We decided to check out Eggs Up Grill since we pass by them on a daily basis. Well let's just say after today's visit, we will continue to pass by. Now granted, it was a Saturday morning and they were very busy, but they were able to seat us in a booth. We were immediately greeted and ordered a cranberry mimosa carafe. You could tell, the champagne did not come from a freshly opened bottle because of the flatness and because there were very little champagne bubbles. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak with no onions or mushrooms and an order of potatoes and an order of French toast with fresh cracked cheese eggs and bacon. We waited for about 30 minutes plus in order to get our food. The French toast dish came out, but we noticed the eggs weren't shelled eggs and were powered eggs and the cheese was not melted. Those eggs tasted almost like the eggs you get at a hotel's continental breakfast, but worst. They weren't good at all. While I did enjoy the French toast and bacon, my friend's dish came out way later than mine and it was wrong. It had onions and mushrooms. Because of this, they did go ahead and serve him his potatoes. Our waiter did apologize and was able to comp the sandwich since it was wrong and it took a long time to originally receive it and then it took a long time to fix it. So all in all, the food was just subpar. As far as the restaurant, it was not clean. There were pieces of food all over the floor and I passed by a few crayons on the floor as I walked to the restroom. The restroom also was not clean and you could tell it hadn't been checked in a while. Also the soap dispenser was broken off the wall and lying on a table near the sink. I was embarrassed as a customer. I can only imagine if the owner was there, how would they feel.

Came here the day after thanksgiving for a quick morning breakfast. It was pretty tasty. Ordered the seasonal crème brûlée French toast with turkey sausage the price with a cup of coffee. The actual French toast was really good. I don't like a lot of sweet custard so the crème filling was a little much. Probably could have been just as tasty with just one layer of crème. So I scooped a layer off and gave it to my kid. I really appreciated the turkey sausage and bacon options since we don't eat pork. The service was great and timely. It's a pretty clean on normal sized establishment so we were seating in less than 30 mins. If you looking for a brunch option in the area I recommend checking it out.

Eggcellent food, Eggcellent service! Only complaint I have is when first driving by I thought there was a long wait for tables because four people were standing at the front window having an animated conversation. It appeared some had Eggs Up Tee shirts, yet the one fella's belt hung so low it was difficult to believe management would let that go... Still unsure why there would ever be cause for four employees stationed in front of the door, (and at times blocking traffic)... Other than that, I recommend EggsUp to everyone.

I don't consider breakfast to be just a morning meal, I'm happy to eat breakfast anytime of day. Eggs Up Grill is the perfect place to satisfy all of my breakfast cravings. Even though the restaurant was busy, we were still seated and greeted quickly. It took us a few minutes to get through the large menu but I don't know why I even had to look - I'm a breakfast purest - give me bacon and eggs any day/every day. We didn't have to wait long for our food. In front of me was a plate filled with scrambled eggs, 4 slices of crispy bacon, a large pile of home fries and the best part - raisin toast. Everything was good with the exception of the potatoes. They were very over seasoned and I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. Next time I'll probably opt for grits. In addition to all day breakfast, there is a decent selection of lunch standby's too. My friend ordered a Cobb salad. She said it was very fresh though unremarkable. When at a breakfast place, order breakfast. The menu had all of the breakfast standards and a few that were a little atypical. Hash was identified several times as a house specialty. I'm sure my husband will want to try the waffle. I may live dangerously and order the hash...we'll see.

Having just arrived in Huntsville from Chicago, we stopped to get breakfast at Eggs Up Grill. There is a sign in the dining area stating that 86640 have been served here. That's amazing! The people are so nice here in Alabama. One of the servers, not even ours, saw my husband's Michigan hat and started a conversation about the college bowl games. He was a nice young man from the Pittsburgh area. Our server was also hospitable. Now that we have finished our meals, I'd like to report that it was delicious...especially my Coastal Eggs Benedict. I also noticed that they had some interesting mimosas. One was Cranberry and another made from apple cider. I would have tried the apple cider but we were driving to Birmingham, so I'll wait for another time. Thanks for a great breakfast! The dining area is a good size, so I felt comfortable with social distancing. My husband is a cancer patient, so we have to be careful. I ordered the Coastal Eggs Benedict and my husband ordered The Classic.

Good new place. I love breakfast and this is a good addition to the Madison restaurant scene. The menu is large, especially for a breakfast and lunch place; it was difficult to decide. I ordered the Homestead Platter with 2 eggs, four slices of bacon, 4 pieces of sausage, and a biscuit with sausage gravy. Everything was excellent! I really liked how they fried the bacon, crispy, but not overcooked, just right. The biscuit was sliced in half with a bowl of sausage gravy, some manual assembly was required ;). Also, I got a blueberry muffin to go that was excellent, sliced in half, covered in butter, and grilled on the flat-top. Yes siree!! The location is in the center of Madison near Publix on Hughes Road. It is a small place in the strip mall, and I expect the place will be packed when people discover it...psst don't tell anyone! The service was excellent. They have a motto of "Let me make you smile" and they certainly do that. Everyone is very friendly and excels at customer service. Although it is a chain franchise, it has a local place vibe. Amanda was very attentive and provided first-class service. I will return because there are about 376 other items on the menu that I want to try.

