Let me preface this 1-star interview by stating that I ordered my food via UberEats. Not too sure sometimes if the blame on a bad order should go to the restaurant or the deliverer, but I'm basing this interview strictly on just the restaurant side of it.. My food was actually delivered 50 minutes after the original estimated delivery time. After making my food, UberEats indicates there was no driver available and was attempting to get a driver. Concerned that my food would be cold, my fiancé inquired with Eggs & Things who assured him that all food is kept in warmers and that my food would not be delivered cold. That was wrong. Upon receiving my food, the container the food sat in was soggy (they use cardboard type containers) and the bottom was overly wet and soaked. Took a bite and it tasted as if the food sat out for over an hour, not anywhere close to even lukewarm, it was cold. The eggs Benedict itself was a good size and tasted well once heated up, however the side rice it came with, barely even a scoop! I was shocked that they didn't even give an actual scoop of rice like they normally do when you dine in. I've tried the other locations of Eggs & Things but this is my first time trying food from their Ko'olina location. Although not my favorite brunch spot in general (truthfully I only ordered here because it was the only place I could order from on UberEats that early in the morning), I probably won't be going back again after this. read more

Came here around noon before going to the beach. It was great, the wait was maybe 10 minutes max, and we were able to get our food served pretty quickly. The host is a pretty chatty guy (understatement), which I'm honestly not too big a fan of entertaining, but that's a personal thing, so nothing dinged against them. The guy is just REALLY enthusiastic about everything. The Guava mimosa took a while to get there, but overall was good. I had the Kalua Pork egg Benedict, and asked for over easy on the egg, but it definitely was almost a hard. It's also not on the menu, but I saw it on the huge television screen. Overall, the vibe was pretty good, but things did take a while to come out. Wouldnt mind coming again, but definitely if it's a leisure-type of day. read more

Make sure to make a reservation, this is a small cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and efficient. All of our food was yummy, hot and fresh. Great local options for us tourists staying at the Aulani Resort across the street. Also some sweet and pretty Instagram-able options that my daughter and son in law ordered but I didn't get a picture. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting. read more

We came here multiple times on our trip while staying in Aulani. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious! The walk is about 5-10 minutes from Aulani and easy. I mostly wanted to comment on how friendly and nice the staff is. The host(ess), servers, everyone was so nice. We had the Loco Moco and it was soooo good. Also tried the mochi waffle which was yummy. Loco Moco read more

This restaurant definitely caters to the tourists at the nearby resorts so expect a wait and expect the service to be on "island time" and expect the prices to align accordingly - as long as your expectations are set this is a nice place to have breakfast. The host at the door was a joy and set things off on the right tone. We ate at the counter and all the servers who took care of us there were good. I got the Hawaiian loco moco (which had Portuguese sausage and sautéed onions and mushrooms added to a traditional loco moco) and I enjoyed it. Generous portions! read more

First time for us at this location. Party of 5 which included our darling 20 month old granddaughter. Since this is a popular place in town we had to wait about 15 minutes so we walked across the street and perused the ABC store. We were happy when our table was ready! It would have been great to have more space around us, but we made do. The menu offers lots of options and each of us found something we wanted for breakfast. Our waiter was busy but attentive. Substitutions requested were accepted with a smile and each meal came hot and as ordered. This is probably not the least expensive place to eat in Kapolei, but we enjoyed. read more

Great food and big portions. The best waffles I have ever had. I will definitely be going back when I visit again.

This 5 star review is for Aunty Jo! We need more of her in this world. If you guys could clone her you'd have the best service in all of Hawaii. The food is good but it's even better with her as your waitress. Please figure out a way that we can tip HER DIRECTLY. I understand it's a team effort but she's on the frontline creating special moments and memories for your guests. I'm in the luxury hospitality industry and you can't teach that. It's all from the heart! Mahalo Aunty Jo! You the best! read more

Aunty Jo was able to let us feel like Ohana. We weren't at a "restaurant " we were at a family gathering. Everyone around us even was treated with the same care. I personally didn't eat a lot or enjoy the food but I did enjoy the atmosphere and staff. Including the management. Worth making a trip out to see this place. read more

Excellent service overtime we have been there. Prices are good especially compared to hotel options nearby which is why we kept going back. Their pancakes French toast and waffles are really good. Egg options especially omelette not as good but still okay. read more

Hubby and I came here for breakfast after dropping off my daughter to school. I came hungry. Luckily, there wasn't a long line. We were the first ones in line but people who RSVP online get priority. Hubby and I didn't know that but we got seated in 15 minutes or so. There's inside and outside dining. We got sat inside at a table. I ordered an iced tea to drink. It was a tropical tea and tasted great. Definitely enjoyed that. For my entree, I got a Hawaiian loco moco. This was delicious. It was filled with rice, a hamburger patty with gravy, mushrooms, onions and bits of bacon inside along with your choice of how you want your eggs. I got it over easy. So rich and flavorful. I got to eat most of hubby's pancakes which came with butter and coconut syrup. So good and filling! Service was excellent by our waitress. She checked up on us and made sure hubby's drink was refilled but never asked me. Oh well! There were a few spaces in front of the restaurant for parking. I highly recommend this place. Food was delicious and I would definitely come back with the family. read more

This place has some great food. We stood in Koolina & walked over to this place. It was so good we went back the next day. The serving size is big. We would recommend the steak, potatoes and eggs and the island rice. I'm sure everything else on the menu is amazing as well. What makes this place so unique and awesome is the host Scotty. Jalapeño Bacon Fried Rice. It was delicious and the local flare added to the experience. Yes and amen

Place is good but crowded if you're only 2 people and want to sit inside you'll need to wait longer for a table for 2 they will not sit you at a table for 4. The hostess looked very unhappy she had to work. read more

Awesome staff that remembers familiar faces. This place Actually lets you reserve and track your place in line( as long as you have yelp) so feel free to walk around and check out the stores and other restaurants until you're next. For a delicious breakfast option in Ko 'Olina you have to come here, if only for their macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup! Best I had on the island by far! Wow, disappointed for sure. Food was dripping in butter. The outside seating is disgusting. There are lots of birds that come into the eating area as there is nothing to deter them. There are huge signs outside that say "join the waitlist" "don't come inside unless your number is called". We joined the waitlist and waited and waited. After the time frame from this app passed, we spoke to the hostess who was very rude. She told us there were lots of reservations that take precedent, and when we told her the app said a certain time frame, she replied with "it's an app!" As if why would we trust it. They should really figure out a way to turn off their waitlist when the restaurant is filled through reservations. And not be rude about expectations set by the app they choose to use. read more

I wasn't actually able to eat here. Came in at 12:50PM, 1 hour and 10 minutes before closing time at 2PM. One group was sitting inside. Three groups were sitting outside. I asked to be seated outside and was told that outside was closing and that wasn't possible. If you are going to close the outside at an earlier hour than the inside, post it somewhere, like on your website, Yelp, door (where your hours are listed). etc. I specifically checked everywhere I could think of before driving over. Also, why close the place where most people like to sit 1 hour and 10 minutes early? The weather was good, there was no obvious reason. read more

The food and the staff are awesome! This is a great place for breakfast. I notice that anyone who doesn't give a 5 Star rating is usually complaining about how long they had to wait for a table. Why do you suppose that it? People don't need to wait for tables at bad restaurants. It's worth the wait! Or, add yourself to the wait list through Yelp before you leave your hotel room.
