and avocado. The andouille and habanero sausage were in small squares on top of the muffins--the eggs on them, and then topped with Hollondaise. There was a slice of orange and some avocado slices. We both got hash brown potatoes. The Benny was good but I wouldn't call it as Fire. The pieces of sausage and andouille were very small and they added little flavor to the Benny much less any fire. The breakfast was OK. Service was very good. There was a free cinnamon bun with a Yelp check in. I got the bun and had it boxed to bring home. It was quite good. read more

Eggscellent is a gem right around the corner from my house. The staff is friendly and they keep the coffee (which is TASTY!) flowing. Their stiff laminated menus are full of all sorts of goodies and mouth watering pics of their dishes...I've been to both locations and have never been disappointed. Their chilaquiles are fantastic and some of the best I've had in Vegas. Their boxes are crafty concoctions pleasing to both the eye and the stomach. Jose and the gang will take care of you...the only frustration you'll have is trying to figure out what delight to pick from the menu...SO MANY FAB CHOICES...and if that's the case...just ask Jose! Jose was a wonderful food server! I had the salmon hash and marbled rye toast. The cubed salmon, poached eggs, and roasted asparagus mushrooms and potatoes were so delicious and cooked PERFECTLY. My sister had the Monte Cristo and fruit. Both were so yummy and the strawberry compote that came with was wonderful too. Jose walked other food items past our table to show us what they looked like. We were told to come here by another couple at our hotel who specifically mentioned the Dirty Box so I had to try it. It's a mini loaf of bread carved out and stuffed full of brisket and poblano peppers then topped with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. It was excellent although I preferred the Andouille sausage I stole from my husband's Fire Benny over my brisket. There's an offer in the menu for a free French toast if you tag them on social media but I'm allergic to cinnamon, so our server was kind enough to offer us a pancake instead. Both of our hash browns were over-salted by themselves, but with ketchup on top they were still great. Very crispy and delicious. Parking is ample and there's quite a bit of seating indoors. The menu needs a full review--its layout is confusing, and some descriptions mention toast and a side, yet the sides section is hard to find. The biscuits and gravy were floury, gummy, and nearly inedible. The corned beef hash lacked flavor and was ground into mush; even canned options taste better. The Monte Cristo was soggy, and the turkey had an off flavor, plus it should have been served with raspberry jam instead of strawberry. Overall, the food was overpriced for the quality, and I wouldn't return. There are plenty of better places to try. read more

The food is very good. I really enjoyed the hash stack. The only real complaint I have is $6+ for oj. I gasped when I saw that on our bill. I didn't buy an entire jug of juice. Our bill with tip and for only 2 of us was $65. That's a little pricey to me for a local breakfast spot. Will I be back? Maybe. I try to frequent mom-and-pop restaurants over chains to support our community and this place has definitely earned that support. I typically order the same thing every time, the American Breakfast, because it's tasty! But I've seen other meals and they look delicious, too. I'm considering switching over to their California omelette meal because it's so colorful :) This last time Jose and Celeste were part of the wait staff. They were attentive and kept an eye on their customers, which isn't uncommon in the restaurant. Sometimes the restaurant gets really busy, but be patient.
