Very tasty breakfast at Eggs and Things. I ordered banana chocolate chip pancakes and expected them to be cooked inside the pancake. They were on top. Not my preferred way but still good. Sherry had Hawaiian bread French toast with whipped cream and strawberries. She said it was good but way too much. Prices are standard for the area. Service we quick and friendly and besides the birds inside dive bombing my head (lol), nice place! read more

I really loved my brunch here. I am a sucker for eggs Benedict and when you add a crab cake on top of that, there's nothing better. The restaurant is very popular so expect a wait. We waited about 20 minutes on a weekday morning. But once we were seated, the service was very quick and friendly. They have a kid friendly menu which is great for families. You sit upstairs in a cozy location but the staff is very quick and friendly. The prices are very reasonable as brunch prices so but the portions are perfect. Not too much but just enough. My husband got a burger, which was also awesome. The potatoes, also great. Honestly, no complaints what so ever. read more

Was such a cute little spot for breakfast with the family. Staff was super nice . I would recommend checking online for the waiting and get on the waitlist because there is a little bit of a wait but worth it. Very short wait there's a line . Upstairs on the balcony with a scenic views. Great staff very kind over the top . I would avoid this restaurant. The food tasted like it was cooked in rancid oil. We each took one bite and couldn't finish our meals because the taste was so unpleasant. The situation was made worse by the manager refusing to remove the uneaten dishes from our bill. Instead, he offered only $7 off nearly $60 worth of food that we barely touched due to the rancid taste. We didn't want to make a scene at the restaurant, so we paid and left. However, I hope the management takes this feedback seriously--please change your oil more regularly and don't expect customers to pay full price for food that clearly isn't edible. read more

All the grease the omelet was cooked in! Yuck. Flavor was awesome. Undercooked. Gelatinous middle. Pancakes were to die for. Service good although an occasional smile wouldn't hurt. The matra'de would just stand and point instead of showing people to seats. Watch your receipt. Kitchen took 3%. So I subtracted that out of my tip. read more

Yelp never disappoints glad I was able to try tried the snickerdoodle -- and WOW. Soft, sweet, and that perfect cinnamon sugar crunch on the outside. It was like biting into a warm memory from childhood but even better. The texture was just right, and it wasn't overly sweet. Totally crave-worthy! Wow, this was the best eggs bene I've ever had! The family took us to brunch here before our flight back to NV. They have lots of breakfast options and everything was delicious! The severs were very friendly and the food was delivered pretty quickly! They also have the cutest gift shop downstairs with a bunch of cute honey bear themed things. We were staying at the Alohilani hotel which is right next door and wanted some breakfast. They do not accept orders over the phone yet we were having trouble linking to the website to place the order. They recommended we use doordash and pick up the meal. The food was good, as expected, but we ran into some issues ordering through door dash (issues we alerted doordash) Advice if ordering through door dash - order each item as an individual item!!!! DoorDash offers you to 'add on' to items but those items are often not seen by the restaurant/kitchen and forgotten. For example, we ordered Eggs Florentine and it asked if we wanted to add on a short stack and maple syrup. We paid for the short stack and maple syrup through door dash but the restaurant did not receive this part of the order and when we went to pick up the order, the short stack was not included in our food. We alerted doordash and hopefully they make this right for future customers. If you want a short stack and eggs florentine, add them to your cart individually and as separate items to make sure it is included in your to go bag! read more

This was my last food stop while visiting Hawai'i recently. Loco moco - I loved that this was more than just a hamburger patty with rice, eggs, and gravy. This has fried rice with grilled onions and mushrooms (note: I do not eat mushrooms, so my sister got to enjoy them all and loved them). Pancake sampler - pancakes were fluffy and good, but standard in my opinion. The table side coconut syrup was the real stand out and I wish they sold it in their storefront because I'd take it home with me in an instant. The only thing I really felt was missing was a loaded ube pancake. I guess that means I just have to come back to Hawai'i again soon, right?! Mixed fruit - we also shared a mixed fruit bowl to make us feel healthy and because it was refreshing and yummy. Very standard and we both enjoyed it. read more

With this being 2025, there is zero reason a restaurant like this does not offer vegan breakfast other than an Açaí bowl, a Beyond patty (this is not breakfast food), potatoes and fruit. Just Egg, vegan sausage and pancakes / waffles could very easily be a part of the menu. The food was good. This location is nice as it has an indoor that feels outdoor with the doors open. Only an upstairs dining room is not ADA friendly. read more

We walked in on a Sunday morning and picked this place because they seemed busy and had people outside waiting for a table so we knew it would be good. We put our name down for a table for 5 and the wait was fairly short maybe 15 minutes before we were sat. The restaurant itself has two levels, the bottom level has a merchandise area that is so cute along with the check in counter then the restaurant on the top level. It has a classic diner atmosphere and the service is very fast & so friendly. Galbi & Eggs w/ Kimchee, side of pancakes: Very tender and flavorful especially with the kimchee, you get a choice of side (rice, potatoes, or pancakes) and we picked pancakes Island Fried Rice: Your classic fried rice with portuguese sausage, ham, & bacon with eggs on top, a good balance of flavor with a island twist Kimchee Fried Rice: Tangy, perfectly salty kimchee fried rice with eggs on top. Been 3 years since I last been here. It was good then. The menu has since changed since I last been here. The loco moco isn't the same anymore. It's more fancy. So today I tried the Hawaiian Loco Moco and a Kalua Benedict. Both were delicious and for a decent price of $17.95 each. Our server this morning was very attentive (receipt said cashier is Stella. My husband and I were looking for a place to eat breakfast before we went to Pearl Harbor. He found Eggs n Things and we loved the food. The portions were prefect and we were satisfyingly full! hehe. Our waitress was very kind and sweet. We loved the different syrups or sauce for the pancakes. We chose to use one with coconut. OMG SOOOO DELICIOUS!!! The place was packed and we now know why. They had a store downstairs. I wish I could've got something. Maybe next time. We will definitely come back to try more of their pancakes when we visit Oahu again. read more

The amazing lady at the counter was kind and so remarkably quick with her duties. She rang up everything and delivered the food with lightning speed. We split a Boneless Chicken plate and it was plenty for two people. The chicken was tender and well seasoned and the Mac Salad and Rice complimented it well. They even came with ketchup on the side, which I love as a pairing but don't see much of at restaurants. My favorite meat item was definitely the sizzling boneless kalbi. The presentation on the sizzling plate with a side of kimchi was spectacular, and the meat was full of flavor. We also ordered yakisoba, which wasn't part of the prix fixe. Tasted good but nothing past standard expectations. We let the waiter know we had a 30th birthday at the table, and they brought a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream with a candle, and did a decent job getting the whole room to participate in the singing. It could also be the type of crowd this place attracts, since it seemed that everyone was so friendly and approachable. Thanks to the quick and consistent service, we were out in a little over an hour with no complaints.

He said the two most popular meats are the kalbi and the spicy pork. "Perfect!" I thought, because those were the two options I was eyeing. Unfortunately, they were out of kalbi that day. Bummer... Nothing else on the menu caught my eye, so I ordered a smoked spicy pork plate to go. The spicy pork was good. Did it blow my mind? I wouldn't say it did. But it was satisfying enough. Honestly, I really wish they had kalbi available when I went. Hopefully next time I stop in they will.
