We were trying to find a quick bite to eat with indoor seating. We were immediately seated upon entry. Wide variety of food - breakfast or lunch. I was able to easily customize what I wanted if it wasn't on the menu. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon instead of sausage. It was delicious. I would have taken photos but it was too good. It was cheesy and filling. Husband got the Philly cheesesteak burger. This is offered for a limited time. I like the brioche bun. My son enjoyed his breakfast. He was able pick three items on the menu as part of the kids' meal. MORE THAN enough food for him. He enjoyed it. We are all very full. All the staff were friendly and attentive. I always appreciate staff who wear their masks appropriately and not showing their noses. Prices were very decent. I would definitely go back for breakfast or lunch. Great quality of food. read more

Outstanding, and needed, breakfast spot in Brandon that offers great food and service. My wife and I decided to pop in on a late Saturday morning and realized just how popular Eggs Up Grill has become. There was a reasonable wait for a table, and once seated we were quickly greeted by our server. She took our drink orders and then went to take the order from the table adjacent to ours. I could tell that there was a translation issue, but the waitress was very patient and walked the customer through the many food choices. Her attentive co-worked realized what was happening and came and took our drink order again, promptly filled the order, and apologized for the delay. That's what I consider an "over and above" effort by a teammate, and it barely impacted the time to receive our drinks. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits Brunch Bowl, which was loaded with ample amounts of shrimp and very well flavored. My wife went for the Shrimp and Grits omelet, choosing to add avocados. Both our dishes were perfectly made to order, served hot, and ample in size. She chose the Poinsetta Mimosa as a beverage, which was a winner in her words, so please be sure to try it if you go. Fantastic customer service. Very friendly staff, restaurant is really nice and clean. The food came out super fast. I Oder a Philly cheesesteak omelette with home fries and a side order of French toast. The omelette was fantastic I would definitely order that again, the French toast tasted different seemed like they used a different type of bread. Just dont go here. End of story. If I go into the details, you will be disgusted, so Im sparing you that. However if you do go, beware of their apple pay, they trick you to pay 25% tip as a first option, which is a huge pet peeve of mine, even more when neither food nor the service was worth it. read more

I got the corned beef hash. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. It was very delicious. The coffee was fresh and I really enjoyed everything. But be warned, Eggs Up is very popular, so if you go at a busy time, you will probably need to wait for a seat. But the wait is well worth it! read more

Ok... so we have been passing by this newly opened place and decided to be brave and give it a try for brunch. Yes, we are one of those concioused people and full of anxiety when it comes to covid. The place has ample parking upfront thus it is not a problem to find a spot. Oh bhoy! It is packed with people inside both dining and waiting for delivery. Anyway, we decided to check it out and found the place spacious inside and not necessarily crowded. If you're very strict on observing social distancing, i would suggest to go dueing wee hours or order via delivery which they offer through usual delivery vendors. We were seated immediatelg and greeted with please by the server and took our orders. Yes! They wear mask. The whole place is bright and clean (including the restrooms). We witnesses them sanitizing the table and wiping all the condiments on the table (impressed). We ordered coffee, avocado toast with eggs and the morning burger. Coffee was unexpectedly good though i prefer my coffee to be darker and stronger but it's good. The food.... was awesome!!!! Simple and it is really good. The burger was two layered with scrambled egg / omelet in between and have some flavors that i was pleasantly surprised. My wife was delightes also by the avocado toast that has salsa on top as well. Overall, very good experience. Good food! Clean and bright.... just a bit packed with people. Well, hey... that means this place... people are truly digging in. Learned they are locally owned business and we would like to support them especially at this time. Looking forward that they maintain their good operations, sanitation and Great food ( yes, we unconciously compare it with a well know. Breakfast chain that need to Watch-out for a second watcher here that might become first. . Just our own two cents). Well recommended for people to try it out either via delivery or dine in. I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed. Let's start with the positives. I love the decor and the ambience of this place. The staff was friendly and professional. They practice social distancing....The food however left a lot to be desired..... The eggs and grits had absolutely no flavor and the steak was also bland. I have visited this location several times! It has become my go to spot for breakfast. Staff is always attentive and the food is always satisfying. Nice atmosphere that is not too big and crowded. Food choices are great and they even serve mimosas!!! This is a great addition to our area and I look for to being a regular for years to come. My go to dish is the shrimp and grits.... try it, you won't be disappointed! Delicious!!! read more