Most of the wait staff was wearing very tattered clothing and the worst offender was the bus boy. Although he was working his tail off, he looked like he hadn't showed in several days and hadn't washed his clothes in a week. His bus tub was disgusting. As he was cleaning the table beside us, he put the tub in the table top and as I turned my head to look over I lost my appetite seeing the condition of the tub. To know that he put it on top of the table made me even more disgusted. Not only was he bussing tables but he was also taking plates of food to tables. I, personally, would not have accepted food from him because it's very unlikely he washed his hands after cleaning tables off. Our waiter was nice but he looked very sloppy. I realize I'm not at a white table cloth restaurant but at least make sure the serve staff looks presentable. We won't be back.

I've been wanting to visit since they first opened and have been anxiously watching their social media for coverage of the beautiful dishes and drinks, looking forward for my chance to try their food. But this first visit did not at all live up to the hype or my expectations. I came on a Thursday about three weeks ago after my annual doctor's visit. It was around 11:15 when I arrived. Note this restaurant is in the bustling Providence area. It's an attractive and somewhat upscale shopping and dining destination and parking can be a bit of a challenge. I found the parking lot of a nearby hotel that had ample spots, so I took one of those and marched over. It did look like there was a parking garage not too far away. Anyway, the restaurant was about 1/3 full when I arrived. The hostess asked if it was just me, which I confirmed. She asked if I was okay to sit at the bar. My preference would honestly have been a table or booth, even a two top, but I told her whatever was easiest for her was okay with me, and so to the bar I went. The bartender took my order and brought my food and mostly left me alone, which was also more my preference. He was nice enough in our interactions and food was served in a timely manner. After I ordered is when things started to go downhill. First, I asked a waitress where the restroom was and set off for a visit. Despite it being earlyish in the morning, one stall was already filthy enough I didn't want to use it, and the other one was out of toilet paper. Fortunately I noticed before using it! I came back to my seat and was served water in a carafe. It wasn't particularly cold but the bigger problem than that was that it smelled like dirty dishwater when I poured it in my cup. Not sure if my glass was still dirty or the water itself was, but suffice to say, it wasn't pleasant. Next, my food arrived. I ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of fries. Others have commented negatively on the pricing here, but my experience was slightly different. I ultimately wound up being charged for just the entree. The description for the burrito does not indicate it comes with a side. I assumed I'd pay for the burrito + side, which was going to be ~$25. THAT is a price tag I'd say is too high, but I was ultimately charged for just the entree, which was ~$16. I still think that's a bit much for the quality and size of the food I was served, but I can see how it would be acceptable under better conditions. That said, I'm not sure if the burrito does come with a side that's included in the price OR if they just forgot to charge me for a side. Anyway...the food. The fries were the best part at exactly average. They looked pretty and were crispy enough. It was a pretty paltry serving even for the price I was charged; it would've been a VERY paltry serving at the $9 (!!!) a side of fries was listed as on their menu at time of visit. Ultimately though, my main grievance is with the burrito. It needed work in about every aspect. It was put together poorly, with almost all bites I took very uneven in terms of filling, and watery sauce dribbling out before I even took my first nibble. I did ask for no avocado, but even with that in mind, I thought the amount the burrito was filled was pretty disappointing - it was tiny and heavy on the tortilla. My first few bites were only of egg and a few bacon bits - no sign of cheese, tater tots, green onions, or chipotle aioli to be found. The eggs badly needed salt or really any flavoring at all. Eventually, several more bites in, I discovered some cheese and some tater tots, but even then, the flavor-meter was pitifully low -- idk how you make a tater tot not salty enough, but these surely weren't. For a while I was convinced that they'd put some sort of very strange glaze on the bacon because it started tasing oddly sweet (à la candied bacon), but I eventually could only come to the conclusion it was the very watery, very pale chipotle aioli I was tasting. I was expecting that to be slightly spicy and definitely thicker/more mayonnaise-y, but given the listed ingredients, that's the only thing it could've been unless something went very wrong in the kitchen and some other sauce was put on my burrito. The one slightly saving grace was the green salsa, which added heat, if not a ton of flavor, to the dish. I am both mad and sad to say that I have had Taco Bell breakfast burritos that beat this one by a country mile. I really like the design and interior of this place and the menu looks promising. The service was fine. People whose opinions on food I respect have lovely things to say about Loona's dishes. I can only assume/hope my first experience was a very odd one-off. I'd be willing to try again some time in the future, but for now, this was not at all what I was hoping for from a visit.