We tried to have breakfast here when it first Opened, and it did not go very well, disorganized, a 40 minute wait and when we sat down, they were out of quite a few items, so we left before ordering. This time much different experience, they had an electronic iPad system which kept everyone seated quickly and efficiently, we sat down after a mere 15 minute wait. I had pancakes, scrabbled eggs and bacon. The eggs were scrabbled soft, bacon crispy and the pancakes fluffy, perfection! My husband had the shrimp and grits with two eggs, and he loved it. Our server was overwhelmed, or unorganized couldn't quite figure that out, we could see our food in the window and hear them calling her name a few times for delivery to no avail, the manager or someone else stepped in and delivered our breakfast. Our server only returned to our table after we got her attention for our check, she never came back to check on us after taking our order and we never received our requests at the beginning for a glass of milk and butter with our meal. We still left her a15% tip, hoping she will stay and become more customer service friendly or organized. We will be back. read more

The service here is the best! Great folks and always friendly. The restaurant is always very clean and the ambiance is happy. Most of the food is great! The potatoes though.....barely cooked. They are boiled and not crispy at all. I don't understand why there is no option to crisp them up. I wish they would at least boil them longer, I often get almost raw pieces. But other than the potatoes, the food is really fresh and delicious. read more

If you have a shellfish allergy do NOT eat here. Instead of separating their shrimp and cooking elsewhere, which is the correct way to avoid cross contamination, they cook their shrimp right next to the potatoes. Then if a shrimp ends up in your food when you have a major shellfish allergy, the general manager will tell you it's your fault for not telling the server, when it's not advertised anywhere on the menu there is a potential for cross contamination. Terrible business practices, terrible customer service. Will never come back. read more

Went here for the first time, I have celiac disease and they were very accommodating. They went to double check with the kitchen to make sure they can make my food with no cross contamination. The food options were limited, but they made sure to keep me safe with my celiac disease. The service was amazing and the kitchen was awesome too about going with the flow for my food! First time trying this place. Our wait time was quoted at 20-25 minutes, but we waited about 45 minutes. After we were seated and ordered our food, it took about 40 minutes for the food to come out. We ordered an omelet and the breakfast burger. The burger was delicious but the omelet was just ok. Thought we waited a LONG time to get in and to get our food, the communication and customer service was great. I will give them benefit of the doubt as they just opened recently. read more

The decor for this place is so cute. Everything else was below expectations, perhaps they were too high. Eggs were not cooked correctly and the server was not coming back so that was that. The toast was cold. The "crispy" bacon was half done. You were able to substitute potatoes for fruit and that was a great option. The fruit was mixed well of honeydew, cantaloupe, fresh strawberries, and blueberries. I have the 2 stars for that reason. I would compare this spot to an overpriced Waffle House. read more

I specifically asked my server if I was able to order the shrimp and grits without the sausage and she confidently said yes. I've been a Pescatarian since 2018, so when I eat meat I get an upset stomach. I was sick for the rest of the day & my husband found some sausage in the leftover grits. Our server's name was Ava, and she is an immigrant of Greek and Albanian descent, who has been in the United States for 29 years. Ava happily brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and offered drinks for us to take with us. We were given the regular menu and a dinner supplement. I have attached copies of the dinner supplement and you can see there are varied options--and you can also see how reasonably priced the options are. Portion sizes were great. The tonkotsu broth is always amazing with or without it. It warms my bones, and especially on a cold winter day. It's also nice that Kung Fu Tea is still the prominent brand here. It's always reliable with consistently good quality ingredients. Their seasonal Pumpkin Oolong Milk Tea is always a winner. So, what has changed? The menu now includes soft or crispy sushi tacos. They have 4 different kinds. I tried the crispy shell with smoked salmon. I LOVE it!! I almost ordered another one, but it would have been too much with the ramen. I can't wait to get it again. I really love that fried maki wrap. It's so light & crunchy. It really does add a good amount of texture to the sushi along with the cucumber. So, I almost got one of the 4 different udons on the menu. It was going to be a toss up between the Kimchi Shrimp and the Black Garlic. Again, it was the beautiful pictures on the menu that lured me in. Ah, but I went with the ramen instead. I will definitely try the udon next time. I was told that the Kimchi Shrimp is very popular. If that's not enough to tempt you, then you must check out the dessert menu. I saw items such as Matcha Cheesecake and Vanilla Crepe Cake that definitely caught my eye. I'm already thinking about my next lunch order. I love the rebranding and the new menu. The service is still great as well as the ambiance in the dining area. It's a place that will always keep me coming back for more. Update: Get the Kimchi Shrimp Udon. It's that Korean inspired udon dish that almost tastes Italian. Absolutely delicious! I saw so many crazy things this morning that I won't come back. 1. Is it sanitary to "polish" the silverware then put them in a napkin to roll by the spoon, fork, knife but the end people use? 2. I saw more customers getting up to get silverware, condiments, etc I've ever seen in a resturant of any kind. 3. Short older woman server put a customers togo box open under her arm pit while she was picking up something else to take and then gave them the Togo box after the opening where you PUT your food was in her armpit!!! Took over 40 min to get an 2 very small unappetizing looking omelets (but were okay) and strawberry cheesecake pancakes with frosting in the middle and on top with fresh strawberries. Instead we got nothing like the pancakes we ordered. Two plane pancakes with a glob of yellow slim on top, no frosting? And no cheese cake bites in the pancake. I didn't ask for the manager but our server (who was great) brought him over. I just asked what is this? He pointed to the menu and the photo on the menu and said it's that. I said Really...... Is it now? Let's look at that and look what our server brought me. He said it's the same. I just said okay. I wasn't going to argue it's pointless and the manager looked lost himself. So I'll let y'all decide. Here are the pictures. Ohh my 7 year old daughter's waffle was so hard she couldn't even eat it. Nor her fruit bowl that was all sour and old wilted strawberries. Horrible breakfast experience. Wont be coming back here that's for sure. read more

I did not like this place at all! The biggest thing for me was the napkins wrapped around the utensils. The Fabric was everywhere and I have allergies so I was uncomfortable trying to get it off the table and off of me the whole time. I had to ask for regular table napkins and another server helped me out. The food was very bland, I didn't expect it to be this bad. I could tell from the presentation it was going to be. My grits had absolutely no taste and they threw on American cheese like they couldn't melt it a bit being that nobody was really in there, very freaking lazy. The eggs tasted like nothing, no salt or any type of seasoning, plus I added cheese but that didn't help. The corn beef hash was okay but the way they rolled it up was very amuture. My coffee was also okay and that was it. I honestly feel like I wasted my time and money. The place also feels a little cold and tight. Too light and airy but this could be my personal preference. People want to feel comfortable when eating like they're at home just an FYI. The staff was very nice but some changes really need to be made starting with the food! read more

I recently visited Eggs Up Grill on a Sunday afternoon, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. As it was my first time there, I had high hopes, but the food fell short. It was either overly salty or completely lacked flavor, which was disappointing. The atmosphere felt chaotic, and it was evident that no manager was on-site. The staff seemed to be struggling to maintain order, and it created a rather unwelcoming environment. Our food sat at the pickup window for an extended period, which didn't help the overall experience. To make matters worse, I witnessed one employee openly berating another server. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and contributed to the messy vibe of the place. Overall, it was not what I expected, and I doubt I'll be returning. The French toast had the perfect cinnamon sweetness, and the cheese grits were creamy and flavorful. Bacon was cooked just right, and the home fries were golden and crispy. The coleslaw wasn't drenched in mayo, which I appreciated. It leaned a bit heavier on pepper and celery flavor than my personal preference, but it was still refreshing. I also noticed that the far end of the diner has an area with single and double-occupancy seating, along with a row of outlets along the wall. I thought that was a really thoughtful touch--it sends a welcoming signal to solo diners who may want to eat, linger, and even get some work done. Paired with the clean and bright environment, this place is definitely going on my pocket list. One note: the location applies an automatic 18% gratuity for dine-in. I really appreciated that they post clear signage up front and that the servers check with guests to see if they've dined here before--if not, they verbally explain the policy again. That level of transparency made the experience feel respectful and well handled.
